Chapter 21: Taking my mate brutal punishment

A dark cloud of silence covered us. As my two men stood behind me, surprised that their alpha now had a Luna. Alexander's green eyes lighten with anger and his two hands squeezed tightly into a fist.

“Where is she!” he shouted angrily.

“Remember your rule Liam,” he again spoke to me angrily.

I continued to stare at the furious alpha before me and answered him softly.

“That's why I'm here,” I spoke.

Alexander widens his eyes, surprisingly, and then gave off a weird smile. I felt my wolf within me growled; knowing his smile was something not good.

Suddenly I saw a dozen of his pack members heading towards him. They were all men and too look strong, but not enough to challenge me in any battle.

I watched them as they all stand behind me, preparing for any conflict that could occur.

I heard my two men behind me growled at them. I stretched out my hand from aside, telling them to calm down. They need not to protect me. We were on their territory, yes, and they too were great, but I was Liam Payne the deadly alpha. I could take them down within a heartbeat by myself.

Hating I was on his Territory and too next to him. My wolf could not stand the scent of him.

“I'm here to take my mate's punishment,” I told him.

“What alpha Liam?” My two men said surprisingly as they came towards me, blocking me from seeing my enemy.

“Don't intervene,” I told them. What I was doing could affect our pack badly, but it was for the best in saving my mate.

My men obeyed my orders, and both stood at my side, staring at me sadly. I knew they were worried about their alpha, but I had to protect her. An alpha always protects his pack, I heard my father's voice within my ear. These were the very words my dad would always say to me as a pup. And as alpha, I lived by those words in protecting my pack. Little Avery was now a member of my pack and I had to protect her as not only her mate but too as her alpha.

Alexander stared at me with great hatred, breathing heavily.

“If I take her punishment, it means you will no longer have nothing against her,” I told him.

Alexander growled; hating every word that came from my mouth.

“The rule won't be broken in taking my mate's punishment.” I reminded him.

“Fuck you and your fucking rule Payne!” Alexander shouted angrily, turning his back to me.

Suddenly I saw him turned to face me once again having the same weird grin on his face.

“Boys, the deadly alpha is here to take his sad, little thieving mate punishment. Gather everyone within my land and let them know we will be having a great show tonight, called sacrificing the deadly alpha.”

His men ran to conduct his orders. Alexander stared straight into my eyes and slowly moved aside giving me way into his land.

“Go on deadly alpha,” he said while he smiles.

“I can't believe you're doing this alpha,” my men tried to talk me out of it.

“An alpha always protects his pack,” I reminded them.

“And too for a white hair wolf pussy,” Alexander said jovially.

I glance at him and started off into the gate of his land.

“You can stop this deadly alpha, lying that she's your mate and give me her,” Alexander said determine in having her.

I paid him no mind.

“Just give me her and this punishment will never happen,” he again said.

“Nothing you say will change my mind,” I answered him.

“Fine!” he shouted as he quickly walked past me.

“I'm going to make you regret your stupid decision,” he said.

“When I'm finished with you tonight, you won't be able to feel your back,” he warned me.

I tighten my hand; hearing what he had said. Still, I know it was not going to be easy. Alexander was dying to have her and not getting the chance to. I knew I was going to be having a hard time tonight.

“Were here at my new favourite spot,” I heard Alexander spoke as he stopped at a large opening area. The entire floor was concrete. I stopped knowing this is where my punishment will be taken tonight. I looked around the area taking notice of it and there I saw a large crowd appearing from nowhere. Surrounding the area and where I now stand.

“Welcome my people,” Alexander greeted his pack members.

“I hope you all bring popcorn to enjoy the deadly alpha show tonight,” he said playfully.

Hating how he was making fun of me. I quickly gave one of my men my shirt and walked into the middle of the large concrete area.

“Are you going to chat all night or get the hell over with this?” I asked him.

Alexander turned to look at me angrily and called two of his men.

“Get me a large piece of wire and hold this piece of shit hands down on the floor!” he instructed his men angrily.

My heart raced within my chest wanting to get over with it and too nervous.

“Alpha Liam, please don't do this,” my two men again tried to stop me. Two of Alexander's men came towards me grabbing me by the hand, forcefully.

“Your men are wise, and you should listen to them Liam, and give me the white she-wolf,” Alexander said.

I said nothing. There was nothing anyone could say or do in prevent me from saving my one true mate. As the men push me to the hard concrete ground allowing me to fall onto my knees; they hold me forcefully by both of my hands, down firmly to the ground. In my head, I felt not sorry for myself but hating the day I hurt Avery by slashing her against her back. I then realized I deserved what was about to happen to me. As I Kneeled shirtless. I heard a sharp sound behind me.

“Ah....” I growled out loud. My eyes widen and my back stiffens by the sharp pain. My dark wolf twists and turned inside me. I cried out not only for myself but for the day I once strike my mate.
