DRAKE: I hear a knock on my door, but I don’t recognize the scent. “Come.” I call out. The door opens and in walks Star, Blake Blane, the 3 princes, their mates, and Alpha Camron and his mate. “To what do I owe the pleasure?” I asked them all. “Well, in part, Alpha Drake, I want to be able to link with my mate.” Trever blatantly states. “And they may have come up with a way I can do that without going through the marking and mating ceremony.” He waves his hand to the rest of the group. “But there is also another possible issue connected with it that you need to hear about, I guess.” Trever finishes. I look to Alpha Camron. “Can you elaborate?” I ask him. “Some, but I think that it’s Alisha that came up with the linking/marking issue.” He says. So, I turn my attention to her. “In my pack, we have some incredibly old text, relating to a war that was fought well over 100 years ago. In them, they describe marking specific members of three or four different packs to coordinate a simultaneous attack from different sides against a common enemy. I think that that might be a way to solve the prince’s dilemma of wanting to be able to link with Keska.” She explains. I contemplated that for several minutes. Unsure what to think. “You know that Keska is his mate?” “We all do.” I hear from Barett. It makes sense, I suppose they are brothers and their mates. “I will need to see these documents that you are talking about.” “Do you have a fax here?” She asked. “Yes.” “I will get someone to fax them over, I will need the number.” I write down the number to the fax machine and give it to her, and she then makes a phone call. Alpha Camron gets my attention. “While she is taking care of that issue for you, the part I need to speak to you about, you may want to get James here for.” He tells me. I open a link to James. *“Are you busy doing anything important?” “No.” “Good, come to my office, please.” “On our way.”* I close the link. “James and his mate, possibly Wyatt and his mate, are on their way.” I tell Camron. He nods. I look to Star and the Cold Moon twins. “What part do you have in all of this?” I asked them. “Well, you are still my Alpha, until I am inducted into the Cold Moon Pack as their Luna. I felt it was my duty to bring the two specific issues to your attention, plus Blake says that he remembers hearing, or reading, learning about the second part of this issue that Alpha Camron will speak to when James and Janica get here.” She tells me. She is right, it would have been her place to bring such things to my attention. There is a knock on my door. “Come.” I call out. James Janica, Wyatt, and Lexi come into my office. “Let’s take this into the conference room, we will have more room in there and the fax is in there as well.” I say to all of them. Leaving my office and walking down the hall and around the corner, I open another door and let them enter. The room was long and spacious, with a long, large oval table of bird’s eye maple in the middle of the room in a warm honey stain. There were comfortable swivel high-back chairs around it, done in a warm mahogany leather. It too had a view of the garden in the center of the house. Everyone took a seat, and I sat at the head of the table. As everyone was getting settled, the fax came through. As James was at the other end of the table, he grabbed it and passed it my way. “So now that I have these, let’s get to the second part of this issue you were talking about.” I turn to Alpha Camron. “First, I would ask that I, too, get a copy of them.” He nods to the documents in my hands. “I will get them copied.” I tell him, and he nods.

CAMRON: “The war in question, was against Stone Claw, I have no idea what is in those documents, but I think that we all should familiarize ourselves with what they say, I believe that my pack may become a target for them, but we can’t rule out that your pack may also be a target.” I say to Drake. “And as Keska said earlier, history repeats itself, and as Ailea was here, albeit just to be recognized as my guard's mate, she was still here, and you may be seen as aiding and abetting my pack. I don’t know a lot about them, but I know they are as nasty as they come when it comes to a fight.” I tell the group at large. “You believe that that one small incident could spark a war?” Drake asked. “I don’t know for sure, but from what I have heard about them, they have started fights for less.” “They recruit rouges for their battles so as not to lose as many of their fighters. In case of retaliation, they train the rouges to what their abilities are best suited for and then attack.” Blake says. “At least that is what I remember from my studies in school.” “Do you have any documents on that war?” I asked him. “I will contact our historians to see if they have anything else other than what is in the history books, but I will get that to you as well.” He says. “I remember reading that they also absorb smaller packs into theirs as they go, if they have a long march, so then they will incorporate those warriors into their pack as well.” James says. “Great!” Alpha Drake comments frustratedly. “So, there is a possibility that some of this is already underway.” He says. “If any of you know of any small packs between here and Stone Claw, please contact them, warn them. I don’t mean to start a panic, but they need to be prepared to evacuate so as not to get caught up in this issue if it is going to happen.” Drake says.

BARETT: I link Trever. *“I need Alpha Camron’s number. I know he is aware of the actual events of how things happened, but I think I need to remind him of something that could make this more of a probability than a possibility.”* Trever sends me Camron’s number and I close the link. I text Alpha Camron. (“This is Barett, there is something that you need to know, Trent Rachell and I killed 4 males when we rescued Ailea, I don’t know who they were, but I know that they had killed someone that was with her. So, if they were people of importance and they didn’t check in, then there is more than a possibility, more like a probability, that there could be a war. I know that they were not ranked, but they could have been sent. I will make sure that you get help from the royal pack to help in this matter, as it was we who killed them.”) I sent to him. I watch as he checks his phone, then he looks at me, and I just nod my head.
