Down Bad III
Greta approaches us, and before she places her hand on her hip and glares at us, her eyes meet mine and flash with recognition.
"Pool Boy, shouldn't you be looking over the pool?" She lashes out at Mason. I and Jacob look over at the pool.
Before we both turn to look back at her, the unoccupied pool that never gets used.
I can see Mason wanting to roll his eyes, but he doesn't, as she taps her foot impatiently.
After all, he continues to work, albeit for her father. He smiles tightly at her. "Just giving one of the guests a hand."
"Anyways I need you to clear out the pool for the next hour, I'm having a special guest," Greta says, rolling her eyes.
She murmurs as she picks at her nails. As he looks over at the bodyguard standing off to the side, Mason's jaw clenches.
"That is impossible. I am not ejecting these individuals because you did not reserve the space in advance.
Greta stomps her foot and huffs out of frustration. "The service here would greatly displease my father," She sneers as she begins to argue with Mason, who is attempting to be courteous.
When I notice Alejandro walking out of the main building and toward the pool, my attention shifts to the exit and I tune them out.
He doesn't come here, my brows furrow. As he speaks animatedly on the phone, his phone is pressed to his ear.
I can tell that he is conducting business as he moves toward us.
He is wearing a suit, and as his jaw tightens, the stress lines on his forehead stand out.
When they land on Greta's bodyguard off to the side, I see him begin to make his way over to him after looking around impatiently.
Did he visit Greta? I was unaware that they were going on dates. Thinking makes my eyes narrow.
I don't believe it at all. I discretely break away from the quarreling duo and make my way toward him, grateful Greta was too preoccupied with her complaint to notice Mason.
I glare at the women who are focusing on Alejandro as I walk down the row. Yes, that's your wish, Karen.
I get closer to Alejandro, who is walking toward the menacing bodyguard while texting on his phone.
Greta, where are you? The bodyguard nods in my general direction and speaks in an impatient tone.
Alejandro's eyes caught Greta in the distance for a split second before snapping back to me in recognition, effectively doing a double take. "Camila?"
As he places his phone in his pocket and asks, his impatience turns to confusion.
As I reach up to peck his cheek, I smile at him. He lets me do it by dipping his head, his face still looking confused. Ciao." I greet him with a smile.
"I had no idea you had come here," As he walks past me and toward Greta, I say softly and turn to walk with him.
Shaking his head and sighing, he said "I don't." "It was Greta's idea to drag me here," he mutters.
"Then, why are you chatting with her?" My voice is clear as I say the resentment aloud.
Alejandro turns to look at my face, his eyes giggling with glee at my antics and he smiles.
I put my anger aside as I observe that he has not yet glanced down at my mature body. "I promised her family that I would make arrangements to spend time with her at least once per week," I stated.
He states As Alejandro playsfully focuses his eyes on me, I make a gasping sound and scrunch my face up in resentment. "Behave."
As we approach Greta, he chastises me, and I subtly bite my lip. just for you.
Greta throws herself at Alejandro, who instinctively catches her, as she spins on her heels and gasps.
While I move to stand next to Mason, whose pent-up rage has reddened his face, "Alejandro, oh my! You arrived. The awfulness of the service is unbelievable". I roll my eyes at her antics as she murmurs.
"This employee has just been making my life miserable." She pouts as though she expects Alejandro to take care of Mason.
At her, I narrow my eyes. Alejandro would not do that, and if that scumbag thinks she can pick on Mason, she has something else in store.
I have been acting, but if I made one bad move, I wouldn't stop.
As he returns his focus to Greta, Alejandro glances at Mason and nods in either acknowledgement or apology.
"Come, I only have twenty minutes before I have to go back to work," she said. He claims to be leading her away.
Is that it? As he begins to lead her away from us, he pauses to smile at me before leaning in and kissing my cheek as a final goodbye.
"I'll see you at home, Caio, Principessa?" He whispers as he rubs my cheek.
Before leaning up on my tiptoes and turning my head to return the peck, I find myself flushing at the action. "Yeah," I breathe, my lips unintentionally touching his. But as he nods at me, "Good," he doesn't seem to be paying attention.
He then turns and leads a displeased Greta away. I follow his hand as he leads Greta away, noting how handsome he looks in that black button-down and slacks.
The collar button is undone, revealing his chain, and I follow his hand as he leads Greta away. His strong veiny hands and the two gold rings on his fingers only heighten his appeal, which I observe.
"You sly brat. What you're doing, I can see, From next to me, Mason makes a comment in my ear.
But it doesn't matter because I'm still reeling from his kiss on my cheek. I let out a sigh as I follow the man of my dreams.
"Now do you understand?" Even though I don't look at Mason, I can feel his gaze on Alejandro's back as I probably nod.
"Now I see it."
He concurs, turning to face me while following Alejandro and slightly shaking his head in awe.
I grumble and turn around to face Mason, who is still gazing at the spot where Alejandro left off, his brows rising to his hairline.
"Sorry, Mason. I can no longer take it. He is so important to me.
As Mason grips my shoulders and smiles in my direction, I whine.
"I hate to tell you this, Cam, but I have no idea how you're going to stop him from seeing you as a cute little girl.
He didn't even look at these kids, you see." He murmurs, his sympathetic gaze descending to my exposed chest, brightened by my bathing suit top.
"I'm in trouble." I murmur. He turns his attention back to me, then looks toward where Greta and Alejandro were just now.
"Maybe he doesn't like boob?" He makes pathetic offerings. Maybe he just doesn't like me.
I wince in pain at the thought of Alejandro never seeing me that way, which makes my heart sink even further.
"I'm gonna take my second break," he said as he wrapped his hand around my shoulder.
As he leads me away, Mason murmurs. "Let's head to the ice cream shop." I pathetically follow, sighing, trying to forget how bad I was feeling.
