Chapter 13:- Allowing her to see another side of me
Ever since she has been here, my bed had become very uncomfortable nor could I get a good night's sleep. I wanted Avery beside me and too couldn't stop thinking about her.
I pulled my hair, frustrated as hell. It was already morning and I didn't sleep at all last night.
Every turned I made on my king-size men, I kept thinking about my young mate.
Removing myself from my bed.
I went into the bathroom taking a quick shower. I dried myself and went into my drawer for a pair of clothes. Black, I thought of wearing today. My favorite color. Opening my draw, I stood still holding on to a shirt, similar to the one I gave her last night.
I wished I was that shirt, clinging tightly to her sexy body, I thought.
I shook my head, trying hard to not receive an erection right now.
I quickly put on the shirt and went for black sweat pants.
Exiting my room; heading downstairs, for some breakfast.
Suddenly, I stopped. Seeing Avery leaving her room with Ivy.
The shirt I kindly gave her was torn up; allowing me to see her bare body.
She stood still staring at me; knowing what she had done. She destroyed my good T-shirt.
I stared at her wondering why the hell she did that.
She lowers herself down to the floor, still terrified by me.
“Get up,” said Ivy.
I took a glance at Ivy; allowing her to remember our short conversation last night. She lowers her head, threatens by me.
“Good morning sir,” Ivy raised her head and greeted me.
“Morning,” I greeted her. While I stared at my beautiful Avery.
My eyes widen, surprisingly as I saw her hid her face within her knees. I hated seeing my mate, especially my Luna behaving in such foolish ways.
Curious about what had happened to my shirt she had on; I had to ask. Wanting her to answer me, but instead, Ivy did.
“You can't carry a stray animal within this house and expect them to appreciate good things given to them,” she said.
I wanted to tell her to shut the fuck up and go downstairs to get my mate and I breakfast ready, but if I had done so. Avery would have surely gotten a heart attack hearing me raised my voice, just by seeing the state she was in.
I started to felt great anger within me seeing her sitting on the floor, like a scared cat.
“Get up!” I said to her.
She jumped up quickly; staring into my dark eyes.
I bit my tongue within my mouth; hating what I just did. I was so angry I couldn't put Ivy in her place. I didn't know I shouted at my babe.
Seeing how badly ruin the clothes she was in and remembering the ugly dress whoever has her to wear. I again remembered what I had planned today for her.
“She can't work here looking like garbage, I said. She needs clothes.”
I was not going to make my Luna go around looking like she had no one. She had me now and I will protect her no matter what.
“Inform Vanessa to lend her a pair of her clothes and when they are finished. I want them to visit me in the study room.” I told Ivy while I went off downstairs.
Lately, I found myself not wanting to eat, and so I only drank a cup of coffee
and went into my study room right away waiting on them.
I heard the door knock.
“Come in,” I told them.
“Good morning sir,” Vanessa greeted me; as she came in.
“Morning,” I greeted her until my eyes froze at the beauty beside her.
Avery was within a tight light link dress; that showed every curve of her.
I loved the dress. Suddenly I felt anger within me. I wanted to take it off right away. I was the only man to see her voluptuous body. Thoughts ran through my mind seeing her outside the house and strange men hitting after her sexy body. I lower my hand to my leg behind the desk and made it into a first.
Why Vanessa had to give her that dress to wear? I thought even angrier.
I hated it and I too hated that I had to sit and pretend that I had no issue with it. No one knew she was my mate nor was I ready to let them know.
My eyes could not move from her. I loved seeing her. She was like a perfect picture and too had the beauty every woman wanted. She was perfect.
Hating that I was staring at her; Avery lowers her head down, shyly.
I wanted to smile but didn't want Vanessa to figure I had feelings for her.
I quickly got into my drawer and took out some cash giving it to Vanessa.
“Carry Avery to purchase some clothes, comfortable ones she can walk around in,” I told her.
Vanessa took the cash from me and leave; while my mate followed her.
I wanted to stop them and instructed her to purchase clothes that didn't reveal her body too much or else I surely will be finding myself getting into fight regular.
My mate was now on the road to get new clothes and I on the other hand had to leave. Since she had been here I had been distracted in finding my brother's murderer. I had sent some good trackers to get me some information as to who did it. I had instructed them to never visit my home. Today I had met them; hopefully. They will gain some useful information that can somehow help me.
I quickly change into a suit; before leaving and went off, for business. Into the town.
“Sir,” I heard someone called me from behind. I turned around and there I saw it was one of my trackers.
“Follow me,” I ordered him.
Soon we were at a secret spot away from the crowd.
“What have you found?” I asked him.
“Nothing about who kill your brother, but someone told me, the white hair female who you now have as a prisoner is one of your brother pack members, probably the only one who survived and,” he said lowering his head.
“What!” I shouted at him.
“She could be the murderer,” he said.
I hold him by his neck; about to break it.
“I'm sorry sir,” he cried out.
I pushed him to the ground and shouted at him to leave.
“How dare he says such a thing about Avery,” I thought.
Knowing Avery for such a short time I knew she was no murderer. Even though I believe she was truly a member of his pack.
I squeeze my hands into a fist; trying to forget what that shit had said.
There was no way she could kill my brother.
Not being able to stop thinking about what he said. I wanted to see Avery right now.
I moved from the spot I was and walked in search of her within the town and there I saw my mate alone in trouble; within a beautiful long blue dress.
