Girls, Will Always Have Fun
Bahm, The Demon-Wolf King
✼Three months later✼
Grabbing a glass of champaign from the waiter in the back of the ballroom, I consume all the bubbly contents before he hands me the whole bottle. He stays bowed until I then too, indulged in this bottle's liquid within the seconds.
I leave the room right after, walking up the stairs to the live ballroom. A few beings spotting me coming out the back, bowed and acknowledge my presence as I nodded and made my way to the halls.
"No mommy!
I want cake....please!"
I began hearing Hubi whining to her mother through all the loud chatter form the other children on the premises.
I teleport to the lap pool, half way to their destination, and out of sight. Only doing so because I was told to use no magic today.
I made my way away from the castle, passed the pool, ignoring everyone calling me over and power walked down the stairs to the field.
"Sweetie...it isn't time yet.
Go play with your friends...they are looking for you." Hunnie was kneeling down in front of Hubi as she talked, tucking her curls back into her high ponytail.
Hubi makes eyes contact with me over Hunnie's shoulder as I jogged my waysdown the last few steps, and her face changes from mopey to frustrated. She knew I didn't like when she whined about sweets!
"Awe man!"
She charges away with an angry face and fist balled to her side.
"Princess Hubi!
Come on!
Found her!" Yelled an older supernatural child that spotted Hubi on the stairs running away.
When she got to the bottom of the sets of stairs, she yells in anger and runs in the maze of daises. Many other children her age and slightly older, were seen coming out of the woodworks, following her into the maze with excitement. I followed in on her scent, smelling her running through the path of the maze and I smiled to myself.
Today was the twins 3rd birthday and we were hosting it down in the field of daises, which Hunnie decided the kids would love, which they did. I never realized how many guest would attend!
"Are you drinking tonight?" Hunnie turns around with her arms across her chest.
She looked a goddesss despite last night's training. Her two-toned, curly hair, flying behind her within the breeze, curled and spiraling to perfection. She wore a long sleeve, all white gown, that dragged against the ground around her feet and her sleeves were extra wide where she could tuck her arms inside.
"Of course!
We are having our first public party for the kids, so why not!" I joke with my hands in the air and she only rolls her eyes.
"It was only one bottle of champaign.
Like a sip of water, ya know."
I shrug, tilting my head to the side, waiting for that glorious, high cheek smile she always showed me.
We began walking back down the stairs to the field together, entering into the maze as well. When we got inside, I wasn't sure how long I would be able to stay in here without teleporting.
Many little spawns were freaking out, running around quickly and using their imagination way to much to their fullest extent. This was not a place I wanted to take a stroll through!
"WATCH OUT!"
I shout angrily while pulling Hunnie to my side. I sensed a small body zooming through the wall of daises at fast speeds.
"HEY!
Does your parents know you are using magic to fly around?" In my hand was a child, looking up at me with grey, watery, wide eyes as they dangled in my grasp.
"N-No...I'm just playing tag." The dark haired girl whimpers.
She was older than my kids!
She was flying so fast, I had to catch her by her shirt before she ran into Hunnie!
"Tag?
You're cheating," I say
"Not everyone can fly to you!" I tell her while setting her down on the ground. Hunnie comes over and fixes her shirt while giving me a scowling face.
What is that look for?
I'm treating them like my own kids, doing exactly what she asked me to do!
"No more flying, because if someone gets hurt, I'll be pissed!"
"Your Highness!" Hunnie yells, patting the girl on her back to leave. She runs away instantly, disappearing through one of the maze's paths.
"Bahm don't talk to other kids that way!"
"Why not?
You said we have to keep an eye on them too, or else the parents won't want to come back!"
"Threatening and holding them up by their shirts, won't work.
Now she has a story to tell about how The King held her up by her shirt in the air!
For the rest of her life!!"
She puts her hand on her hips and I smirk, grabbing the cheeks I love so much and stealing a kiss from her. She tries swatting me away, but theres no way to run from daddy.
