KESKA: “Well, yesterday, on the way to aikido lessons, the princes’ helped this lady against a group of bullies, let me be clear, bullies not rogues but I will let her tell you her story, I brought her here to stay until we could figure something out for her, father doesn’t know about her, and as I said you will have to talk to her to get her story and her bio, but it appears that she is his mate.” I tell him with a nod in the direction of Ailea, sitting at the table with her mate. “Thank you, I will have a chat with her.” “Let me introduce you to her, she has been through a bit of trauma.” I tell him. He nods. I lead him inside, and I step over to the table. “Ailea, this is Alpha Camron, he is your mate’s alpha, please tell him what you told me, he will be able to help you.” I tell her. I look at the rest of my group and motion to move outside to let them talk in private. They follow me out.
CAMRON: I get a very strange link from one of my warriors, seems he and a buddy, along with two others from a different pack, were out for a walk and one of them found his mate in a cabin in the woods. Then he says that a pup about 16 wants to talk to me, he said, she said something about me having a black eye. I have to chuckle, wondering what she is up to now. *“Is it the cabin we passed on the run yesterday?”* I asked. *“And be respectful to her, she did give me a black eye.”* I send back to my man. *“Yes.”* He sends back. Then, after my brief conversation with Kes, I came inside and sat down at the table with Ailea and her mate, one of my other warriors. “Ailea, I am Alpha Camron, as Kes said, I want you to tell me what happened to you, and how you ended up here.” I say softly to her. She nods her head. “You need to meet my son.” She says. I nod, and so does my warrior. “Joey, come meet your new papa, and alpha.” She calls. We see a pup, maybe about 4, come from what looks to be a bedroom. “Mama?” She waves him to come to her, and he runs to her and wraps his little arms around her. “Hi.” I hold out my hand to the little boy. “My name is Camron.” He looks to his mother; she nods to him, and he shakes my hand. “I’m Joey.” He says. “Hi Joey, I’m Smith.” My warrior introduces himself; I watch as Joey shakes his hand. I link my man. *“Take the boy outside and bond with him. I need to get her story, and I think she needs some time to adjust to having a mate.”* I tell him. He nods at me. “How would you like to go outside and come play with me and my friends?” He asked the little boy. Joey looks at his mother. “Go ahead, baby, I will be right here, and we will leave the door open so you can see me.” She tells him. I watch as Smith gets down to the boy’s level. "Would you like to meet my wolf?” he asked. I see the little boy’s face light up, and he nods his head with enthusiasm. They leave the cabin, leaving the door open. I am going to have to take notes, I know, so I asked her if there was any paper around. She hands me a sheet that has been colored on. “Sorry, it’s all I have.” I turn it over and write on the back side of it. I started to ask all the pertinent questions needed for the records. Then I ask her to tell me her story. I know the reputation of the Stone Claw Pack, but I never thought that it was as bad as what she is telling me. I have a pretty strong pack, and my warriors train every day. I have even gone so far as to trade trainers with some of the other packs near me to help strengthen all our packs. So, I’m not too worried about Stone Claw, but I also know they don’t play by the rules, so I am going to have to talk to Alpha Drake about doing some cross-training with his warriors and maybe even have a few on loan down the line if need be. After hearing Ailea's story, my mind starts going into overdrive. I have an idea, but we will all need to be on the same page, which includes the other two warriors I linked Smith. “Send one of the other warriors from the other pack in.” “Yes, Alpha.” “Ailea, I need you to pack yours and Joey’s things. I tell her. “Kes, please come in.” I call out. She comes in with the warrior behind her. “Just how much needs to be kept secret?” I ask her. “That she stayed on pack land, the fact that we helped her is of little issue, he knows we go off pack land for our lessons, but the fact that the princes were with us might get me in hot water.” She says. “Ok, I can work with that.” I say. “What’s your name?” I ask the warrior. “Parker.” He answers. “Please link your Alpha, and have him come here, I need to discuss something with him.” I say to him. He nods, and I watch as his eyes glaze over. Soon, Alpha Eric from Midnight Sky Pack shows up. I step out of the cabin and send Smith and Joey back in, so that they can talk and get to know each other, and she can share her story with him. I walk up to Alpha Eric with my hand out to shake hands with him and introduce myself to him. “So, what’s so secret that we need to meet out in the middle of nowhere?” He asked. “Well, I need your help in keeping a certain young lady from getting into trouble.” I tell him, with a nod in Keska's direction. “And just what kind of trouble would she be getting into?” “She helped a she-wolf yesterday, and gave her shelter, without her Alpha’s permission.” I tell him. “Along with the princes’ help.” I add. So, he knows the seriousness of the issue. “Tell me the whole story.” He says. “Happy to do so.” I give him the Cliff Notes version of the story, leaving out Ailea’s personal issues. “Keska takes Aikido lessons and leaves the pack lands to do so, yesterday the princes’ were with her and helped to save a she-wolf, and Keska gave her a place to stay to help keep her safe, then today as our warriors were out exploring the grounds, Kes was here to bring her some staples and as she opened the door our warriors passed by the cabin, and she is mated to my man. I can take care of the details of getting her back, it’s just the details of where they found her that I need your help with.” I say to him. He nods his head in understanding. “So, what’s the story going to be?” he asked me. “There is the human town about half mile up the road where Kes takes her lessons, I propose that they leave pack land go into town and say they found her in the restaurant or bakery.” I say, “and that will save the young lady in question from having to deal with any fall out and also keep the princes’ out of it as well.” I say. He nods in agreement.
