CHAPTER 11

Charlotte slowly opened her eyes and awoke in the middle of the night on an island that was still a part of Alabama. She looks around and becomes agitated when she cannot find Alexander or the girl they rescued from the bandits. Venus's projection appeared in front of her once more, and she looked so disappointed.

"Star gazer Venus, I'm glad to see you again!" said Charlotte. "What happened? Why are you sad?"

"I asked for the stars to separate you from Alexander because he is not your fated man, Charlotte!" answered the Star gazer.

Charlotte frowned. "What do you mean? Are you saying that Alexander is not mean for me?"

"Indeed, I want you to know that he kissed you on the lips while you were asleep and no meteor fell from the skies which means he is the the one we are searching for. I know it's hard to accept especially when you already have a feelings for the handsome zodiac warrior!"

"But how is our kingdom? How is my family? Are they still imprisoned? Can you tell me what is happening there, right now?"

"Unfortunately, your kingdom remains in the hands of King Abaddon, and from what I've heard, he also wants to take over King Bartholomeo's kingdom on its 40th anniversary so take care of yourself and no one should know the information I am giving you. As per your family, they are still locked in the prison until this very moment!"

"So what would you like me to do now? where am I going, Star gazer?"

"You need to find your fated man again in this place, we will not stop until we see him."

Charlotte feels the firm voice of the stargazer, yet she is no longer interested to continue her mission. "I'm hesitant to do this anymore. I've gotten too close to Alexander and my heart is too attached to him, if he is not the one we've been looking for, then I should abandon this mission!"

"Charlotte, he's not the one meant for you! Forgive me, but I've erased you from his memory in order to make our mission safe. Maybe, you are disheartened with what I did and you wanted to curse me. I understand your emotion and I believe that you will forgive!"

Tears fell from Charlotte's eyes when she heard this. "I don't want it anymore, maybe it would be better if you erased my memory of him as well!"

"I am sorry, what you're asking is impossible. My power only works on a warrior and not for magician like you, Charlotte." explained Stargazer.

Charlotte drew her katana and yelled at Stargazer. "Then, I would rather die so I can end my suffering."

"I'm begging you not to do it, Charlotte. For the sake of your kingdom and your family, find your fated man! You must not let your emotions prevail over your thoughts!"

Charlotte returned her katana to her waist and sighed. "Alright, I guess I have no right to complain for now, not until I saved my family in the hands of King Abaddon!"

"I am glad that I changed your mind, Charlotte. Learn from this mistake and don't fall in love with another warrior unless he is your fated man. Your emotion can break you apart again so be careful in handling your emotions!" reminds Stargazer."

"I am sorry too, I am too naive and reckless. Perhaps, you have a point Stargazer, I should never let my emotion ruin my mission. By the way, is Alexander the only warrior who forgets me?"

"Yes, I can assure you that since he is the only one who really cares about you. I would like to repeat myself again, don't ever mention your where you came from. And also, don't tell anyone about Alexander, it might put your mission in vain!"

"Marked my words, Stargazer. I know it would be too risky if someone finds out my mission. I will be careful next time and I won't cause any trouble!"

"Fine, you can wander in this place as I don't sense any danger nearby. And it's a good thing to know that you are training really hard to improve your combat skill. That can help you a lot in just in case you face any troubles that come your way!"

"Thank you for the compliment, Stargazer. I am beyond happy to meet Alexander, he was the one who thought me on how to use katana sword. His skills in sword is flawless, I missed him but I have to force myself to forget about him!"

"At least you are trying to move on, and he left you with a legacy that you will carry for the rest of your life. Anyhow, I am about to reach my limit again, I will appear once you met your another possible fated man. Hoping that he's the one we've been looking for!"

"Yes... thank you for visiting me, Stargazer. Please be vigilant and report back anything that is happening in our kingdom, especially to my parents and siblings!"

"I will," Venus' projection disappeared again, Charlotte was scared as she wanders in the dark forest. She then realize the forest is alive, and she is just one small part of it. Inscets are everywhere, animals roving around, making noises, the wind, water, all contribute to a quiet roar that surrounds her. The suddenly, silence filed the area and she can hear her own heart, breathing, right along with the happenings in the forest. Wind, water, animals all are doing stuff, and she's right there, part of it, fragile.

She reminisces her memories with Alexander and put smile on her face. Not too long, she came to a house made of wood in the middle of the forest. She bravely knocked on the door and a male warrior opened it for her. His eyes are a bit narrow and he has a masculine body that Charlotte found attractive, although he is not as handsome as Alexander. He smiled when he saw Charlotte.
