I did all that Chad had asked me to and it was finally time to leave and head for the store like he had demanded. As I got into the matte black car, a brand I had no knowledge of- I was too poor for all of that detail- I knew this was going to be a ride of my life.
"Why did you change your mind? You said we would leave tomorrow or was I hearing things? Did she ask you to come today or was that a decision you made on your own?" I requested, wishing he would explain things to me.
"You know, if you keep asking questions like this, I might be forced to stop your pay." He threatened in his calm voice, getting into his seat belt while I took the same action.
"Hey, that's the only reason I'm on board with any of this. If you decide to change your mind, that's the end." I attempted to show him I had equal rights over this matter but Chad didn't look the least bit affected by my words.
"What store are we headed to?" I asked after we'd hit the road for at least five minutes. I watched as we rode by people in motion and stagnant objects. I threw my thoughts aloud. I knew that Chad wouldn't visit random stores. For a man with as much money as he possessed, I was certain we would be heading for a store where dresses were sold at one million dollars.
"Can't you just be a spectator for once?" He snapped. I was taken aback by the little amount of venom in his voice. By now, I was sure he was still mad at me from drawing him into this. Well, he had to know better that I wasn't in on this either.
Wait a second...
Bitch, you literally get four thousand dollars, what was I thinking?
This was the perfect thing for me, almost the best thing that had ever happened to me. Sorry that you have to go through this Chad but it's a win loss.
"I'm sorry." I apologized with a bright grin.
"Why do you look so happy?" He raised an eyebrow at me, looking at me for a second before returning his gaze to the road.
"Nothing." I lied. I had no idea how but for the first time, I managed to stay quiet for the rest of the journey.

We got to the store and I knew I was going to be dead. Chad better not try taking my dress away from me after I owned it, I thought.
The place was literally heaven, like nothing I had ever seen.
There were rich people lining every corner of the store and all of a sudden I felt odd being present in the scene.
"What's wrong?" Cole noticed my discomfort and threw the question at me.
"I'm great, it's just I feel a little odd and…" my voice faded with shyness.
He smirked and took me aback by snaking his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. "Well since you happen to be my fiance, I guess it really wouldn't hurt to let people think you're with me. I'm supposed to protect you and so feel good okay?" He said.
My eyes were wide and it was difficult to conceal the shivers his touch sent down my spine. "What are you doing?" I mumbled through gritted teeth and although no one seemed to pay attention to us, I couldn't help but feel like the whole room was staring at us.
"I'm letting you know it's totally okay." That definitely got me blushing and I hid it with a small smile.
"Thank you."

"Nope, that one makes you look too fat… no, you look like you're going on an audition as a clown… Nope, you look like a horse…" this had been going on for at least an hour. Chad wasn't satisfied with any of the clothes I had selected, although it was frustrating, I loved where it was going because he promised to let me keep all I selected regardless of whether or not he bought it.
"When are we going to pick an outfit?!" I wondered. As rich as they were, none of them seemed to impress him.
"As soon as I find one that's intriguing." He said.
"Well, please pick one for me already, I'm getting so tired." I groaned.
"Fine." He sighed, "that's way better."
I rolled my eyes and stepped into the dressing room to change out of the outfit and back into my clothes
I was lost in thoughts about what to do when I got to his mother. Would she suspect I was a phony just by looking at me? Even if it was makeover, my face never concealed I was a church rat.
I got out of the off the shoulder gown that stopped at my knees. It was sky blue with diamonds littering it.
I was in nothing else but my panties. I had taken my bra off along with my corporate outfit since the gown required I wasn't in any bra. It was padded with foam on the chest area. I loved it and I was glad it was mine to keep.
I was about to pull my clothes over my head where I'd tucked them in front of the dressing mirror.
I stared at my breasts in the mirror and wriggled them a little. "Progress eh?" I chuckled as they vibrated from my moves.
"Your breasts are even smaller than they were in the picture." I heard Chad before I noticed his reflection. I widened my eyes and turned around sharply. Chad was in the dressing room and he was staring at my naked body.
