CHAPTER 25

"Then I will not force you, but we have to attend the 40th anniversary of Alabama. That very special occasion is something we all eagerly anticipate celebrating, and guess what? Based on what I remembered from what Prince Arthur said, guests from other planets are also arriving.

"No, I am not coming, Ammon!" Charlotte refused.

"And why is that? This occasion is meant to be celebrated in the Alabama Kingdom and not in this house!"

"I am well aware of that, but I have anxiety in crowded places, so I won't go there!"

"How about those idiots who are chasing you? What if they come here to harm you?"

"That's the main reason why I wanted to get stronger. If they wanted to attack me during the 40th anniversary in this house, at least I know how to defend myself."

"No, maybe there is more to that explanation. Why do I feel you are hiding something from me, Charlotte? You have been acting so strange since I've come here. I can't fully trust someone even if they look so innocent in my eyes."

"Are we going to fight over trivial matters? If you don't trust me enough, then why not kick me in your house? Just say a word and I will leave this place at once!"

"Out of the question. Why are you so angry all of a sudden? Is it too much if I doubt your actions? Because seriously, I can't stop myself from thinking you are hiding something from me. Come on, Charlotte. Spit it out already, you can trust me with your secrets."

"I told you, I have none! Those who are chasing me probably mistake me for some other warrioress."

Ammon made his way to the door. "Fine, let us forget about this quarrel and let's practice outside. After that, let us buy new clothes and take a bath in a nearby river."

Charlotte followed him and they practiced again in the backyard of his house. Ammon put his arms on his back and strolled in front of Charlotte.

"The moment you hit me with your katana, you will be declared the winner, and we will stop practicing. So do you have any objections?"

Charlotte did not respond. Instead, she simply nodded her head as if to say no. She drew her katana and held it with her two hands while concentrating.

Ammon only used his digger knife and closed his eyes. "Come on, Charlotte. Attack me with everything you've got!"

Charlotte did everything she could to hit Ammon, but despite her best efforts, she was unable to do so until she became exhausted and took some time to rest.

"What's the matter? You have low stamina today. Perhaps you exhausted your energy when you climbed a tree."

"Look, you closed your eyes and I still couldn't beat you. Maybe we should do a different kind of training. What do you think?"

"There is a dangerous place here in Elshor where wild beasts live. If you want, we can go there to practice."

"Would you like to say that I must kill wild animals?"

"Exactly, you have nothing to worry about. I am not going to abandon you alone, although I anticipated that those wild beasts are incredibly strong as well. Not to mention that some of them were poisonous as well. Like the giant scorpion, one bite of that and you will surely die. But there are some herbals that you can use just in case you get stung."

Charlotte was so comfortable with Ammon and she trusted him with all her heart. "Wow, that sounds a little bit scary. I wanted to go there with you. However, I wish to battle against wild animals that don't have poison."

"Sure, maybe you can fight a leopard or a tiger. Anyway, let us go!"

They headed to the cavern cave, which is located at the dead end of Elshor Island. The so-called place was surrounded by many trees. There were plenty of fruits and vegetables in that area, but no signs that any warriors had been there recently.

"I wonder how many warriors knew this place; it's well hidden, and this part of Elshor is rich with vegetation."

"No, as a matter of fact, this place is not that popular in Alabama. Only a small number of warriors have attempted to visit it thus far, and the majority of them have died without reaching this place. We are lucky enough that we got here safe and sound."

A leopard suddenly appeared at the back of Ammon, and it launched a fierce attack on the zodiac warrior. Fortunately, Charlotte quickly drew her sword and cut it in half. The blood of the leopard splattered on her face, yet she did not mind it.

"I am impressed at how you managed to see it coming, Charlotte. That leopard is greedy and it will hunt anything that it can get its deadly paws on."

"In fact, your footsteps resembled those of a leopard, so don't claim that you were unaware of its obvious footsteps."

"I knew it was coming, but I still planned to let my guard down so you could protect me—how that's much I trust you!"

"I am speechless. Thanks a lot for trusting a weakling like me."

Five more enormous tigers circled them and roared as they displayed their canines. Charlotte was violently trembling as she held Ammon by the shoulder.

"Why did we not feel their presence before?" she asked in shock. "Are there many of them?"

"As I mentioned earlier, this place is extremely dangerous. These beasts that are circling us right now probably sense our presence from afar. Be careful not to get bitten by any of them. One bite in the neck will surely kill you in a matter of seconds."

"Now I fully understand why many warriors don't want to be in this place. We should run to escape."

Ammon drew his zodiac sword, and in a split second, he severed the tigers' heads. He then wiped the blood off his sword before re-scabbarding it.

"You are way stronger than before, Ammon. I am so speechless with your skills."

Ammon gazed at Charlotte, and his eyes looked so sad. "Still, that is not enough to defeat powerful enemies like werewolves. They are way stronger than any of the wild animals on this f*cking planet. I might be able to kill any of these wild animals at once, but defeating a werewolf is a different story."

They kept on practicing until Charlotte became so tired that she could barely walk. Ammon then carried her on his back. They both sustained physical wounds, particularly Charlotte, who wasn't used to fighting.

"I'm sorry, I know you're tired as well, Ammon. Are we still going to the Alabama market?"

"Of course, I wanna buy you some clothes. You haven't changed since we met. It is also stained with blood, so you should wear another one!"

"Thank you for your unending kindness to me, Ammon." Charlotte stared at Ammon. It was awkward, and Ammon was uncomfortable with the way she looked at him.

"What is wrong, Charlotte? Why are you staring at me like that?" the red-faced warrior asked.

"Nothing, I just realized that your serious face makes you look more handsome."

"I will take that as a compliment. Hold on tight, we need to reach the Alabama market as soon as possible.

Ammon sprinted as quickly as he could while Charlotte tightly gripped his shoulder. When they reached the Alabama Market, Ammon let go of Charlotte. They didn't waste any time getting new armor and some fruits before heading to a nearby river with their new clothing.

"Charlotte, I think you should take a bath first," said Ammon. "The water is warm, you won't get cold!"

"No, I prefer to take a bath with you. Please join me, Ammon!" pleaded Charlotte. "Don't worry, we can just take a bath without facing each other. I know you felt so awkward taking a bath with me. However, there is a solution to that problem!"

"Okay fine, but let me go first!"

Charlotte grinned. "No problem," she said, turning back. Ammon took off his clothes and went to the river. He faced the other direction so Charlotte could take off her clothes and take a bath in the river. She walked towards Ammon, and they leaned against each other's backs.

"You are right, Ammon. The water is warm and this place is peaceful. But it feels sad at the same time. Seeing no warriors wandering about makes this place a dead place. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Indeed! This place became hunted because there were many dangerous animals here compared to Alabama's capital. Who knows, if this place became popular, all it would take is for gossipers to see it and spread the word to the warriors who live nearby. I am confident this place will undoubtedly be hailed as one of the best places Alabama has to offer."

"That's what we're both looking forward to happening." Charlotte turned around and hugged his back. "I think I am beginning to like you, Ammon, and it's okay if you don't like me!"

Ammon could feel her tits squeezing his back and it made him hard. "W-What... are you d-doing Charlotte? I could feel your breasts rubbing against my back."

"As I said, I am beginning to like you, Ammon. If you want, you can take my virginity."

"I-I'm surprised, why do you want to do that?"

"Do I have to spell it out for you?"

"Sorry, I don't want to!"

"Please, take my virginity and do whatever you want with me. I will be more than happy to give it to someone who has shown me kindness and care."
