Chapter 47 Kill Him
Charlize closed the door to leave the woman's devastating cry behind.
She was so sad as if she wanted to cry out all her grievance.
Charlize smiled in triumph.
What she was suffering now, she experienced before.
Why should she lead such a miserable life while she was as innocent as a child under Clinton's umbrella?
Charlize moved slowly to her room, while her smile was freezing gradually.
When she was leaving her room, she left a fruit knife there deliberately.
She wouldn't be able to survive that pain, would she?
Would she commit suicide?
If only she was dead, she could have a better life.
...
When Clinton was back, it was a mess in the room.
The doctor at Sandra's door could do nothing with the servants around him. When they turned around to see Clinton as if he was the savior, but also like they met the devil, as they were afraid, he would take the anger out to them, so they moved a step back.
He was wondering what happened and had no time to change his shirt with blood but hurried inside.
"What happened?"
Today he went alone to meet Stefano Morris.
Even though they had more people, but he was determined to fight back, regardless of his own life, Stefano and his followers didn't gain upper hand at all, so at the end they reached an agreement of strategically partner relationship.
When the doctor saw he was in blood, he was frightened, but then he pointed towards the room with worries.
"Mrs. Green got excited suddenly for some reasons we had no clue. When the servant told me to come, she was like that already with knife in her hand and nobody could get closer..."
Clinton looked inside following his direction.
The woman was curled up in a corner, messy hair with a shining knife in her hand, wide but out-of-focus eyes.
Her look made his heart painful and he walked toward her without hesitation.
"Sandra."
The doctor was shocked but it was too late to stop him.
Clinton could care that much because her look made him go crazy. He embraced her into his arms and kissed her hair, regardless.
"It's okay, it's okay... I am late... my fault..."
Her body was stiff in his arms. She didn't hold him back or smile at him as usual.
The atmosphere was quiet and odd.
Clinton lowered his head to tidy her hair up and tried to dry her tears.
"Sandra... ouch!"
The rest words were stuck in his throat.
Sandra had no expression but stab her knife into his chest.
Her pale hand was tainted with blood.
It happened suddenly as quickly as lightening. Clinton even didn't feel any pain, and she withdrew the knife with force with laughter.
The crimson fluid splashed on their clothes; the blood was still warm.
Sandra's smile turned sinister gradually and stabbed him again determinedly.
"I kill you!"
"You are the killer. You killed my brother, and the Greens killed my brother! I kill you!"
The enormous pain spread from his heart to the limbs. His narrow eyes were wide open in shock and rolled over swiftly.
This time he escaped the knife from stabbing into the fatal part, but still it was on his shoulder.
The intensive pain made him moan, sweating like waterfall.
He held her hand with difficulty in order to stop her next movement. But subconsciously he was afraid to her too, so that he didn't toss her away.
Sandra was in rage and was not happy with his action. She held the knife with force and turned it around in the wound.
In his eyes he could only see the dark.
Finally, the people around came back the rushed over to separate them.
Sandra was out of her mind with her both legs kicking and cursing in her mouth.
"You are a devil; you should go to hell!"
The doctor came to inject inside her the tranquilizer and then rushed over to Clinton to stop his bleeding.
"Sir? Sir, can you hear me?"
The doctor's face was in front of him, blurring, and his voice became farther and farther.
His sweat damped his hair, and his eyes were losing focus, but his hand was tightly on the doctor and squeezed some worse from his throat.
"Send her... to the hospital... it's dangerous here..."
Sandra got insane suddenly. It was clear who triggered it.
He thought he couldn't stand any longer, so she must be sent out to be safe first.
Clinton's hand was so tight that the doctor's arm was almost in blue and black, at the end he nodded. Clinton fell into darkness without energy after relief.
