THE BEGINNING:CHAPTE XXI:SECRETS

"Welcome back Melizar, we have been eagerly awaiting your pending arrival ever since you left for the Saji journey to the nearby city", Mavdon, the eldest elder said peering down from his colossal seat at the tiny advocate who stood amongst six elders including Tezmon who had ascended the spiral stairs made of polished stone to his seat way above the marble pavements  as soon as he stepped into the Magistrum chambers along with Melizar who ventured straight to the central part of the hall while the rest elders remained seated looking at him from above.
    "And here I am your eminence and greetings to the other elders as well. I have successfully carried out the mission although my reconnoiter was cut short by two beasts probably sent by the Sao clan to ward off spies trying to pry into their illegal activities, I still managed to get some vital Intel about their latest enterprise", Melizar replied with his masculine voice resounding loudly throughout the spacious hall.
      "That's very fortunate, so tell us what you were able to find out about their recent plans",  another elder name Karl rejoined in desperation to know what he had find ever since they lost contact with the sixth advocate whom they had sent to reconnoiter the Sao clan operations in Greaves.
      "I found out that they have been secretly working with some politicians from the human government in order to forge some kind of new weapon that will aid them carry out their evill plans. Although I was able to infiltrate one of their secret hideouts, I wasn't able to gather much Intel as to whom these politicians were and the location in which the experiment is being a", Melizar reported looking at the plain faces of his superiors.
        "Are you saying that some greedy humans are in secret collaboration with our adversaries?",  a female elder name Pinx  questioned, 
         "Unfortunately yes they are, but I'm not fully aware of what kind of deal they made with the Sao clan which I believe won't be good for us if they combine human resources with their strength to challenge our existence", Melizar replied turning to his left side in order to face the elder.
         "What do you mean exactly?", Tezmon inquired feeling curious to know what dangers awaits them if the Sao clan are fully involved in secret operatives with the help of humans.
          "During my mission, I was attacked by two ferocious beasts way different from the usual werewolf we usually hunt down a long time after picking up my trail in their secret hideouts. They were quite faster, more agile and more bigger than the original werewolves even their talons are huge way different from the original werewolves we used to hunt and more importantly, their blood are very different from ours including the adversaries but I managed to defeat them using advance combat techniques to slay them", Melizar replied looking at the transfixed faces of the elders especially Tezmon who was dumbstruck after listening to Melizar's response except for Mavdon who remained quiet.
"It seems our adversaries have bigger plans in achieving their greedy aims much more than what we anticipated they would actually have against and we gross underestimate their new leader, Sermond whom we thought would not be able to breed fear into the hearts of humans using his minions but to our greatest surprise, he has gone beyond the cycle of his clan to manipulate some greedy politicians into using their ill desire and wealth to make mutated bio wolfs using sheer modern scientific methods which have proven deadly to humans and nature as well in order for him to strengthen his secret battalions", Melizar explained further, "But as for us, we need to sabotage their grand plans before they acquire and create more bio wolfs and forge another weapons that can help us fight against this new threat which I believe will be more dangerous not only to us but to the human civilisation than ever before", He added looking at Mavdon who fixed his gaze squarely on the advocates.
"So, since you have encountered their new assets, tell us what kind of new weapon do you suggest we forge that will equip the advocates to be able to.match up their strength?", Mavdon inquired looking at the advocate with utter seriousness
"Thank you your eminence, I suggest we create an arsenal of advance weapons that could easily deliver more fatal blow in one stroke and infuse new techniques in our ancient clan martial arts that will increase the skills of the advocates especially the new acolytes that were recruited quite some time ago", Melizar suggested.
"We have all heard your opinion on how to prepare for the upcoming battle. You can leave us now to delibrate on what to do in this critical situation we have found ourselves in", Mavdon said and gestured on him to leave which he did but came back abruptly.
"Pardon me your eminence, I forgot to mention something else I found mysterious which might help us if we dig more fact about it", Melizar said looking awkwardly at Tezmon.
"Your apology is accepted and you can say it out right away but be fast about it since your help is needed in teaching some advanced fighting skills to the new recruits training in the courtyard", Karl replied waiting to hear what he had to say.
"As I was returning from my mission in Summervile which was cut short by two biowolfs through the snow mountains, I coincidentally saw a plane crash which occurred two nights ago and fell off the mountain down to the bottom quite farther from my cave which I sought refuge from the long walk. Then I went to see if anyone survived the crash and unexpectedly came across a dead corpse inside the wreck plane which had the same type of blood with the two biowolfs I slew in Summervile and rescued a baby who happens to be the only survivor of the crashed airplane", Melizar stated looking at the hard faces of the elders.
"And so you are implying that you brought the child here regardless of our code because you thought that the family of the child must be in danger of being killed by the Sao clan, right?", Mavdon questioned looking furious at him
"Exactly, and sadly, the child's parents are already dead which were possibly the primary targets of the Sao clan that could enable us to find out those humans who know the clan exist and as well working in cohorts with them", Melizar replied taking shufti glances at the bewildered face of Tezmon.
"I have heard what you are trying to say so now leave us for us to contemplate on the next step to take", Mavdon said suppressing his anger before resting his tired back on his large seat made of stone while Melizar made a slight bow and turned around walking out of the chambers leaving them to watch him striding on the long corridor until the iron doors were closed by the guards outside the Magistrum hall.
