Chapter 10

Randhir PoV:

I didn't understand why she asked me to not to inform her parents. Whatever, I did as she said. But what's more shocking to me is though she didn't contact them for a week, they didn't call her nor worried about her. Except Ajay, no one called her. Initially I felt jealous but later on I understood the sweetness of their friendshp. Really they are very good friends. Ajay cares for Sakshi. He used to call her from time to time to remind her about her medicines.

To be frank, I didn't like Ajay caring as same as me. But I know she has choice to choose her friends and I shouldn't ask her to cut her friendship just for me. After all I love her. So, I should give freedom to her.

Sakshi PoV:

I was discharged and Randhir took me to his home. He kept all his works aside and cared for me. As my leg injured badly, I was unable to walk. He used to make me eat food and gave medicines. He applied the herbal oil to my feet everyday to make me walk soon. One day, we both were chitchatting. Then, I asked him.

"Randhir, Do you think I can walk?"

"Don't worry, surely you will walk."

"What if I can't walk forever?"

"So what I am with you forever. So I will take you wherever you want to go in my arms."

His reply brought tears to me for his unconditional love and he wiped my tears.

"Until I am with you, you should never cry."

"I love you," I got shock after saying that because I never thought that I would be the one to propose first.

Randhir smiled and kissed me on the forehead.

"I love you too," Randhir said.

"Will you marry me?"

"Sure, dear. I loved you to marry you. As soon as you recovers, we will get married," Randhir said.

"But will you marry me even if I can't walk forever?" I said.

"I need only your heart and love. Even if you can't walk, I will surely marry you because I love you."

Randhir PoV:

I was really surprised when Sakshi proposed suddenly. Her question that will you marry me even if I can't walk made me smile. Because I love her. I love her a lot. How could I leave her in the middle if something happens to her? Whatever happens I will be with her throughout my life. She is my angel. She is my life.

For one month, she was on the bed and then, she slowly started walking. Within two months she recovered completely. In those two months I am totally fallen for her. Her innocence, cute smile, childish behaviour, fighting everything I loved in her. I feel she is really a child from heart. She looked damn cute in her anger.

Sakshi was recovered and I went to drop her at home. Her parents are at home when I went.

Sakshi PoV:

I went to my home with Randhir. My parents fumed at me as I was not in touch with them in those two months.

"Where are you in these two months? You have degraded our prestige in the society. Have you eloped with anyone?" My dad words shocked Randhir but not me.

"Stop it, uncle. Do you know what all she gone through in those two months? She met with an accident. If you really love her, you would worry for her but not for your prestige. These two months she is on the bed completely. Your prestige won't be degraded because I am going to marry her. From now, Sakshi is my wife. So, never talk anything against her," Randhir said and his reply made me smile.

He is the first person who fought for me. I felt lucky to have him. The marriage arrangements started. Engagement was completed. My friends asked me for a party. I gave a big party to them. Ajay too attended the party. We all drunk and in that state, shocking me, Ajay revealed his feelings for me. He said he loves me. I didn't reply to him and we all started from there. In my way, I am thinking about Ajay's words. Suddenly I felt as I hit a person. I am in hell shock. I didn't understand what to do. I called Randhir.

Randhir came there immediately and took him to the hospital. But he was expired. I got shocked. Just my enjoyment killed one person. How could I do this? I decided then and there itself to quit drinking. I cursed myself for taking away life of a person. I am so disturbed. I am really frightened too thinking about police and the case. But Randhir told me to go to the home. I went to my home. There was no police case filed against me. I went to Randhir.

"Randhir, how did you manage the case? Police didn't file case against me. How?"

"Shut up, Sakshi. You are always careless. Your carelessness cost is a person's life. You can never understand this. Do you know how his family feels? Do you know what happens to his family now? Can your money and status bring him back? If you are my wife, I would have locked you in the room not allowing you to go out. Because if you go out, either you will meet with an accident or kills the other person," Randhir said.

"I am sorry. Please, I am sorry. I will be careful from now," I said.

He didn't talk to me.

"I promise I will never drink again. Please, talk to me, Randhir," I said, holding my ears.

"Ok but you should never drink and should be careful. Are you going to do this?"

"Ok. Thank you."

Randhir told me he has some work and I went to my home. Next day I heard Randhir faced a huge loss in his business and unfortunately he lost everything to clear the debts. I was in shock. Many thoughts revolved in my mind. If I marry him, I should depend again on my parents. I want to break all ties with them as soon as I get married. I didn't want fall in a trouble. So, I ignored Randhir's calls.

I met Ajay and asked him is he ready to marry to me. He accepted happily but my parents didn't agree. I didn't care for them. On the day of my engagement with Ajay, Randhir came there. Ajay and I went to talk to him.

"What is this, Sakshi? How could you do this? Don't you love me?" Randhir said.

"No. I love Ajay. I will be happy with him throughout my life," I said.

"Do you think that I can't keep you happy? I love you, Sakshi," Randhir said with tears.

"How can you keep me happy without money? What do you have now? I can't trouble myself. So, I decided to marry Ajay. Love won't give us food. It's not a movie to leave everything I have and accompany you for you mere love. I can't stay in a poor hut and live in such circumstances. Just go away, Randhir. Better never show your face to me ever," I said.

Randhir slapped me. Ajay became furious and they both fought with each other. Ajay called the security and they threw Randhir out of the functional hall.

Randhir Pov:

Sakshi did an accident and killed a person. I talked with his family. Then I found that his mother got heartattack after knowing that her son is dead. His sister's marriage is in the next month. I didn't understand how to save Sakshi. So, I took the blame and told I was the one who did that accident. Their relatives hit me.

I met his sister and asked her not to file the case. She told either I have to marry her or transfer my whole property to them inorder to not file the case. I can't marry anyone except Sakshi. So, on the spot I called my lawyer and transferred my whole property to them. One night changed my life.

But I felt happy because I saved my Sakshi. I called her the next day but she didn't receive my call. She ignored my calls. I went to her home and her parents told that she is going to marry Ajay. I got shocked. I went to meet her.

She conformed it. She gave more preference to money than my love. She left me. After that I didn't meet her again for two years. I worked hard day and nite. I started a small bakery and then a hotel. Now I am the head of 25 hotels all over India. I expanded my business in various sectors too. I became successful and became the wealthiest man again.

Then, I searched for Sakshi. This time not because of love for her but to take revenge against her. I came to know that she didn't marry Ajay. So, I asked her parents that I want to marry her. They agreed and Sakshi too didn't object this time. Obviously she will agree to marry me because I have the money now. I married her not with love but to kill her every minute and make her life a living hell. I closed my eyes remembering the past.


How can I forgive her? No, I can't. My anger is justified and she doesn't deserve my forgiveness. I went to her room in rage. I opened the door and she looked at me.

"Randhir," Sakshi said.

I caught her hair and pulled it making her to stand on the floor.

"Randhir, what happened to you. Did I do anything wrong again?"

"I can never forgive you. You can never become my wife. You are just a property which I bought with my wealth. So never ask me to forgive you again."

I threw her on the bed and went away. Later on, we both had the dinner and she slept. I didn't sleep because tomorrow is her birthday. The date changed and I took the gift from my room which I brought for her. I thought to wake her up to wish her and went to her room. I found her speaking on the mobile.

"Thank you, Ajay. Thank you for remembering my birthday. Ok, bye. Good nite."

I understood it's Ajay who called and wished her. I went to my room and threw the gift on the floor. I slept there itself. I didn't want to talk to her anymore.
