CHAPTER 18

As Prince Arthur opened the door, 12 warrioress dressed in trousers riding destrier horses appeared before him, and it seemed they expected his arrival. They covered their skin with tattoos, and they were stunned to see the handsome face of their prince and greeted him.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Prince Arthur!" they said after they bowed their heads.

Prince Arthur rolled his eyes at all of them and asked a question. "Likewise, are you the Amazonians my father is talking about?"

One of them spoke and introduced herself. "I am Mila, the leader of the twelve Amazonians, my Prince... I used bows, swords, but my greatest weapon is my mind!"

"I see... Mila, and the rest of you, follow me to the frozen cave stream. We will waste no time and practice to see for myself how strong all of you are!"

Prince Arthur walked towards the backyard of the Kingdom and the 12 Amazonians followed him until they arrived at the frozen cave stream that was covered by thick fog that the sun's light couldn't touch the ground. He drew his Tizona sword and waved it sideways.

The thick fog had been blown away, then Prince Arthur returned his Tizona to his scabbard and faced the Amazonians. "This place is well-hidden by thick fog 'cause this is the place where me and my zodiac warriors do our practice. And so, before we start our training, let us clear one thing up: you will be assigned to guard all routes leading to the Kingdom. If you notice any suspicious activities or individuals, one of you should report back to me immediately-"

Mila interrupted Prince Arthur. "Prince Arthur, the King has already instructed us what to do, I think it's unnecessary to repeat the instruction once again!"

Prince Arthur felt his mouth grimace but worked not to show his annoyance too strongly. "I see. So, is there anything you want to address? Any concerns or violent reactions? You can ask me anything under the sun!"

"None, Prince Arthur... although it's inappropriate if the rest of my group don't introduce themselves!"

Then the Amazonian beside Astoria talked after her, whose muscles were so tense that they wanted to rip off her clothes. "Bellatrix, at your service, Prince Arthur... sledgehammer is my preferred tool, but I also have some knife diggers!"

"Brienne here, I used a simple katana sword, Prince Arthur. And it's been a dream of mine to practice with you," She wished.

Prince Arthur sighed. "We can do that after the 40th anniversary, Brienne. Next please!"

"That is great to hear," said Prince Arthur.

"Brienne is my name, and I used a two-bladed sword as my weapon. I know how to use a katana as well, but I prefer a two-bladed sword. "

Prince Arthur realized that Brienne was the most beautiful of all of them. Then, seconds before the last Amazonian spoke. "I am Catelyn, kenkonken is what I used in fighting. I can also do hand-to-hand combat as well, Prince Arthur!"

And last but surely not the least. "Elora at your service Prince Arthur, I used two lance swords to fight. I am also a magician who can heal wounds. "

The Amazonians were stunned to hear what the Prince had just said. He touched the ground with his palm and a green magical circle appeared. "I summon the greatest dark Phoenix. Come forth!" The great dark Phoenix descended from the skies and landed behind Prince Arthur, and the ground shook the moment Phoenix's feet touched the ground.

"Wh-what is that creature? A bird that looks like an eagle?" asked Elora.

Prince Arthur stood up and began to explain. "That creature at my back was a legendary Phoenix in the Celestial spirit world, regarded as one of the legendary creatures.
