Chapter 24

Next day I woke up as I felt Randhir's hand on my forehead. I opened my eyes and he stared at me and caressed my hairs.

"Good morning," he said with a smile.

"Good morning," I said slowly remembering his anger the last night.

I slowly got up and walked towards the washroom. But he pulled me back to the bed. I fell on him. I am on top of him. He smiled again filled with a bit of naughtiness in his face.

"Randhir, what is this? Leave me. I have to get ready and prepare break fast for you. Again you will shout at me if I prepare it late."

Still he didn't leave me. Instead he tightened his grip on my waist pulling me towards him. I silently stared at him. He tugged my hairs behind my ears.

"Are you angry with me?"

"Did you gave that right too to me?"

I said seeing everywhere but him.

"So if I give that right, you want to be angry with me, right?"

"Nothing like that. Leave me, please."

"Kiss me," he said smiling.

"Leave me."

"Kiss me or I will kiss you hard," he said in a serious tone.

I gave peck on his lips.

"I asked you to give kiss but not lip kiss. So you love me that much."

I pushed him away and went to get ready. I prepared the break fast. I came to the room to call him for food.

"Break fast is ready. Come fast," I said and moved.

But he held me and pinned me to the wall.

"Do you want to take over the company?"

"No. I just asked you. As you said no, I won't."

"You are dreaming of becoming the MD of your company and If I say yes, you will do it, right?"

He said taking his pistol from the cup board. He checked and pointed it towards me. I was in shock.

"No, Randhir. Please I won't take over the company. I have no such dreams."

I said crying. He came to me and wiped my tears.

"You can take over the company if you like. I really have no objection."

I looked at him surprised.

"But, be careful."

He handedover the pistol to me.

"If you suspect anyone that they are dangerous, then use this pistol. But be careful. Don't use it without proper assurance that they are harmful to you."

"Ok," I said slowly.

"I am sorry for shouting at you yesterday. I just got irritated the last night because I hate your old life style and I know it's not safe for you to step out of the house. But at the sametime I don't want to disappoint you."

"If you don't like then I will stay at home itself."

"But your parents need you. They shouldn't feel that if they have a son, he would have helped them at this time. Because you are no less than a son. I am sure you can handle company perfectly. Daughters are never less than sons, but they are always made helpless by husbands like me, stopping their progress, as they are bound to them with a knot."

He said holding my nuptial chain in his hands. He slowly continued.

"But I didn't want you to become helpless because of the love you have in your heart for me. All the best."

"Thank you. Come downstairs. Break fast will become cold."

I said going down.

"One minute, Sakshi."

I found his tone sad. I looked at him with concern. He came near to me and cupped my face.

"Please take care of yourself. If you think necessary, call me immediately without hesitation. I will drop you and pick you everyday, because I can't take risk."

I held both his hands tightly assuring him to be worry free.

"I will be careful. Don't worry, please."

We both went downstairs and had the breakfast.

"Sakshi, what about our baby? I don't want our baby to face what all you gone through in your childhood. She should never miss parents' love."

I remembered my loneliness in my childhood.

"I will never make my child to miss me. I will leave anything for her," I said thinking about my past and how much I missed my parents.

He patted on my hand.

"Don't worry. I am always with you. As she is our child, responsibility to take care of her lies on both of us. When you are busy, I will take her responsibility and you too when I am busy."

"Yes, I asked mom to take care of her when we both leave to the office, because I can't trust outsiders. I can't leave my angel in someone else hands."

"Ok. That's better."

We both started from there. I signed the documents and took over the company.

I always dream of framing my career and being in high position. But fate played with me as it likes. I thought I lost everything including Randhir and career dreams. But everything came back to me.

But still I am scared. Because nothing is fine in my life. Randhir is thinking that Aayudh is dead. But the truth is still he is alive in a hospital in coma. I am taking care of his treatment till today. I closed my eyes trying to relax myself. Just then my phone rang.

"Hello, Ajay, how are you?"

"Sakshi, Aayudh came into conscious. He escaped from the hospital. Be careful. I think it's better to say the truth to Randhir."
