Josie POV

two months later..

The past two months have been very exhausting and yet exciting for me being with Matthias. Our wedding is nearly right around the corner and it hasn't been easy, considering that this is a way for Matthias and me to save the company.

Paperwork, after paperwork finalizing my name under contracts that Bob has sent to us, I am now soon to become Mrs. Lekas.

I have to get used to that name that is going to get stuck with me as long as I'm in this marriage. It's a done deal, as long as I'm with Matthias, the Lekas Headquarters will be safe.

These past two months, I spent my time getting to know Matthias, like a lot lately. What he likes, dislikes. What ticks him off, how often he hangs out with Zach, the way he workouts out at least two or three times a week.

Sometimes, I catch myself staring hard while he's working out. He has the most beautiful face. Well defined, with a sharp jaw and angular cheekbones. The complexion of his skin going well with his ocean-like eyes.

Whenever he's done with his workout, he would pour himself a drink and bring the water to his lips. The fluid sensation pouring down his throat, creating a cool feeling deep inside of his stomach.

To me, that's fucking sexy.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in," I answered reflexively.

It was from Matthias. "How did it go today?" He asked, referring to Pierre's appointment for my dress and meeting up with Flynn for last-minute check-ups.

''Uh, it was good. As usual.''

''Good to hear.'' I couldn't help the nervousness tickling around my body as Matthias walked his way closer to me. ''I missed you,'' he whispers to me.

''How could you miss me? We work at the same job,'' I replied, jokingly and he smiles.

''Yeah, but, today was different you weren't here, I didn't see your beauty,'' he touched my chin softly with a little tap at the end.

"Why do you like me?" I whispered, my hands tracing the tie on his chest, connecting them with invisible lines like a dot.

"How could I not?" He replied, cupping my cheek so his beautiful eyes met my own. ''It's hard not to like you, you're so unique.''

''Unique?''

''Mm-hmm.''

''How?''

"Let me show you.''

Unexpectedly, his hand drifted to my hip. It settled there and he pulled me closer. I inhaled sharply. I was against his warm chest, chiseled to perfection.

I hesitantly looked up at him. The swirls of emotion I saw there made me gasp. Lust and desire.

As our lips crushed together, I felt like I was walking on air. It was magic, the way his lips connected with mine.

His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than I could have imagined and I opened my mouth with a low moan.

''Baby, we can't have sex here,'' I whispered to his lips.

''Yes we can,'' he whispered back.

Suddenly, there was a knock. It was loud and fast which brought to our attention. Matthias and I stood next to each other quickly, fixing our selves before we announced whoever to come in.

''Come in,'' Matthias said, the door unlocks slowly and it was Eugene with a file in his hand.

''Eugene?'' He questioned.

''Sorry sir, but uh, you have Bernard here he is willing to speak with you.'' Matthias raised his brows which made Eugene panic. ''Uh, I mean... I don't know, sir, I-I have no idea--''

''Eugene,'' Matthias interrupted.

''Oh my gosh, I'm getting fired,'' He panicked again.

''Eugene, you're not getting fired,'' Matthias laughed. ''Tell Bernard to meet me at my office by five.''

Eugene released a huge sigh and mouthed ''thank god''.

''Got it, sir,'' he said, leaving me and Matthias alone.

I let out a laugh and crossed my arms to Matthias.

''What?'' He smiled.

''How can you make Eugene that nervous to you? He's sweet.''

''I like Eugene, I tend to mess around with him, you know? Make him feel afraid of me."

''On purpose?''

He winked.

I laughed again with a sigh and replied ''Anyways, I got to go, I'm going to meet up with Maya at the mall.

''Okay I'll get security for you--''

''No please, don't--''

''Josie.''

''Matthias, I'll be fine on my own, I promise.''

''Are you sure?''

''Do you trust me?''

He sighed ''Yes, I trust you.''

"Honestly, Matthias is not a bad guy," I told Maya. "He's a good man and an even better businessman. And he's smart as hell. Sure, he might like to go out and have a little too much fun sometimes."

''Sometimes? She wiggled her brows. ''Do you mean that sexually?'' She did it again.

''Maya!'' I shrieked.

''What?!" She laughed. "Josie, it's clear that you've fallen in love with him."

My mind replayed the memory from the evening again and again. His lips against mine, his hands cuffing my ass so hard, our tongues, our moans in between the kisses, it was electrifying. I was smiling, and it was really because I knew it was true.

''See? You're blushing!'' Maya poked me. ''I'm surprised you survived, I heard that he drops women quickly in a
relationship.''

''Yeah, I know but it's different.''

''Why?''

I shrugged. ''Maybe because he feels the same way.''

''Matthias Lekas falls in love. That is going to be some headline news. I'd tell you that,'' she laughed which eventually made me laugh as well.

The day was almost over and I said goodbye to Maya. I told her to stay safe on her trip to Australia for her work assignment that she's going to do in the next month. I hugged her tightly as a tear slid down on my face, while we rocked back and forth slowly.

''Mm munchkin,'' she said, wiping her tears and mine away. ''I love you so much, and I want you to know that you can call me anytime, if there's a problem with you and Matthias please let me know.''

''I'll be fine Maya.''

"Just be careful, that's all I'm saying," She said.

''I will, I'll be okay. I promise you."

"With a cherry on top?"

I giggled. "Yes, absolutely."

Walking in back home, I've noticed that there were rose petals scattered around on the stairs. My eyes softened with happiness but curiously wondering what was going on.

Slowly, I went up to the stairs and followed the pedals that led to the bathroom.

''Hey you,'' Matthias said with a smile, turning around with his bathrobe. He puts down the candle near the window then dims down the lights with his electronic remote.

''Wh... What's going on?'' I said, trying my hardest not to blush too hard.

Matthias placed his arms around me and I leaned closer to him. The softness and gentle touch of his arm were against my neck, making my back ting.

''Don't worry about it,'' he whispers. ''Is that how you like it?" He said in a whisper again, gripping my ass.

The way he said those words ... I could feel myself getting wet.

''Yes, I do. Like a lot.''

He smiled innocently. Though I was pretty certain he knew perfectly well what he was doing. Softly his hands touched mine and he went on to stripping me down naked from head to toe.

''Get in,'' he said. I went inside the bathtub as he pours down Equate Beauty Lavender Foaming Bath. The bubbles were growing rapidly around my body and somehow I was geeking like a child the whole time.

Matthias takes off his robe and he was already naked. His six-pack abs were tight, smooth and tanned, with just the right amount of dark hair trickling down the center. His legs were strong and hard with huge thick thighs. His arms were muscled, but not too big and a small tattoo snaked across his upper arm, but I couldn't make out what it meant.

I came in closer to him and laid my back on his chest, while his hands were scanning all over my back and upper arms.

After a few seconds, I said, "You are so good with your hands."

"Thank you, you are good with...everything."

We both laughed. It felt nice to add a lighter mood to this incredible surreal situation.

''I can't believe we made this through with contracts and all, we're getting married less than a week.''

''Yeah, I know,'' he said but the tone was a bit awkward. I looked up to him and drew a smile, ''are you okay?''

''Yes, I am, I'm fine just overwhelmed and a lot on my mind. With a soft laugh, he leans forward with a soft kiss.

''Are you sure is there anything else you want to say?'' I whispered in between the kiss.

''No, nothing at all, I promise you.''
