Chapter 37

Randhir's PoV:

Morning she woke up and took a shower. I got ready in another room and fed baby. I came to her with breakfast. I opened the door and she is wearing saree. I looked at her.

"I.. I am sorry," I said to her. She didn't reply.

"Breakfast," I kept on the table and saw her. She is struggling to wear the saree with one hand. I went near to her and she is going back. She hit the wall and stopped. I went near to her.

"Wh.. What?" She said seriously. I smiled at her. I helped her to wear saree. She didn't stop me instead I found tears in her eyes. I wiped her tears.

"Have your breakfast," I said and she sat on the bed. I fed her. She had calmly.

"Is it paining much?" I asked.

"Hmm," she said.

Her hairs are falling on her face. I took comb and combed her hairs. I slowly moved my fingers on her back.

"What are you doing?" She asked me.

"Combing your hair," I said placing my lips on her back.

"You... You.. Are.. Doing.. Something else," she said. This time her voice is not serious. So slowly her heart is melting. I didn't say anything and completed combing her hair.

She took her wallet and leaving.

"Sakshi, where are you going?" I asked.

"To office," she said.

"No. You are not allowed to go. Take rest," I said.

"Really? So Rude Randhir is back. I know you won't change," she said.

"Stop it, Sakshi. As you are unwell, I told you not to go to the office. Not to confine you to the home," I said.

"Who will take care of me, if I stay at home. I have no one," she said.

I cupped her face.

"Don't say it again and again. It hurts me so much. I am there for you to take care, love you, play with you, to fight and for everything," I said.

"How long, Randhir? Till you find some other reason to hurt me, right?" She asked with tears.

"No, Sakshi, till my last breathe," I said and tried to wipe her tears.

"Stop it, Randhir. Stay away from me," she shouted.

"What should I do to get your forgiveness? Can't you forgive me ever?" I asked her with tears because I am scared of losing her love and trust in me forever.

She averted her gaze from me. I know she can't see me in tears.

"Tell me about your family," she said slowly

"My family? It consists of you, our baby, myself and if you show any mercy on me then one more baby boy or baby girl," I said naughtily.

"Stupid," she shouted.

"What did you say?" I said seriously and I found expressions which says she got scared with my shouting.

"Hey, I was just kidding. You have right to scold me, sweety," I said.

"I want to know about your parents, Randhir."

"You already know that I am an orphan."

"Yes, but it's a lie. Randhir, many times you punished me saying I hid about my first marriage, Ajay's accident etc. But you too lied to me and hidden truth from me about your parents," she asked me.

"Which truth you want me to say? The truth where my father sold my mom for money and married another woman? Or the truth where I am tortured by my own father and his second wife?" I said closing my eyes remembering the past.

Sakshi came to me and patted on my shoulder.

"May I know what happened exactly?"

"My father married my mom saying he loved her. Mom used to question him for his illegal ways of getting contracts after the marriage. He used to be so rude to her. He used to torture her a lot.

Once for a contract, he sold my mom. After that he married my mom's sister. My father hates me too as I am the child of his hatred wife. As torture became unbearable, I escaped from home and someone joined me in orphanage.

Till now I don't know where is my mom. I searched a lot for her but I didn't find her.

I never saw pure love, Sakshi. Love is always mixed with greed, lust or power. I hated the word love until I saw you. After seeing you, I loved you.

But when you too behaved like my father and all others, I became really insane. I showed all the hatred on you losing my sense. I never knew that you cancelled your engagement realising that you love me. I am sorry, Sakshi," I said.

"Your dad met me yesterday requesting me to unite you both," she said.

"What the hell? Why did you meet him? Look, Sakshi, he is very dangerous. Don't believe his words."

"Giving second chance is necessary, Randhir."

"I can't give second chance to him who is not less than a beast. I can't forgive him. He sold my mom for his business. End this topic here itself. Or you too can leave me. I won't bother," I said and left home.
