Chapter 15
After Sophia drove Susan away, she finally felt a little better and happily prepared the food and wanted to bring it to Aaron herself to make him happy.
She endured the tingling pain from her feet and walked step by step to his office. She was full of joy and expected to be greeted by him with a smiling face, but to her surprise, once she reached the door, she saw the image of her sister sitting on her mate's lap.
The blood in Sophia's body froze, and all the blood faded from her face instantly.
Was it anger?
She thought not.
It was a deep sadness, the sadness of being betrayed over and over again, of being the only one in the world to be played like a fool by everyone.
The tray in her hand crashed to the floor, spilling the carefully prepared dishes and spilling some of the juices onto the hem of her pure white dress, staining it with a stain that wouldn't wash off.
Aaron's eyes looked over, with dismay, and she fought back the tears that were about to flow as she turned her head in determination and darted away, running hard again because of the growing tingling pain in her feet.
''Sophia!'' the wolf cried out, irritated by Sophia's expression, her tears seemed to hit its heart, burning its flesh, looking at Sophia's determined gaze, his heart dulled in pain, feeling panic without any reason, scolding Aaron loudly and angrily ''What are you waiting for! Go after her!'
With almost fierce force, Aaron pushed Susan down, too late to order anything, and chased Sophia's back over.
Susan was pushed to the ground, lying on her back with her head down, looking like she had fallen hard, and she buried her head between her arms, afraid that someone would see the smugness and madness on her face.
Too stupid, too good to be true.
The corners of her mouth grew wider and wider, and she could not restrain herself from laughing wildly.
How could her good sister be so stupid, how could she survive in this palace when she hadn't even done anything to irritate her like this, so stupid?
It was so funny.
As if her perverted psychology was satisfied, her body all trembled slightly from the excitement, like pain on one side.
Nick, with the idea that she was a guest, condoled, "Are you okay."
Susan raised her head, revealing a red face from holding in laughter, and without help, climbed up by herself and smiled apologetically at him.
"Sister must have misunderstood again, I'll go after her and explain to her."
Aaron caught up with Sophia without much effort and blocked her in the bedchamber, he pulled Sophia's arm to keep her from running away again.
"Sophia, listen to me explain, it's not what you see!"
"Let go of me, I don't want to hear it!" Sophia struggled desperately.
"Sophia, it was just an accident, she was just ......" Aaron explained anxiously.
"I said I don't want to hear it!" Sophia covered her ears with her remaining hand and refused to listen to his explanation any longer, she cried helplessly, "I don't want to be cheated anymore, I don't want to hear it, let go of me ......"
"Sophia ......"
"Will you let me go," she sobbed, struggling helplessly but unable to break free from the chains that bound her, "I don't want to stay here anymore, let me go!"
Aaron looked at her agitated look, his heart seized up with pain, he no longer hesitated, took her into his arms, and sealed her mouth fiercely.
Sophia struggled with all her might, but his arms were like a fate she couldn't break, making her frightened and angry as she fought to break free.
She could not avoid his lips, as if she was fierce, immediately biting, like a primitive ancestor, like a beast that only tears and bites, her mouth tasted blood, instead of getting more and more ruthless.
Aaron only felt that his lips were about to be bitten off by her, but he could not bear to let go and leave, and could only let her vent until she lost her strength and loosened her tightly clenched teeth.
"Calm down yet?" Aaron held her tightly, afraid that if he didn't notice she would run away again, looking helpless and heartbroken.
Sophia refused to talk to him, turning her head to the side and avoiding his gaze.
Aaron, how could he let her avoid him, forcefully broke her chin and stared at her seriously.
"She just fell on me on purpose, I didn't even touch her, you believe me."
Sophia dried her tears, feeling a little humiliated, and gritted her teeth and said stiffly, "It has nothing to do with me."
"You are my mate, I swear, I will never touch anyone else, especially not your sister," Aaron said solemnly, his tone suddenly softening again, "Trust me, okay?"
Sophia also calmed down a bit, and was just about to ask one more question when Susan barged into the queen's chambers, despite the servants' obstruction.
"Sister! You mustn't misunderstand! There's really nothing between me and the king!" She was breathing heavily as if she had run all the way here furiously, that is to say the words were easily misunderstood.
"Sister, I just fell down accidentally and the king picked me up by the hand before I fell into the king's arms, don't misunderstand the king." She explained anxiously.
If Sophia hadn't already known her true nature, I'm afraid she would have been deceived by this innocent and kind appearance.
Susan straightened up, saw Aaron's bleeding lip, and said in shock, "Your Majesty, what happened to your mouth?"
"Sister is too much, how can you hurt the king because of this little thing, even if I really have something with the king, that's not a reason for sister to hurt him." Susan complained, invariably sticking a needle into Sophia's heart.
