CHAPTER 41

We are sitting in our respective seats and now people that passes me and Emerson would stare as if they know the whole story of why I am here and how I can show my face to everyone after all the dramas that Megan and Sebastian did.

"Thank you again for this gown. Martha knows how to make me look beautiful." I said.

He smiled. "You're welcome."

"The groom arrived." Emerson said.

When I turned my head as to where he is looking, I saw Sebastian wearing a white tuxedo with peach tie.

It’s not like the time that we were together that whenever I see him, I feel excited. Today, what I can see is just an acquaintance. I'm not being bitter but it’s just the way I feel about.

He walks down the aisle along with his parents and when his eyes directed in my direction, I smiled and he got shocked because of what I just did. He instantly took away his stare at me and pretended not to see me.

"You looked so strong." Emerson said silently. "Smiling." He added.

I shrugs at him and said "That's the best gift I could give them aside from me being here." I replied.

Then it’s now the turn of the bride to walk. I think she's behind those big grasses on the walls that were covered with plastic flowers. The flowers suit them. I thought.
When everyone stood up, that's the time when she entered and the song changed to wedding march.

Her dress is a ball gown with a revealing deep V-neck. It’s a plunging neckline. What else would she wear aside from that? I mean she's not the type of a girl that would wear a turtle neck as her wedding dress.

I don't know if she saw me but she looked in my direction and smiled? I don't know if it’s a smile or a smirk.

Oh. My. Gosh!

"God, please forgive her for looking like that." Celine said silently, it’s almost a whisper but still I heard it.

"Her back is so bare and her front is a plunging neck line. That is so revealing for a bride." She added.

"I don't know if she's just showing off or what." Tony said.

"She knows you'll be here and make it sure she stands out." Tony added.

"She will still stand out until the end of this event. She's the bride. " I stated and Emerson nodded.

"She's still competing with you." Celine said as we sit.

"There is no competition here. I mean, doesn't she already have Sebastian? She even shoves it on my face." I said, shrugging.

I felt Emerson’s hand as he tries to comfort me silently. I smiled at him.
I'm not even hurting anymore. When we're talking about them, I feel nothing. I think I already moved on. I smiled at myself.
"You're smiling and it’s a sincere smile." Emerson said as he looks at the altar.

I faced him and say "Sincere smile?" I said and he nods. "If that's the case, what smile do you call the smile I did a while ago?" I asked and he grins.

"That's what do you call I'm stronger now smile. " He said and I can't contain my chuckle.

The people near us looked and I apologized for that. "You're crazy. I don't know there are different kinds of smile." I said.

Emerson pov

This girl doesn't know what she's doing to me. I even regret buying her this gown. She looks divine. I know she looks divine whenever I see her but today, she looks like she's a goddess.

I don't know what will happen on our two days stay here but I'm making sure that she'll be with all the time. I don't know how I will say that I like her. You must first clear yourself to her for everything you did.

The bride looks beautiful but still, Love is more beautiful. Tony is right about Megan's dress.

When Love told me that she invited her on their wedding day, I know something will happen. I just don't know what it will be and I hate that I don't know about it.

You need to protect her whatever happens.

It’s now the time for their first kiss as husband and wife and when I look at Love, she's smiling again. I think she still feel betrayed and yet happy for them. Now, I don't know.

I can't contain myself from wrapping my arms around her so I did. She instantly looked at me and put a questioned face and all I can reply is "For a show." I whispered to her. I made it sure that it looks like that I'm kissing her on cheeks.

Love pov

What is happening right now?

He's JUST whispering and yet it feels like he's kissing me. His breathe is like touching depths of heart that causes it to beat faster.

When he went back to his position, he glanced at me and smiled.

"I'll kill you." I said silently.

"I'll visit you when I die." Emerson asked and smiled at me. It's more like a smirk tho.

"No, I'll kill you both if you don't stop being so corny." Tony said as he laughs.
