CHAPTER 57

CHAPTER 57

"Let's go?" I asked Love when we're at the lobby.
She then looked at me questioningly.

"I brought my car, so can we just meet there?" She asked.
Then I gave her my questioning look as well.

"You can give me your key and Jayson will drive it to your home." I said, pointing Jayson using my head.
She look at Jayson, who gave her a nod and a smile.

"Yes, Ms. Gilbert." He said. "I'll be careful with it so you did not need to be worry." He added.
Love chuckled and shook her head. I smiled. "Alright. Take care of my baby, Jayson." She said as she gives him her car key. It has a key chain and her sister's picture.

"Yes, of course." Jayson said as he gets the key and left.

"You're going to drive?" She asked.

"Yes." I replied. When I look at her she looks unsure. "Why? you think I can't drive?" I asked.

He raises her eyebrows and bit’s her lower lip. She looks shy because she thought I couldn't drive.

"Uh.. Be..cause, Jayson is always with you." She said, giving me an awkward smile. She looked away and closed her eyes.
I grinned.

She is really cute.
"I have a driver's license. You want to-." I asked but then stopped because Love interrupted me.

"No. You don't need to. Can we just go?" She said, smiling, walk away and then went outside.
When I followed her, she looks around the street.

"Where's your car?" She asked.

"That one" I said, pointing to my white Bentley. This is the first time she saw that car so she doesn't know about it.

"Oh. Right. Let's go." She said. Then she walked quickly because it’s starting to rain.

I ran to her and cover her head with my hands.

"You don't need to do that." She said.

"I want to." I replied.

I didn't know walking in the rain with her feels good.
I should make rain every day.
I smiled to myself.

When I opened the door to her, she quickly went inside.
I ran around the other of the car so we could go.
When I get inside, she's looking inside her bag and trying to look for something.

"What are you looking for?" I asked.

"Tissue." She said as she continues to look for it. "Finally" She said as she held the tissue high as if it’s a trophy or what.

She gets six plies or more it."Come here. Look at you; you're like a wet chick." She said as she wipes the drops of water on my face and on my arms. She gets another bunch of it and still wipes the remaining of it. She even wiped my hair.

Me? I was stuck there like a freaking statue. I don't even know what to say. Every wipe makes my heart pounds harder and harder.
I look at her as she wipes my arms and she looks worried. I don't know why. Her eyes are full of concern. She's concerned with me but not herself. Her arms, hair and face is also wet from the rain. But she doesn't care less.
I feel like my heart is exploding because of the concern and care she's been giving me.

It’s weird but my heart feels like it’s jumping with joy.
When she felt that I was looking at her, she arranged herself and sat on her side while wiping her face, arms and bag. "Sorry if I caught you off guard." She said, not looking in my direction.

"Look at me." I demanded but she's still not looking at me.

"Really. I'm sorry." She said. "I don't like you getting flu or something." She added.

"Look at me, please?" I pleaded.

Then she slowly looks up at me. Then what I saw is her eyes, sparkling.

Full of concern and other thing. I don't what I'm seeing but I think my feeling for her is getting stronger than before.

"Thank you." I said meeting her eyes.
She smiled.

The atmosphere then became stronger. Our eyes are like stuck in each other's and all we can do is to stare at each other.

"You know, we really need to get going. I'm really hungry." She said to me and that made me back to the reality.

"Y-yes of course." Damn it why am I rumbling.

That moment I felt like really it’s the feelings that would get you in this kind of atmosphere and not your hot against the other opposite.

We are in the middle of the street, trying to surpass the traffic that's ahead of us because it’s raining. We haven't spoken yet since that incident a while ago. It's overwhelming. I'm still repeating the things she did to me. Her smooth hands that touches my face as she wipes the water and those eyes that's full of concern.

I can't help but admire her and smile to myself.
While we're in the traffic, she looked me; I can see it with my peripheral vision.

"Yes?" I ask her.

She sighs. "hmmmm..." Biting her lower lip

"Just say it." I said, reassuring her.

"Do-you-have-an-extra-tshirt-here?" She said, without even breathing.
I laugh. "You didn't even breathe." I said as I turn around and get one of the shirts at the back seat. I always have one in my cars.
"Here" I said. It won't fit her. It'll be like a dress on her.

"Wait for me. Okay." She said. I was going to ask her why when she opened her door, opened her umbrella and walk on the rain.

"Where she's going?" I asked myself.

The rain is getting heavier and I can't leave my car because she asked me to stay so I just look at where she's walking. I followed her with my eyes. I wanted to make sure that she is okay.
She passed by the car on our front and there she was standing at the side of a blue Audi talking to a man.

I alerted myself because I don't know what they're talking about since it’s her back that I'm seeing.

Then the man held her hand and bowing to her. I was about to go out and follow her when she taps the man's shoulder, gave him her umbrella and ran back to the car. She's holding red roses. A bunch of it actually. She continued to run back as she covers her head with the flowers she's holding.

When I look at the man she talked to, I was taken aback, sighs and smile.

She's really something.

The man walks towards the sidewalk with an umbrella while he wipes his eyes. I think he's crying. He's also holding my shirt; turns out Love gave it to him.

The man is selling red roses even though it’s raining and even though he has disability.

The man continued to walk using his sling.
She really touches the man's heart.
And mine...
