"I need flowers!"











"Fl-Flowers, Your Majesty?"









"YES! I need to extract the poison, put it somewhere else!”









I bark at Leolo and he runs out of the room with the other young guard at his side. There was a small crowd outside the door, mostly nosey maids and other guards from this side of the castle peeping in when the doors fly open. I focused more on the racing hearts of my mates beating rapidly, so I needed to act fast!











Looking around frantically, my eyes search Bahm's room for any other sign of life I could use to start the process. With Dark Magic there is always a sacrifice, trade, or even death from the power, so this will be costly for me at the end!









There was a fresh bunch of roses on the table by the bookshelves that I spotted. I hurriedly ran over, grabbed the flowers out of the vase and went straight to Bahm's body. I was worried I had no time to waste, and even more not knowing how much these flowers could handle! Especially since they weren’t connected to their main roots.











Firmly, I placed my hands on Bahm's extremely hot chest, where the veins seemed to stem from, and laid the roses on the floor next to me. My hands hovered over him and the roses to my side, and I begin summoning my Dark Magic. I sucked the hazardous and venomous poison out of his body and transferred it to the flowers, all while stealing their own essence of life. The poison did flow through my body, but it did me no harm as it left swiftly.











My eyes concentrated on the spot, noticing the veins were still very visible, and the pungence of the poison still lingered strongly from Bahm's body. My ears pick up the cries of Hubi and I became nervous suddenly.









When I looked over to my left at the flowers, they were completely dead, shriveled up with a black steam leaving their charcoal petals and stems! My eyes widened at this fact! Many flowers are going to be needed if I wanted to transfer all the poison out of Bahm.









“M’Lady!” Yelled Leolo as I turn around to see him holding three vases in his arms, along with two other men behind him, wearing armor from head to toe and each holding vases of their own. All three rush into the room, taking the flowers out of the vases and placing them on the floor next to me.









I scooted over and went to Kris instead, since his blood stream wasn’t completely taken over with the poison like Bahm’s . Then I placed my hands on his bare back and did the same to him, that I did to Bahm. The flowers die instantly and Leolo grabs the other flowers from the men, throwing it into the small pile of flowers. They all shrivel and die, but Kris’s heart rate seemed to regulate.







A groan lthen eaves his throat as he lays on his stomach motionless. Then the veins on his back disappears and shortens in length.









‘Kris!” I say, shaking his body.









“Hunnie?” His voice suddenly comes into our link while he remains motionless.









“Hunnie, Bahm has been poisoned!” He gasps in the link.











“I know I’m trying to take it out of you both!” The words fly out of my mouth out loud.











“What is my Queen?” Leolo says, kneeling to my side, then Kris’s body begins to move all of a sudden.









“I still feel like crap...

Where’s Bahm?”





Kris is heard saying out loud and he tries to pick himself off the ground. Leolo and the men comes rushing to his side, helping him stand.









“I need more flowers,” I say and the two men leave the room, only Leolo was left supporting Kris as he leaned on his shoulders sluggishly. I stand swiftly, cupping Kris’s face for he was very warm to the touch.











“Are you alright?

How do you feel--”









“-M-My b-body....

It b-b-burns...” He mumbles weakly. His eyes goes wide before they roll to the back of his head and then he goes limp in Leolo’s arms.











“Kris?

.......

Kris!” Leolo shakes him and continues support his body.











The two other guards arrive back with many jumbo sized daisies and placed the abnormally huge flowers to my side. I could sense that both of the children were awake now and I needed to act quickly.









Right away, Leolo lowers Kris to the floor and I began taking the essence from the pile of daises. With my hands placed on his chest for less than a minute, he immediately jolts awake before I could even feel the poison leaving his body.













“Revive Bahm!

Not me!”







He shouts and I flinch, turning around quickly and gathering the three huge daises that were the only ones left alive. Just then, the two guards show up, adding more to the pile and running back into the halls for some they dropped. There had to be at least one hundred daisies by now, this should do to extract the venom!









I leaned over on as much stems as I could, making sure all parts of my left arm and thigh were on the pile as I kneeled above Bahm. Then I placed my hands on his chest, inhaling deeply and then while exhaling, I sucked out the poison and transferred it to the daisies.









“MY BODY IS ON FIRE!” Bahm’s body jolt awake and he goes to stand in a fury, frightening me at his sudden aggressive behavior. Leolo and his men go to his aide, holding his wailing and struggling bodies in the grasp.









“Bahm!” Kris shouts.











“Whats wrong!”













“MY BODY!

IT’S... ON... FIRE!

A DEMON!!”



Bahm burst out, shouting in agonizing pain and fighting to be released from the men’s hold.











The poison still seemed to be in his body, or having some kind of an affect on him still and Kris runs over to help the men hold down the aggressively grunting and growling Bahm.









An idea came across my mind!









The flowers were all cut from their main life root.

We need to find a large flower that’s rooted to the ground!









Suddenly, we are all teleported outside the castle, near the lakeside that I gave birth by.









“Hunnie!



THE TREE!” Leolo shouts while they all fight to control Bahm.















“Bahm stop! we're trying to help!” I yell out. There was no way I could perform on him while he struggled under them.











“Just get to the tree Hunnie!”







Kris shouts annoyingly and I quickly run to the very tall, huge, and old cherry blossom tree. The branches extended far out over the edge of the lake and it covered the ground in many light pink petals.













“GO!

IT BURNS!”









I look behind me, seeing a teary eyed Bahm roaring, still wailing and kicking his arms and legs. The men were all dragging him my way as he fought to escape, almost like he wanted to run away!







“Hurry! Bring him over!” I rushed them, and when they got close, Leolo put Bahm in a head lock. Bahm instinctively goes to grab Leolo’s arm around his neck, when Kris and the other two grabs his arms and locks their legs around his.







They managed to bring him inches away and close enough where I could place my hand on his dark colored chest filled of veins and still touch the tree. He was stuck!







As I began to transfer the poison to the tree, it began burning my body tremendously as it flowed out into the cherry blossom tree. The essence of the tree was also flowing through my veins and into Bahm’s body, counteracting the burn sensation.







Slowly, branches began snapping off and landing all around us while releasing black steam once they hit the ground. The men all groaned and grunted as they struggled to hold Bahm as he still tried to pry free of their lock on him.







My energy was beginning to diminish, but Bahm was fighting less and less, which I noticed, but I could still see his dark veins around his chest.









“Hunnie you alright” I staggered left slightly, losing my balance, but I straightened up and borrowed more dark energy to remove the poison a lot faster.









Once there was no more poison coming though my body, I knew I was done. I put the hungry dark energy to rest and plopped down to my knees out of breath. Then I heard a loud gasp escape out of Bahm’s mouth.









Just like I thought, after seeing the size of this tree, much energy was going to be used of me. It also seemed that the tree still stands.







“Hunnie!”









“MY Queen!”







I hear voices around me, but my eyes were so heavy and my breathing became so relaxed, that I couldn’t keep them open. I leaned to the side, with my arms reach out blindly, hoping to lay down and sleep, when I’m scooped up from the ground and tucked tightly against my mate.











“I got her.

She needs rest.”

Bahm’s deep voice trembles through his chest, vibrating into mine and in no time everything goes still and quiet, while I drift of into a peaceful nap with a smile on my face.
