Chapter 26 Just for Fun
The second day in Uphill Resort.
As the biggest money laundry place in Kanbley City, its frequenters were either rich or noble.
The truce agreement between the Greens and the Wilsons was appointed to sign there.
There were many people inside and outside. All the famous people from all walks of life were there.
Chirp.
A white Maybach stopped along the road.
Sandra got off from the passenger seat and attracted a lot of attention immediately.
She was in a black suit dress for the formal event. She ordered especially the V-neck collar.
Simple dress, simple makeup couldn't compromise her beautiful countenance.
The door man stumbled because he was gazing at her always, which aroused a round of laughers. And the young waiter flushed.
Clinton was sneering while noticing everything going on.
Sandra felt uneven inside, and tried to say something. At that moment she saw Eddie at the door with the corner of her eyes, who was waving towards her.
She noticed and walked towards him, but held by a powerful hand.
"Where are you going?"
His face turned dark.
For a lack of better response, Sandra didn't say anything, but brushed his hand to continue her way towards Eddie.
Eddie showed her to a corner and took out a box from his inner pocket and handed it over to her, with an ambiguous expression.
"This is what you asked for."
Sandra looked down to see the word of contraceptive clearly marked on the box.
She took it over in disguised carelessness.
"Thank you."
Eddie took a bottle of water and opened it and then handed over to her thoughtfully.
Sandra took two pills and then drank the water to go with. Afterwards she smiled lightly.
"Sorry to bother you with it, but I couldn't do it myself, so that I had to ask for your favor."
Eddie eyes were tainted with some red color, passively receptive.
His lips were trembling.
"... Sandra, did you do it on purpose?"
"...... "
Sandra paused and didn't respond. She lowered her eyes and left, holding the medicine.
That boy expressed so obviously, even if she was dumb, she could have understood some of his feeling.
But she couldn't respond to him.
Then it was the best way to let him understand to give it up.
Sandra was about to turn at the corner, a hand came suddenly to snatch the think in her hand away.
Maybe Sandra was swift in action, but it was still incomparable to the man who trained her.
"What did he give to you?"
Clinton narrowed his eagle eyes to look at the words on the box.
His eyes were filled with various emotions.
In the next second, he snatched her neck, spoke with gritting his teeth.
"Who told you to take pills? Who give you the permission to do so? Who agreed you shouldn't be pregnant with my baby?"
He didn't understand too how come he was so furious.
But at that moment he couldn't control himself.
He forgot even that he had ligation surgery. It didn't matter if she took pill or not.
Whose baby didn't she want?
Why!
Clinton's face was twisted and watching her face changed from pale to flush, even with sort of purple color.
Sandra couldn't fight his power, even though she tried her best to get rid of his wrist.
All the past popped up like slides in her mind. Suddenly, she smiled for no reason.
"Sir, have you forgotten we had a baby before.
You didn't want him, did you?"
If it was before, she would think she was too bold to say so at that moment.
But she had resentment against him at that time.
She had never spoke out anything for the aborted baby.
Never.
Her voice was weaker and weaker, but it was like a hammer punched on his heart.
His hand got loose unconsciously.
Sandra fell to the ground, and coughed severely.
The noise attracted the waiter who rushed over to be shocked.
"Mr. Green, Ms. Thompson, are you having a joke?"
Sandra touched her neck to cover the red mark on her fair skin, and curled up her lips.
"It's okay. We were having fun just now."