☯π☯π☯
We walked through the maze for almost two hours, entering the open field filed of many different entertainment for the kids. I saw Bahari instantly, already sensing him on my way out, jumping on some trampoline built into the ground with a few other toddlers, and Kris seated at a bar under a shack.
He was seated to the back, next to two empty thrones, pulling his hair from the root. I listened in on him as he began pacing, curious as to why he was so stressed.
"SHUT UP!" He yells.
Then he began inhaling harshly, "Let me concentrate!" He yells again and exhales his breathing.
"But, I thought The King tucked her magic away...
How can she just disappear without anyone sensing her, maybe she's still in the maze!" I hear our friend named gabby saying to Kris. He yells back about how much he checked the maze and how he still couldn't smell her.
"It's like she disappeared!" He yells again, turning around under the shack and spotting me far off in the distant. Then his face changes to surprise and I teleport right away, leaving Hunnie behind to associate with the guest that were now coming to her side to chatter.
"What the fuck is going on Kris!" The words squeezed between my teeth.
"I don't know!
I was running after Hubi in the maze, before I saw you coming down the stairs to the field, and then her scent just disappears! I haven't been able to find her for almost three hours!" He says with wide eyes and a racing heart.
"Please tell me you smell her," he says coming up to me with his hair still in his grasp.
I turn my head to the side, looking towards the maze and sniffing. Then I walk towards the front of the shack, sniffing some more. She definitely wasn't in the maze.
I let my nose wander throughout the the castle premises, and I still didn't smell Hubi.
Bahari's scent was clear as day, so was Hunnie's, Kris, and my mother's, but Hubi's scent was non existent. I teleport inside the maze, getting a closer scent of hers, but still nothing.
Aldrerix pushes to the surface and I let him. He intensifies our senses, searching for Hubi on his own and teleporting us to different location of the castle, but unfortunately I still couldn't smell my daughter. I teleport back to Kris, grabbing him by his collar in a rage.
"KRIS, WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!" Roaring in his face, and startling the guest around me, I watch his huge brown eyes go to something of worry, to fear, so I let him go feeling guilty.
"Y-You can't smell her?" he stutters and I turn around running my fingers through my sweaty hair.
"Sissy!" I hear Bahari's tiny voice though the chatter and I turn around to look over my shoulder as all the hairs on my body stands straight up as he points in the direction of the maze.
Walking out the exit, was Ms. Silvistina holding onto Hubi's hand and scolding her. I teleport over, filled with so much fury as to why my daughter is still using her magic!
"See, your dad was looking for you too.
Don't hide anymore." Silvistina says and leads Hubi right to me. There was a group of kids following right behind her, intrigued to see if Hubi was in trouble or not.
"Where did you go sweetie?" I mumble while embracing her into my arms.
"She said she was mad, and wanted to hide her, SPIRITS." My eyes penetrate right towards Silvistina. She raises her eyebrows, making a very concerning face and cocks her head.
"Uncle Kris said he couldn't find you earlier, so Nana went in to find Miss Hubi."
After I scold her on not hiding when she's mad, we make our way out and got ready to begin serving cake. All the small children got a sugar high and tired themselves out right around dinner time. The cake was very much taller than me, and in the shape of a dragon and a princess, per the kids request.
When they slept, I had the seer, seal Hubi's magic for good, but she warned me, that just like her mother, she could come up with other way to make deals with the Dark Magic from within, trading her with what she wants.
"So, can we try another spell tonight?
I want to test a theory." Hunnie says, unraveling her towel and getting into bed.
"No Demon Realm tonight, Hunnie."
"Please!" She begs, kissing my back. Kris was still out partying with his friends in the fields while we were getting ready for bed.
"I'll wake you ten minutes before,
I think I got this tonight Bahm.
Goodnight, Love you." She kisses again and turns around.
Goodnight?
She thought I was falling asleep so soon?
The kids are in their beds!
