Matthias POV

Over the past two months, I've spent my time preparing the marriage with Josie. The quality time of getting to know each other felt refreshing and for the first time, it feels good.

Learning what she likes, dislikes. Her pet peeves, anxiety, what makes her comfortable and whatnot. I'm surprised to say in a deeper connection, we are almost the same.

Josie is gentle.

I like watching her from afar when she gets out of the shower. The water droplets drip down from her to shoulders, and down to her scrumptious breasts. Her lips crave for my attention each time she compresses it timidly when her eyes meet mine.

It's fucking sexy, it turns me on. Like a lot.

''Are you sure is there anything else you want to say?''

''No, nothing at all, I promise you.''

I fucking lied. It was more than I wanted to say. I wanted to say more but I couldn't put the words in order, confessing my actual feelings to Josie.

Where do I even begin?

Josie, I think you're amazing?

I think you're beautiful.

Josie, I think I'm falling in-

''-Matthias?'' Josie interrupts my thoughts.

''Yeah?'' I took my wet left hand and ran through my eyes, waking myself up from my insane thoughts.

''You were spaced out, are you sure you're okay?"

''Yes, I'm... I'm okay.''

''Matthias,'' she said my name and I looked at her.

''I'm fine,'' I let out a nervous laugh ''It's been a long day, I promise you.''

The next morning I had an urgent meeting with everyone at the HQ. I made some rules, providing everyone to follow it, explaining what will happen when Josie and I tie the knot.

Right after the wedding, we'd be gone for about two weeks to Paris for our honeymoon. I already set up our hotel suites, paid for the sightseeing, and even chosen some of the restaurants we'd be eating while we're there.

''Lastly, I want Eugene to cover for Josie as the assistant and Zachary would be the lead. That is all, you're dismissed.''

''--Uh, Mr.Lekas, Zachary doesn't work here.''

''My friend trusts me than you, Sharron,'' Zach said with an evil smirk on his face.

''You don't even know about--''

''--About what? The stocking rates? The incomes? The shipments that we provide for many, many, many fashion companies.''

Sharron tightens her lips and storms out of the room while Zach and I snickered like little boys behind her back.

''Sharron hates me,'' Zach said.

''After all these years, she has too, she always wants the lead.''

''Yeah, like come on Shar, sharing is caring,'' he responded and I laugh.

''So, the wedding is around the corner. How are you feeling?''

I shrugged. ''I don't know, I mean at first it was the contract then obviously it's terminated because of my father's commands are way higher than I suspected. So, marrying Josie is the right thing for now to save the company.''

''True, and besides, you'd get rid her for quickly, not like you're into her.''

My eyes slowly went up an met with Zach's. He slowly widens his eyes with humor and placed two and two together; knowing that somehow I'm crushing hard on Josie.

''Ohhh,'' he chuckles. ''No way, Matthias,'' he touches his heart. ''This is new.''

I tightened my jaw, trying not to spazz out of Zach's childish moment right now. He raised his hands in surrender ''Hey, I don't blame you, you had no choice being able to hire her and now you're technically stuck with her. Yikes, didn't that coming.''

I quaffed down my water and pretend that I was in a hurry for a meeting. ''Gonna be late for another meeting,'' I gathered everything around me and pushed my chair in.

''Come on, Matthias, I was teasing!'' Zach laughs, poking me.

''Yeah, well, Zach you win. Okay? Maybe I am, I don't know... this feeling is weird.''

''So, you admit you're in love with her?'' He jiggles his brows in a rhythm.

I sighed. ''Bye, Zach.''
