Chapter Six

BLAIR'S POV

I looked at him, he had a very calm tone and eyes, I couldn’t speak as I was melted by his calmness as he spoke to me. “Who are you?” I asked gently “I’m Marcus the Alpha’s cousin and who are you?” he replied.

“I’m Blair from the Crescent moon pack, I was brought here as a slave.” I said, and I could feel the pity in his eyes, “I’m sorry for that, but is that why you’re crying?” he asked.

“My life is really complicated and I don’t even know how to explain it right now, my whole life is in shambles because of the curse I have that is disturbing me and now I'm left chasing shadows after a clan that doesn’t want me anymore,” I said.

“I don’t understand, can you please explain better.” He said, “It’s better you don’t stress yourself and just let me be, so you won’t be affected by my misfortune.” I said, as I stood up and ran away from him.
But misfortune had its way of meeting up with me, “where are you going to?” Olivia, Alpha Luther’s Luna to be said, as I bumped into her. “I’m sorry, I was rushing to go take my bath. I didn't know you were there.” I said, and she pulled me by my hair “Who do you think you are? Why would you be running in my home, and you’re saying you were rushing to take your bath? Do you even know how much what I’m putting on is worth?

You worthless piece of shit. Find your class and stay in it, you’re a slave and you will remain a slave forever, know that and know peace.” She said, and I didn’t know what I did wrong to get battered with words up to this extent. I was in pain and was crying heavily.

“Why are you tormenting the poor girl?” Marcus says, as he frees me from Olivia, “Didn’t you see she bumped into me?” Olivia replied with a strong tone, “You had better let the girl be. I was here all through and she didn’t do anything to you, you’re just bent on dealing with her and it’s bad. Please just let go and let her be.” Marcus said,

“You should mind your business, she's my slave as much as she is to Luther so let me deal with her for disrespecting me.” Olivia said, “You don't have the right to just let her go,” Marcus said, as she left me and walked away in anger and I was left crying. “Sorry she was just trying to be a bitch, just go on and do whatever you want to do.” He said, as he let go of my arm and started walking away. “Thank you so much, I really appreciate it,” I said as I looked at him going away.

OLIVIA'S POV

“Who does Marcus think he is? He thinks he owns this place so that he can control me anyhow? I would show him that I'm going to be the next Lunar of the Blood Moon pack, and he's not the Alpha.”
I thought as I left the room in search of Luther.

“Where can he be at this time of the day?” I thought to myself as I could not find him in the room. “ Arielle! Arielle!!” I called out to the maid in anger, “Have you seen Luther?” I asked when she finally came around. “No, I haven't, ma.” She said and I kept on wondering where he could have gone, he wasn't used to going out in the afternoon and it was hot.

I walked around and on getting to the garden I finally met him coming back in. “Beloved, I've been looking for you all day,” I said,
“I was out hunting, What's wrong you look unhappy?” He asked, I was glad he noticed himself.
“I don't want to talk about it,” I said, with a gloomy face trying to make tears form in my eyes.
“What’s wrong, talk to me.” He said,

“It's your slave, the one you told me you guys are fated to be mates with but you rejected her, she intentionally taunted me stepped on me, and even almost slapped me when I was telling her what she did was wrong. And your cousin wouldn't allow me to do anything to her back.” I said, adding fire to the whole story.

“What!! How dare that I'll fated bitch do that to you? I would do something about it, I'm sorry and I would talk to Marcus, they have to respect you as the next Lunar. Don't worry I'll handle it.” He said and I was very happy.

“No, you don't have to do anything about it, that'll make me look like a bad person. Just leave them be.” I said.

“No I wouldn't she disrespected you, I would have to make her pay for that. Who does she think she is, she was something at the Crescent Moon pack, this is the Blood Moon pack, we have rules here and she dared not break my orders.” Luther said, and that clinched it, I could feel him boiling already and it made me feel happy.

“Thank you for fighting on my behalf but temper justice with mercy, so they won't say we treat our slaves poorly.” I said, “You're very considerate, and that's why I would rather have you beside me instead of that Ill-fated bitch.” Luther said, and I smiled softly.

“Thank you for the compliment, I'm also glad I'm able to be in your life. Thank you for all you do for me. I would surely be the best Luna to stay by your side.” I said, as I saw him smile and walk inside I was enjoying the view, and my mission was done, I would rather do everything to eliminate her than let that fate bring her back to him.
