Chapter Thirteen

“Mom! Mom!! Is that you?” I kept on calling my mom but she wasn't answering where she was going. I thought so I followed her, and after a while, I saw my father and I ran towards them but the more I ran towards them the farther they were from me, I was frustrated so I called it off and stopped for a while.

And listened to them, “What? Are you pregnant? I told you, I couldn't marry you, it'll alter my chance of being an Alpha, don't you understand my dream would die and I would live forever in regrets, you should get rid of it right now.” My father said, “no I won't, he's our product and I'm going to give birth to him, I'm not asking you to take him into your home just be his father and I'll take care of him myself. Just acknowledge the pregnancy please.” my mother said, but my father wasn't even listening to her, and she kept on crying.

“Is that my mom?” I said to myself as I saw her looking all ugly and dusted with a baby in her arms. “Who got you pregnant?’ you never gave me an answer and now you're here with a shameless baby in your arms? I would make sure to kill you and the baby if you don't pack your things and move out of my house, you disgraceful little thing.

An old man said, “What's going on?” I thought to myself as I couldn't see any of that again and all I could see was my mom on her knees In Front of my father. “So what do you want me to do now? Take the baby or take you in as my wife?” He said as he angrily pushed my mom backward.” And I was standing there. “Go stay outside,” she said, and I ran off.

I could remember well it was after this place in my life that I was told my mom was dead and I started living with my mom. “I'm the Alpha now and Luna” 's family is the biggest of our pack. If they go against me, I would lose my position and everything would be back to the beginning. I can't do what you're asking me?” My father said, as he blatantly refused to take me in. And my mother drew a sword and killed herself on the spot. That was how my mother died, so I was a forbidden child, and that was why my stepmom would always treat me like trash up until my dad died, I took over so that was why I was always not treated like the Alpha's son.

The truth about my life was shown to me, but how did I relive all these experiences? Why are all these things being shown to me? Was I dreaming?” I said, out loud, “No! You're not dreaming, that's the power of a god, I can alter timelines and patch up memories, that's how your mother died and I've shown you how superior I am to you.

And now you're scared of the fact that nobody would accept you, that's the only thing you fear and now I'm in control of your life. Now tell me am I not a god?” The old man said, and I switched back to my reality so everything was true. How did he have such wonderful power, who is he exactly and what is he doing here? “If you're truly a god why don't you try killing one of us? You can't because you're just a skilled wizard.” I said, and they all laughed, Marcus was standing there with a devastating look and that was how I knew he was shown something he should not have seen.

“Look to your right,” the man said and I looked, I could see one of my men with blood coming out of his nose, eyes, and ears. And I shuddered in fear, “Who are you people?” And why are you doing these to us?” I said.

“How many times will I tell you that we are gods, we are class apart from you guys, and that's why we are going to create a world of ours. And build a world where peace would reign forever and every pack wouldn't have to fight anymore,” he said.

And I didn't understand what to say anymore. “So why are you taking all our maidens?” I said that's the sacrifice you have to make for us giving you what we have.

BLAIR'S POV

We've been here for several days and I don't know what to think, is it possible there's someone who would be able to save us? A lot was running through my mind and I needed to clear it out but I was scared, the girl that was there never came back but I didn't know who was next or what to do!

What can we do? I thought far and wide but nothing came to me, is this how my life was going to end without purpose? I haven't fulfilled what I should have and here I am living a life because of the curse, maybe I should have just died back then, maybe I would have saved everyone from this pain and punishment. I thought to myself, maybe this is the punishment I have to go through, everything from here would go on to be as the goddess wishes and I wouldn't do anything against it anymore.

“You guys should get down, we have to go now.” Someone said, as he took off the rope used to tie my hands, the place was dark but I could follow his voice. “Who are you?” I asked, but I had to run away. I kept on running and running till I fell unconscious and I wondered if that was how I was just going to die, maybe I was destined to die this way, I thought as my eyes closed and I lost consciousness.
