KESKA: As much as I would like, I can’t enter either of the other tournaments, as I need to keep a low profile as much as possible until Jessie leaves. I would love to be able to test my skills on the archery range against those who are here, it would be fun. But I think that after my dart game with Trever, I will need to take my leave and make my way to the cabin, that is, as long as Jessie is in Father’s office. Plus, the rest of them have some unfinished discussions, as well. And I have some research to do on the war that happened with Stone Claw. I link Mackie. *“Have you heard of the war that Alisha was talking about?” “No, we didn’t get that in history class.” “Maybe next year’s history?” “Maybe.”* I close the link. I then linked James. *“I am giving you a heads up on something that may or may not happen, but just in case it does, you will be a little prepared. Do you know of a war that happened over a 100 years ago that involved the Stone Claw Pack?” “I vaguely recall something, why?” “Well, there was a discussion about some things that happened during that war. Are you aware of the mate issue that happened yesterday?” “Yes, Dad told me.” “She is from Stone Claw. So, you might get pulled into the conversation, Alpha Camron thinks that there could be a possibility that they might cause trouble. I just wanted you to be aware.” “Why do I get the feeling that there is more behind this story than you are telling me?” “Maybe, but I am giving you an outline of what might come up. I have to go.”* I close the link and watch as Liam’s face lights up, and I just chuckle.

LIAM: I love the idea that Trever just gave me, I link dad. *“I have a question, and a favor to ask.” “Shoot.” “Well, Prince Trever just gave me an idea that we could have a tournament in darts and archery, but the money will need to be kept in the safe.” “Okay, and yes, but again, you will have to be in charge of the details.” “Thanks, Dad.” “Welcome, son.”* I get on the mic again. “May I have your attention again, please?” “We will also be running a tournament in darts, and archery, again the price of entry is $5.00, and again the rules are the same, alpha born, and ranked may not use any extra powers, or abilities, just skills, anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and lose their entry fee.” I announce. Then I link mom. *“Do you have any big manila envelopes?” “I have a few, why?” because I need 3 of them, to keep the money separate for the tournaments we are going to run.” “I will send them down with one of the omegas.” “Thanks, Mom you’re the best.”* I close the link.

KESKA: Once Trever came back, he, Dutch, Mackie, and I went into the game room, with the pool table out of the way, it was easier to set up the dart game. We actually got in two games, one, boys against girls, and then Trever and I against Dutch and Mackie. When it was boys against the girls, we girls won, but it was a close battle when we played couples. Mackie and Dutch beat us, but only by a couple of points. By then, though, they had also gone through a few games of pool as well, and it was starting to get later. I knew that I would have to get going, I was just waiting for Father to let me know that he had Jessie in his office so I could make my escape without her seeing. I get the link from him. *“I just called Jessie to my office.” “Ok.”* He closed the link. I open one to Mackie and Trever. *“Time for me and Mackie to go, Father just called Jessie in, wait for her to show back up,* *and then go and catch Father and James to finish the conversation from earlier, at Nana’s.”* I send to them. I just get a nod from Trever. Mackie and I go grab our stuff from my room and leave out the kitchen, grab our bikes, and head out. I am looking forward to being out there. I think it will be fun.

DRAKE: I link Jessie. *“Jessie, come to my office, please.” “Yes, daddy, on my way.”* I wait for the knock to come, “Enter.” I call out. “I am here, Daddy.” “Come sit. Keska has asked that you be released from the cells; she says that it isn’t teaching you anything anyway, and I am inclined to agree with her, so from here on out, you will be let out of the cells. I want you to know though your actions up to this point have not been becoming of either an Alpha or a Luna. I will expect better from you going forward. Don’t follow in your grandmother’s footsteps, she is not a good example to be trying to follow. Just ask your cousin, she caused a scene on HIS coronation day, a day that was supposed to be special for him, not her, and she would do the same to any one of you. Doing what you think she might do got you locked up. Trying to hurt or kill your sister is only going to hurt you in the long run. Even if you did succeed in killing her, then what? No more Keska. Would that make you genuinely happy? Humm? It would follow you around like a weight, knowing that you were the one that caused someone’s death, and not just anyone’s your sister’s, she is someone’s mate, what if you run into that person, and you learn that you were the reason they are alone, your actions caused them and others to be hurting, Liam would end up hating you.” “Do you really want to be known as a bully? An annoying bitch? Be the cause of your pack not getting treaties made? Because let me tell you, that has happened more than a few times to your grandfather because of your grandmother’s attitude, and she has yet to learn from her mistakes. Don’t become your grandmother.” I tell her. I see that she has tears in her eyes. Maybe my words have finally hit home; only time will tell. “You can go rejoin the ball.” I dismiss her. She nods and leaves my office. I just hope that Keska has gotten far enough away and that her scent has faded.

TREVER: I watch as Keska makes her way upstairs. I hate that she can’t stay, but I wouldn’t trust Jessie for anything. She has already caused her so much pain; they all have, at least I can see the effort that James is trying to put in, and after his Alpha training, maybe he will be worth something. I pull out my phone and send a text to Alpha Camron. (“Keska just went to collect her things to head to the cabin. She said that we should wait for Jessie to reappear and then go speak to the Alpha and James. I will get my brothers, I will leave it to you to get the others.”) I then linked my brothers. *“Barett, Trent, Keska said that we should make our move to finish the conversation we started at Lilly’s after Jessie makes an appearance.” “Do you have eyes on Jessie?” “Not yet, but Keska said that her father call her to his office, and she and Mackie went to get their stuff and head out to the cabin. I texted Alpha Camron to inform the Cold Moon group.” “We have eyes on the Alpha, so text him when you have eyes on Jessie, and we will take that as our cue to follow.” “Ok.”* I closed the link and waited, and watched the stairs. About 5 minutes later, I see Jessie come down, I texted Alpha Camron. (“It’s time.”) I go to the stairs and wait for the rest to join Dutch and me.
