Chapter 25

Randhir PoV:

I decided to allow Sakshi to pursue her career. But I am scared as her life is in danger. I tried all the ways to find out about Sneha. Till now I don't understand why she wants to take revenge on my Sakshi.

At evening, I went to pick Sakshi from the office. But her staff informed me that already she left. I told her not to go alone anywhere. I called her but her mobile is switched off. I didn't understand what happened to her. I hope she is fine.

I went home to check there first. I found Sakshi in the room. She sat on the bed hugging her knees. She didn't see me. I sighed with relief as she is fine. Next second, my concern replaced with anger for her irresponsible behaviour.

I grabbed her hand and made her to stand. I started shouting at her.

"Are you mad? Can't you inform me that you reached home? Why did you come home alone? Didn't I tell not to come alone? If you don't obey my words, then I will again confine you to our home. How can you be so careless and irresponsible? Don't repeat it, Sakshi. Otherwise I will do what I said."

She looked at me and then her next act startled me. She kissed me on my lips. I didn't understand what happened to her. I am scolding her and she behaved like this. Then she hugged me. I understood that she is crying. I hugged her. Maybe she got frightened as I shouted at her.

"Sakshi, don't cry. I got scared as you are not at office and your mobile was switched off. So I just showed my concern in that way. Please, don't cry."

"I didn't want to lose you," she cried more hugging me.

Sakshi PoV:

My life took a bad turn when I lost Randhir in the past. If I lost him again, I know I can't live. He hurt me so much both physically and mentally but still I don't know why I feel safe in his arms. No one else can make me feel this safe and secure.

Maybe because somewhere in my heart I know that he loves me so much. I hugged him tight crying as I decided to say the truth about Aayudh.

"I didn't want to lose you," I said while crying.

"Don't worry. I won't leave you even if you beg me to do so."

He said in his own rude way but where only I can understand the true meaning behind those words.

"You won't live with me even if I beg you to do so" I said out which is in my mind.

Yes, he won't live with me anymore if he knows that Aayudh is alive and I saved his life till now by providing the treatment. He might misunderstand me again.

"I want to say something to you,"I said slowly which is almost a whisper.

"
Let me guess what you want to say," he said changing his voice into a serious tone.

"Guess?"

"Yes. As I love you and know you better, may be I can guess what you want to say."

I looked at him confusingly. How could he guess that Aayudh is alive?

"Maybe u need my permission to meet Ajay."

"No."

"Then you want to talk about today's dinner?"

What is he talking about? I am talking about life and he is making fun.

"Randhir, please, let me speak. I want to say something very important and I can't even imagine how would you react after listening to it."

"Ok but let me try for one last time MRS. RANDHIR."

He stressed the last words making me fear.

"May be you want to say that."

He paused and looked at me.

"Aayudh is alive and escaped from the hospital," he said shocking me.

How did he know? I didn't know how to react.

He came towards me. I moved away.

"Don't," he shouted making me to jump in fear.

He came and caught my hand. I bent my head.

"Look into my eyes, Sakshi."

He said very normally but I didn't dare to see anger in his eyes at me.

"I said look at me," he raised his voice a bit.

I looked at him. His face is so calm now. No signs of anger or hatred.

"Do you think that I can't know if you hide something from me? Your every moment will be known to me. As you are my wife, it's my responsibility to save you from every danger. Don't worry, I will save you from Aayudh too."

I saw him with mixed feelings.

"And I won't leave you ever."

He said making me relaxed. I hugged him. He caressed my hairs hugging me. If he is with me, I can face anything.

"But you will get a nice punishment for all this nonsense," he whispered

"Anything is ok for me if you are with me," I said.

He made me to look at him.

"I am just kidding. I won't hurt you anymore. But problems are increasing day by day. I don't want this to effect our child."

I nodded.

"How do you know this?"

"Ajay met me today. He said this as you are scared of telling this to me. But didn't say about your past."

I closed my eyes remembering the day I met Aayudh. I am five years old and he is seven years old. We were playing in the rain. His mom called both of us. I opened my eyes and looked at Randhir.

"Aayudh is my father's friend's son. My best friend who used to understand me well in the past."

I decided to tell Randhir about my past.
