The Bane Pack.

CHRISTOPHER KNIGHT'S FAMILY.

Christopher Knight returned to his pack one day after consulting with the Seer from the De Luca Pack with a muddled mind likewise that of his Beta.

His family and that of the De Luca's were very close, he was dreading the loss that was soon to hit his friend's son and heir, he knew how coping with the death of a mate was hard even though he hasn't experienced it he's seen what it has done to his friend and companion, Stephano.

He shuddered at the thought of losing his wife and placed a kiss to the Luna, Rebecca's forehead. She stirred in her sleep nuzzling her head into the crook of his neck.

His wife, albeit a human had the senses only possessed by a wolf, she was the best hunter they had and the best tracker, a warrior on her own. Old age bottled up her vivacious activities that used to make the blood in her flesh roar with vigor. Rebecca was a slim but curvy woman with fiery red hair.

Their first child Drake, was born a werewolf but the second child, a daughter they named Samantha followed after the genes that ran through her mother. Drake took his position as the next Alpha significantly and with utmost importance, he spared no time for frivolities. Meeting his mate, Angelina loosened his stiff-upper lip. Angelina was an omega from his pack. When it was time for Drake to become Alpha he accepted his duties wholly and never disappointed his father. Drake was elusive to Samantha's spontaneity, he kept matters to himself while she was high-spirited and lively.

Over the years as Samantha began to grow several changes were noticed in her. She took over her mother's hair but hers worked miracles, its shade varies according to her emotions, it blazed when she was enraged, shone when happy and its colour tended to become a dull shade of red when she was either disappointed or sad or the likes of it. After a while more changes were noticed, Samantha began to foresee the future, she could read palms, she made assumptions that tended to come out true, she healed injuries, wounds and whatnots. At the age of 17 she was the pack's self-made physician, fortune teller and seer.

Much to Christopher's chafe she found her mate in a human and subsequently fell in love with the man. Kane Scott was a man she met in college who had zero knowledge about the existence of werewolves and how genuinely factual they were, unlike all the myths he's heard about them. The first time she confessed to him about who her parents were he laughted her off. The second time he dismissed her bluff and the third time she made him see what her brother was like as a human before shifting to a wolf, he fainted right there and then.

Almost everyone from her Pack dubbed the man she loved as a weakling but Samantha had none of that. She insisted until her father relented despite the fact that he would have preferred her to have a mate from the supernatural world if only to have the assurance that his daughter was well secured and protected. Samantha got married to Kane not long after he accepted her as she was.

Later on after meeting with Old Beatriz it was understood that Christopher's wife, Rebecca came from a specific line of faes that had a link to the Opium Pack and Samantha got her powers and inhumane abilities from the Faes through her mother. After conducting a thorough research about their kind Old Beatriz broke them the news that Samantha could be the very last of her kind on the earth because only a miracle could make her beget an offspring with similar powers because of her marriage with a common man. The story though would've been different had she been mated to a stronger wolf.

From then on Samantha and her husband were forced to move into the Bane Pack palace for protection in the case of other wolves catching a whiff of the details on her uniqueness because Kane didn't prove to be strong enough to protect himself and his wife. More than a year into marriage he still lost his parlor whenever a human shifted in his sight.


MARTIN MILES' FAMILY.

Although Martin was Beta when Christopher was Alpha, when Drake took up his position as Alpha it was agreed by the council of Elders that Martin stay in his position as the pack was yet to get someone fit for the position of Beta and Martin had born no sons. Martin agreed and stood by Christopher's side as the loyal companion that he has always been.

He seconded Christopher's decision when Samantha insisted on marrying a common human but later on relented when his friend too did. Martin lived with his Wife Vanessa and his twin daughters who were close friends with Samantha, Julie and Natalie were both werewolves.


News arrived at the Bane Pack pertaining Alexander's birth and Penelope's death. It was a tragic event that was felt in the whole werewolf council not only the De Luca pack. The Bane pack mourned her death side-by-side with the aggrieved Pack and welcomed the son birthed by the deceased most demurely.

Three years after Alexander's birth, the Luna of the Bane pack, Drake's wife Angelina gave birth to a male child and he was named Christopher James after both his paternal and maternal grandfathers.

Samantha though was still yet to conceive.

It was five years later, eight years after Alexander was born that Samantha conceived. Martin's daughter, Natalie too had by then found her mate and has been married to him for three years. The couple lived in the Pack manor while Julie moved out to be with her mate and husband outside of it.

Natalie was nearing her second trimester when Samantha conceived, she was in her second month. Due to the complications that came with Samantha's pregnancy she was forced abed and was advised to take up a bed rest by the pack's physician and most importantly to let go of all her previous extravagant activities.

At that time the three companions Stephano, Christopher and Martin met at the De Luca pack to discuss issues of relevance. The two men broke the news of their daughters' pregnancies and a comfortable silence fell over them. It was a sign to show that it was nearly time for Alexander's mate to be born and when they apprised the seer all she did was assure them that everything was going to fall into place with no need for them to meddle in what was made by fate and also suggested that Old Beatriz be taken to the Bane Pack for the birth of the future Alpha's Queen.

Anxiety fell over the men as Natalie reached hit nine months with no sign of labor despite her and her husband being wolves. By then Samantha was seven months pregnant.

On a very cold night, Samantha awoke from sleep drenched in sweat, she felt liquid trailing down her legs as her womb contracted. She fought against the urge to scream from pain but with her husband's help Old Beatriz was fetched into her room.

"I think it's time." Old Beatriz whispered after checking up on the panting woman sprawled on the bed.

"But I'm still a few months away from my due date." Samantha argued panting harder and fisting the sheets in her hand.

Old Beatriz gave her a look she understood all too quickly and sent Kane to fetch the delivery box for her.

Disoriented and confused he asked, "Should I go get the car so we could go to the hospital?"

The old woman shook her head first before responding, "It wouldn't be a wise choice, the time is already too near I can feel the child's head approaching all too quickly. Soothe your wife."

He rushed to do as he was told to, he whispered words of encouragement to her, got his fingers squashed from the tight grip she had on them and got a huge smile on his face when Old Beatriz presented him with a beautiful angel covered in blood, a daughter. A healthy and hale screaming child.

After performing the rituals done on a newborn baby, Old Beatriz went to fetch Christopher and Rebecca herself. The manor was lit with excitement at the news of Vanessa's birth although prematurely.

Martin congratulated the family with huge smiles on his face, the girl was named Isabelle as per her mother's wish.

One day later, Martin's daughter, Natalie gave birth to a beautiful daughter and she was named Arabella as per her grandmother, Vanessa's wish.