Susan hurriedly took out a scented handkerchief from her chest and tried to come over to help Aaron wipe away the blood that was flowing down.
This time Sophia blocked her.
If she couldn't tell that Susan was deliberately lighting a fire, she was really stupid. When she thought about it, Susan had used this trick so many times that she used to reflect on herself.
But not anymore.
Sophia gave a mocking smile and raised her hand and landed a heavy slap on Susan's face, Susan didn't think she would dare to do it in front of Aaron and was directly confused.
"Susan, it's better to take away these little tricks of yours, don't force me to be unkind to you." She shook off her numb hand, slightly regretting that she hadn't just found a board to swing her.
Her hands were numb.
Aaron quietly took hold of her hitting hand and squeezed it gently.
Susan's face was high and swollen, washing away the beauty and endearing look on her small face.
She covered her face and looked incredulous, sobbing, "Sister, what did I do that you would do this to me?"
Sophia looked at her speechlessly, "What have you done, don't you know it in your own heart? Who gave you permission to seduce my husband?"
Susan, however, instantly squeezed out two tears of aggression, "How can sister misunderstand me so much, I have already explained."
"If you are really dissatisfied with me, you can just say it, no need to be so vindictive, I didn't mean to snatch brother Carl, if there was a choice, I wouldn't have snatched him away from sister."
"But how can you hurt the king because of that?" She exclaimed, "Don't you think what you're doing now is too disrespectful to the king?"
Aaron listened silently, thinking to himself that even if this was disrespectful, the punching and kicking she did to him when she wouldn't let him touch her was much worse than now.
He had the heart to open his mouth to refute Susan, but Sophia had a death grip on his hand and swallowed all the words that came to his mouth.
Susan's side was still crying and finally knelt down directly in front of Aaron, crying, "Please, Your Majesty, do something for Susan, don't let Susan carry a mistake that doesn't belong to Susan."
Sophia was exasperated and laughed, directly pulled Aaron's collar, padded his feet he came to a hot French kiss.
Aaron gladly accepted, and the two kissed with forgetfulness and slurping.
After a while, Sophia just hugged Aaron and said to Susan with disdain, "Did you think my mate, would flip out with me over an outsider?"
When Aaron heard Sophia's personal admission that he was her mate, he was immediately moved with emotion.
He had never thought he would be excited by the words "my mate".
Sophia was a little embarrassed after she finished speaking, and peeked at Aaron's expression, and saw the bad smile he gave herself.
She hurriedly turned her head away and said down to Susan, "Don't come challenging my patience again, Susan, I've put up with you too many times already and won't continue to do so."
"Don't pretend in front of me, I know what you want, but that's not possible, Aaron, it will only be mine." She said in absolute terms.
Susan's crying expression hung back a bit and said reluctantly, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Aaron wasn't going to watch the two of them bullshit anymore and took Sophia into his arms and ordered the servants, "Throw her out of the palace."
Susan's eyes widened, this time she was really panicking, if she was thrown out again this time, where would she put her face?
"No, don't do this, Your Majesty, I really didn't lie!" Susan cried and was dragged out, Sophia's ears finally cleared.
She looked at Aaron's face and felt a little guilty when she saw the cut on his lip.
Aaron didn't take it to heart, his head arched between her neck, "Now you believe me."
Sophia touched his lip and said guiltily, "I'm sorry, it's all my fault for being too excited."
"I'll go get the medicine!"
She broke away from his embrace and jumped down, but her feet went weak when she hit the ground and she fell to her knees.
Aaron panicked and hurriedly picked her up and put her on the bed, taking off her shoes before realizing that the wound on her foot had split open again from the running she had just done.
"You stay put, I'll get it." Aaron instructed with a sullen face, Sophia saw that he was really angry, and did not dare to say more, and obediently sat on the bed and waited for him.
Aaron brought a clean towel, wiped her feet carefully and reapplied the medicine.
Sophia wiggled her little feet and said regretfully, "I had cooked for you with my own hands, but now I can't eat either."
"Come here." She held out her hand to him, "I'm going to medicate you instead."
Aaron rested his chin on her hand, staring intently at her face, and took the opportunity to demand, "When you're ready, make love to me."
"Sophia didn't even think twice about it, and agreed readily.
She gently pressed his swollen lips and said with a bit of a headache, "Don't do that next time, if your subordinates see you, they will scold you behind your back for not having the dignity of a king."
Aaron held her hand and fondly pressed his face to it, "Then promise me that next time you won't make me worry."
"Maybe at that time I should have listened to you and paid more attention to Susan, and none of this would have happened." Sophia remembered the past and regretted it too.
Aaron did not respond, he sat on the floor, his head resting on her leg, listening to the sound it felt as if he was going to fall asleep in the next second.
"In my place, you just need to be yourself."
