Chapter 32

We got inside the car, which kind of surprised MD cause i expected the usual chariot. "Why didn't you used your usual chariot today?"

"I guess I wanted something different." He said shrugging.

The driver revved up the car, adjusted the rearview mirror to get a proper look at us at the back.

"Where to sir?"

"Let's first go to an ice cream shop shall we?"

"Very well sir."

The car parked the car at the curb, we both got out of the car and the cool breeze of autumn surrounded us in it's embrace. I was grateful that I took the initiative of wearing a sweater, however it's my legs that I feel for the most.

Kurt gave me his hands to hold and I held it, he gently guided me to the front doors of the ice cream shop, the door open up and I was awe at how pretty the shop looked.

It was splashed in different colors ranging from pink to purple to green to red, it was very colorful and vibrant plus the bright lights that was attached to the ceiling gave off the warm embrace as well.

We got to the front counter, in which there was a glass bottom that showed different flavors of ice cream that we could order.

The girl that was in front of the counter beamed at us and in a very chirpy voice asked: "Welcome to Daisy's diary and ice cream shop. What can I get for you?"

"Well I would take the plain vanilla along with raisins on top."

"Ok, vanilla and raisins. What about you?" The question was directed at me.

And my eyes peered at the flavors, they all looked tempting, but my mind was made up. "I would take cookies and creams."

"Cookies and creams," she softly said.

Then she took the scoop along with two bowls and scooped our different ice cream orders three times into our bowls. Kurt paid for it and we went outside and entered our car, I was already eating away at the ice cream. It tasted so good.

As I was blissfully enjoying the ice cream I looked to the side and saw that Kurt was looking at me with a smile on his face.

My eyes went to his hands where his ice cream was, untouched. "You are not licking your ice cream?"

"Not really a fan of ice cream like that."

I let out a slight pout, "why not?"

"It isn't something I fancy like that. Mostly due to how cold it is, I prefer warmer things."

Then it hit me, maybe I just haven't been paying that much attention but he really does prefer warmer things. Even in his meals, if it's cold he wouldn't bother himself to touch it.

"Well you are missing out a lot, cause ice cream taste heavenly," I said taking a spoonful–well as much as the little spoon they gave me could manage–and put inside my mouth, which was a very terrible idea, cause I suddenly was hit with something called brain freeze which made my hands to reach out for my head and rub my temples slowly trying to ease to ease the pain away.

I heard a laughter come from side and I turn to look at Kurt that was kneeling over as guffaw at me, I gave him a glare which didn't seem to faze him one bit as he kept on laughing at me.

I rolled my eyes, and continued eating my ice cream, this time in smaller bits as to avoid the mistakes that happened moments ago.

Kurt had stopped laughing and used a finger to wipe off an invisible tear, he then decided to also eat his almost melted ice cream as well.

After we were done eating the ice cream, the driver asked us where else are we going too, and Kurt answered an art museum.

I looked at him with a puzzles expression etched on my face.

"Don't give me that look, don't you see how my house is shrouded with different artwork."

I didn't say anything, I just decided to gaze out the window enjoying scenery as the car drove towards the museum.

****
I have never been to a museum in my life, so I don't know what to expect, I have only seen it in picture books.

The ceiling were very high, and in each part of it was an artwork from either a dead artist or a living one.

There was someone that was showing us the different artworks created and hand crafted by masters of the arts.

The place was silent and peaceful. There was a group of people that were hurdled by a specific art piece observing and commenting on it. I just stood there observing from a distance as I took a sip of the drink that was given to me by Kurt.

"You are not really a fan of museums are you?" Kurt asked, and I nodded my head slowly not really paying attention to what he just said.

"Well we can always go someplace else. Where else do you want to go?"

"Let's head to the park." I suggested turning my attention back to him.

"Ok let's go there then."

We got to the park and sat on the bench, we watched as water rippled across the lake, ducks swimming in it and rolling around. An old man stood by the corner of the lake and threw bread crumbs for the ducks to feed on.

Some people were throwing a flying disc to a dog and it jumped and caught it in his mouth.

I let out a soft sigh, I love moments like this, it seems so calm and serene almost like nothing could ruin such a beautiful day.

"You know, when I was at the battle between DarkNight Pack, we lost a lot of men, majority of them died a very sad death. It completely burdened my heart, but there was nothing that I could do about."

My hands reached for his, holding it, I rested my head on his shoulder. "It's ok," I said in a soothing voice. "It wasn't your fault. You did the best you could."

Then there was silence, as we just sat by each other's side, it felt comfortable. I like the fact that both me and Kurt feel comfortable enough to be able to have such skin contact with each other. I wonder if there could be more.

"Alexa?" A voice said behind us, my head whip around only to see the two people that I never thought that I would never see, even in the next life.
