Chapter 330 Take Good Care of Demarion
Beau's brows were tightly furrowed.
That guide had dragged the trash can back to the western zone of the city.
If he was not mistaken, Demarion was found in a garbage dump near the police station in the western area of the city!
He raised his head and stared angrily at Noah. "Since you saw him dragging the trash can back to the western part of the city, why didn't you say so earlier?!"
Noah was stunned by Beau.
He stared blankly at Beau's face. "I..."
"I don't think it's necessary..."
The guide he looked for was a poor person on the west side of the city.
When Noah's men had found them, they were picking up trash everywhere.
This group of people didn't have a lot of skills. The only skill they had was that they were familiar with the forest in the east of the city and had experience in the wild adventure.
But in the city, they could only pick up trash everywhere like homeless men.
Before, when Noah saw the guide dragging the trash can while picking up the garbage on the road and stuffing it into the trash can, he still felt very pitiful.
Therefore, he didn't think that the guide had something to do with Demarion's disappearance.
Now, after being scolded by Beau, Noah slapped his forehead. "That's right!"
When they were in the forest, the guide was the only one there other than the people from the K group.
This guide lived in the west part of the city and he last showed up in the west part of the city too. After Demarion fainted, he found the guide again in the west part of the city.
This guide liked to pick up rubbish, and Demarion was found next to the trash can!
With so many coincidences, Noah finally figured it out, "So, Mr. Valentine, you mean that Demarion was taken to the west of the city by this guide that day?"
"That makes sense!"
"Should I go look for this guide now and arrest him?"
Eliza frowned and coldly rolled her eyes at Noah. "He probably had run away, hadn't he?"
Noah was stunned. Just as he was about to say something, Beau frowned and said, "No."
He gently rubbed the space between his eyebrows with one hand. "If this guide is from the K Group and familiar with everything in Krine, then he wouldn't have left easily before Leah left Krine."
At the very least, he had to stay here and continue to look after Leah.
"Should I go and catch him now?"
Noah raised his eyes in pleasant surprise and asked.
Beau lightly narrowed his eyes. After hesitating for a moment, he smiled and said, "Of course you will need to hunt him down."
"However, if we want to catch him without anyone knowing, it's best if we don't let Leah find out."
After that, he turned to look at Eliza. "Can you still get in touch with that friend of yours who is good at make-up?"
Eliza was stunned. She did not understand why he would suddenly ask this question, but she nodded seriously. "Of course."
"Contact him. We have something big for him to do."
...
Early the next morning.
Eliza stared at the two dark circles around her eyes and carried the thermos to the hospital.
She sighed and went to the ward. She opened the thermos in front of Demarion's bed. "Although I didn't want you to leave, your daddy said that he had promised Dr. James and signed the agreement."
"A man of honor never goes back on his words. Your daddy has to keep his words. You might have to suffer a little."
The young boy on the bed looked a little unhappy.
He looked up at Eliza's face with tears in his eyes. "Can I not go?"
"Be good."
Eliza sniffed. She wanted to say something, but tears began to fall first.
She passed the bowl to the little fellow and sighed. "I have given birth to you for more than five years."
"It took me a lot of effort to reconnect with you, but now I have to separate from you again."
"But... for your health, I'm willing to give up something."
"Enjoy this meal. Dr. James will come to pick you up later..."
"... Okay."
On the sickbed, the little fellow wiped his tears, took the porridge, and drank it gently.
Outside the ward.
Leah smiled coldly as he looked at Eliza and the little fellow behind the door. A cold and cruel smile appeared at the corners of her lips.
They kept saying that she was a bad person and they were unwilling to part with the child. But now, didn't they still have to agree to her request obediently?
If she had known that Beau and Eliza were so easy to deal with, she would not have only signed a year's of agreement with them.
Demarion was a match they had found with great difficulty. They would need to use him for at least a few more years so that they would not be at a loss, right?
"Dr. James."
She left the ward. As soon as she reached the stairway, her cell phone rang.
It was Cedric.
Cedric and his three brothers were K's spies who had been placed in Krine.
They were all well-trained killers. In order to cover up the truth, they could only pretend to be scavengers.
It was possible that many years of experience as a vagrant had caused them to lose their ability to fight. Cedric's three brothers were actually unable to defeat Elias. Instead, they were killed by Elias and hung in the forest.
All of a sudden, Cedric became a lonely man.
As she took Demarion abroad this time, Cedric also had to go back to the organization to report his duty.
"Did you apply for the flight path?"
"Yes."
On the other end of the phone, Cedric's voice was very low, with a little nasal sound. "Everything is ready. Our flight is at nine o'clock this morning, and it's eight o'clock now. You should depart with that little b*stard now."
"I'm waiting across the street in a second-hand van."
Leah rolled her eyes.
A second-hand van?
Did he pick it up from somewhere again?
Just like her, Cedric was also trained by the organization.
However, Leah really couldn't stand Cedric, who was sloppy.
She snorted. "I won't take your car. I'll take a taxi later."
"It's not that I look down on you. It's just that the smell of your car is not too pleasant. I'm afraid that Demarion, a child who has just woken up after being unconscious for a long time, can't stand it."
The man on the other end of the line gave a cold snort. "He's almost dying but still so petulant."
"Who is almost dying?"
Leah raised her eyebrows and cursed at Cedric, "Do you know what Demarion means to K?"
"He's almost dying?"
"If Demarion's life is gone, that man can't survive either. If that man can't survive, do you think K will go crazy and cut you into pieces?"
Her words made Cedric silent on the other side of the phone.
After a long while, he responded with a dull voice,
"It's my mistake."
"It's good that you know your mistakes. Take good care of Demarion all the way!"
After that, she hung up the call coldly.
On the road across the hospital, a second-hand van was quietly parked there.
The man in the car coldly hung up the call, glanced at his unfamiliar face in the rearview mirror, and raised his lips.
