Chapter 31 Filing Room

The door closed loudly and the world was in the dark again.
Sandra's heart sank into the abyss.
"Sir..."
She murmured and then nothing out of depression. His eyes full of loathing for her could be got rid of her mind.
She knew she lost completely.
She had nothing, so she couldn't step on her own dignity.
Her fingernails were deeply stuck in the ground and the nails broken with blood all over.
Her heart was dull.
Her breath was shorter and shorter with sweat sliding from her cheeks, till they dripped onto the cement ground.
Afterwards, Sandra lost consciousness.
Clinton took her out of the storage room, when she was almost in coma.
Her eyes were drifting together with her consciousness.
In the haziness, Sandra felt she was in a bed, and the door was closed carefully.
Then some talking in low voice.
"Her state of mind was abnormal, and she needs a doctor."
"Clinton, do you really want to forget what she did? After all, she started to doubt about how her father died."
"Shut up!"
It was the first time Clinton was harsh to Charlize.
Sandra could hear that they were discussing about her, now and then.
Without thinking it over in details, she fell asleep deeply.
When she woke up, the sun was half up in the sky, the clock on the wall clicking.
She sat up in bed to find the infusion connected to her hand with medicine dripping inside her vein, and her arm was cold.
She remembered what happened before.
She stole Clinton's dock deeds and eventually gave up her betrayal, and then she was locked in the storage.
Afterwards, she heard the conversation between Clinton and Charlize.
Suddenly she was fully awake with face turned extremely pale.
What Charlize said and what her brother said were haunting in her mind.
She didn't want to believe, but what she heard, saw meant only that his father's death had something to do with the Greens.
Sandra's heart was beating fast. She took off the needle and a lot of blood were dripping.
The crimson color made her feel even worse. She bit her lips and rushed back to the GreenHood.
GreenHood was the name for his followers coined by Mr. Green, senior when he finally succeeded.
Sandra liked that name a lot because it suited well Mr. Green, senior for his love and righteousness.
But at that moment she was uncertain about it.
If her father's death was caused by the Greens, then what was the reason Mr. Green, Senor adopted her?
Sandra arrived at the GreenHood, panting. As soon as she came into the living room, she heard Steven was shouting.
"Hurry! Put things away! What the hell are you doing ... Oh... Sandra came back?"
When he saw Sandra came in, he put on a smile immediately and came over.
Sandra had no time but just nodded her head and went straight to the topic with her left hand open.
"Give me the key to the files."
"The key?"
His face was embarrassed and murmured with his hand scratching his hair.
"I am sorry that Sir said he needed it recent days, so that he took the key away."
He took the key away?
Sandra couldn't believe and looked around to see a bulge at his wrist where he attached normally his keys.
"Give it to me."
She didn't want to say more but with the palm up, indifferently.
Steven knew she was determined as always, and she was Mrs. Green in addition, it was better not to offend her.
But Mr. Green told him not to...
"I repeat. Don't force me to use force."
She was out of patience.
She must go to the file room to check something.
Everything in the GreenHood was noted down, big or small. If the Greens did kill her father, there should be some traces.
Steven was hesitating with lots of reasons, which meant clearly that he refused to give her the key.
Sandra came over coldly and was going to use force to get the key, a stead voice sounded, from far to near.
"Sandra, who gave you the right to make noise in my territory?!"
