CHAPTER 36

Odin was about to leave when Charlotte called him.

"Wait a second, I'd like to go to the river; can you accompany me?"

He gently curled her lips into a smile and responded. "Yes sure. I would like to take a bath as well!"

"If you want to take a bath, then keep your distance from me. I prefer to be alone!"

He didn't dare to utter a single complaint. "That is totally fine with me. However, try not to get out of my sight. Your Zodiac lover would surely kill me if something bad happened to you!"

Charlotte took another half step forward. "Worry not, the enemies were focused on invading Alabama. They would never contemplate killing a warrioress like me!"

"Still, we cannot be confident and let our guard down. The enemies know this place!"

They made their way to the river, where Charlotte and Ammon used to bathe together.

"I'll go first," Odin said. "I need to make sure the water is safe and that there are no monsters hiding beneath the surface."

Odin quickly took off his clothes, not minding if Charlotte would see him naked. Her cheeks flushed red as she saw his manhood before she could cover her face with her hands. She became enraged and chastised him.

"What the hell? Why take your clothes in front of a woman? That's kinda perverted, don't you think?"

"Sorry, I'm used to doing that. As a matter of fact, I don't even mind if you see my manhood."

Charlotte kept her face covered. "Just tell me if you are already in the middle of the river, and don't dare sneak a glance once I'm naked."

"Fine, but just keep talking or doing something; there's nothing to worry about as long as I sense your presence."

"Yes, and because you asked a favor a while ago, I think it would be unfair if I didn't ask a favor as well," Charlotte begs.

"And what is that?" Odin wondered as he moved toward the middle of the river.

"Don't tell Ammon that I take a bath with you. He'll be furious if he sees another warrior with me. Let us not cause another issue. Ammon has more important things to deal with, and I don't want to be a burden to him any longer."

"You made the right decision. Out of curiosity, how do you meet each other?"

Charlotte stripped naked and walked down the river. She leaned on his back before answering his question. "Truly I tell you, I was on a mission with another Zodiac warrior named Alexander when suddenly, tremendous rain poured from the skies, separating me from him."

Odin was taken aback by her revelation. "Does that imply you had a romantic relationship with him?"

"Not exactly. Although he was nice like Ammon, I can still remember how he saved me from the hands of a perverted man who intended to take advantage of me. Only if I could turn back time, I would still choose him over Ammon."

Odin's face was crooked. "Geez, that's why I hate being compared to another warrior. But you know, I feel so sorry for Ammon; he might already have feelings for you. Still, we can't control our hearts."

"Indeed, we can both agree on that one. However, he is about to get married to Isabella, whom he has never loved."

"I see, so that's why you seemed so unhappy earlier. I mean, I would not blame you if you wanted to return to him. But it's immoral to ruin his wedding. From what I have heard, Isabella is pregnant with Alexander."

"You're right, moving on is the only way out, and I feel so bad for deceiving Ammon about my genuine feelings."

"So he's just a rebound after all, and you will leave him soon once you find another warrior to love?"

Charlotte remembered that she saw her fated man in her dreams, protecting her from King Abaddon. "No, above anything else, I have a more important mission to accomplish. May I ask what is your zodiac sign?"

"My zodiac sign is Libra. Why did you ask about that?"

"As I said, I have an important mission to accomplish. I have to find my fated man and save my parents from the hands of-"

"What do you mean, fated man?" interrupts Odin.

Out of desperation to save her parents, Charlotte hugged Odin's back. "Odin, I am scared of King Abaddon, so I am permitting you to kiss my lips. I just want to know if you are my fated man."

Odin sensed Charlotte purposefully rubbing her breast against his back. However, he wanted to fight the temptation as he was afraid of Ammon and Prince Arthur's punishment. "I am a pervert but stealing another warrior's lover is not right. What if he finds out about this?"

Charlotte did not give up and continued seducing Odin, touching his chest while squeezing her bo*bs at his back. "You've said it yourself earlier, Ammon isn't going back home. We can have a sexual relationship, don't you want that?"

"No, I admit that you are a beautiful warrioress and you captured my heart the moment I saw you earlier. Please do not try to seduce me; all I want is to protect you!"

"Then consider my kiss as a token of appreciation. If you don't want to accept my offer, then you might as well leave this place at once."

"Tell me the exact reason why you want to betray the warrior who trusted you and gave you shelter?"

"He refused to kiss me even once. I tried several times, but he told me he respected me."

"Well, you remind me of my ex-lover, who died at the hands of the magician. She was wild. Whenever we met, she would always kiss my lips, even in public, and initiate me to f*ck her. I asked her not to repeat such things, yet she continued anyway. The thing is, I am wilder than her when we are alone. To tell you the truth, I already have a significant other, but our relationship is going down in flames."

"Don't worry, she will never find out about this! Come on, I no longer feel awkward the moment I saw you naked earlier. Although, don't you think that I have feelings for you? Again, the only thing I want to find out is whether you are my fated man or not!"

Odin slowly turned around and saw Charlotte naked. In spite of being in the cold river, his forehead was glistening with sweat, and his heart was beating fast. His eyes widened the moment Charlotte pulled his head to kiss him. He stopped for a while and faced her.

"You don't know how to kiss, Charlotte. Is this your first time?" asked Odin.

"Sorry, I haven't kissed anyone before. This is my first time."

Odin found himself desiring her. "Alright, kissing is just simple, and you can learn how to do it naturally. Let me do it first and try to imitate how my lips moved!"

Charlotte tilted her lips to smile. She closed her eyes, and Odin kissed her. It was a pleasurable feeling for her. Odin got carried away and lifted her with his two hands.

Odin paused for a while to ask her again. "F*ck, you are a fast learner, Charlotte. I really like kissing your red lips. Do you feel the same?"

Charlotte looked at the skies and saw no meteors, causing her to frown in dismay. "No way, you are not my fated man either!" she said while her eyes glued to the skies.

Odin knitted his forehead in annoyance. "You are getting weird, Charlotte. You've been saying strange things now, what's up with you?"

She sobered up and sighed. "I have to save my family, they are in great danger. Please save them, Odin. I begged you!"

Odin wiped her tears with his hand. "It's terrible to see a lovely woman like you cry."

"Sorry, I'm getting paranoid about the situation in my family. Unfortunately, there is no other way to save them except to find my fated man."

"Can we talk about that later? I will help you as long as we are done doing this!"

"I'm not into this, Odin. All I want is to save my family!"

"No, you provoked me to have sex with you, and now you don't want to do it? Come on, Charlotte, it's been a long time since I f*cked a warrioress."

Odin carried her and laid her down. He parted her legs and discovered she was still a virgin. "How can this be? I thought you were having sex with Ammon in his house."

"Did I not tell you? That Zodiac warrior has refused to kiss my lips! Now that I am running out of time, I have no other choice but to find another warrior."

Odin grinned. "If your mission involves things like this, then I am more than happy to accomplish it. However, since you are a virgin, I guess you have zero knowledge when it comes to sex. I'm gonna make your first experience unforgettable."

Charlotte was depressed as she was trying to shove away the negative thoughts in her head. Odin could see her in deep distress.
