The next morning, I was wide awake eating breakfast while the staff was surrounded by Matthias as he was giving out a new technique in our new house. After he dismissed, he took his plate from the counter and joined me eating breakfast.

Breakfast fled through and we were set to go back to the Lekas Headquarters. It's been a while since we've been there due to the fact we've tied the knot and went to our honeymoon right after.

Everything changed in the building, there were some changes around the lobby, parking lot, and the employees as well.

It was a different vibe and I enjoyed it.

''Good morning to Mr. and Mrs. Lekas,'' Eugene said to us. Matthias and I looked at each other and back to Eugene, who looked completely different from the last time we've seen him.

''Eugene, nice hair dye,'' Matthias said.

''Th-- thanks, it's something that I've always wanted to do,'' he replied, timidly. ''Anyways, here's a new key to the both of your offices, welcome back.'' He hands us the keys and we proceed to our new office.

''So we share our office now,'' I smirked.

''Maybe, we could have that tonight,'' his voice deepens.

''Hmm, I would love to. But, you know I promised Maya that I'll be spending time with her.''

''I guess I'll let you have your time.''

I kissed him on the cheek. ''Yeah, you could be with Zach and colleagues, go to a bar, have your night out while I have mine.''

"I love you," I blurted, his eyes widen. Happiness swirled around his pupils like it was the first day of summer.

I sat against the pillow while Maya came over with some junk food. We were watching Grey's Anatomy, just like the old days in high school.

''Doesn't this give you so many memories?'' Maya squealed as she unwraps her Twix.

''Mm, yeah,'' I grunted.

''You okay? You've been grunting since I've gotten here.''

''Oh, it's probably the time difference, you know I still think I'm in Paris,'' I laughed.

''Oh, true that, I'm still jet-lagged.''

''So, tell me about Alex,'' I said switching up the subject.

''You would not believe this motherfucker. He has a fucking girlfriend, the entire time we were talking I mean, can you believe him? No, scratch that, can you believe men these days. I thought we were good but noooo, his girlfriend wanted to come to me woman to woman talking about how I need to stay away from him and that he is the love of her life?! Fucking hell.''

''Sorry about that My,'' I rubbed her back.

''It's fine, it's crazy, I didn't see it coming.'' She looked at me and drew a smile then frowned, concerned about me. "Josie, are sure you're okay?"'

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, just got a little dizzy. I think I forgot to eat something, like a snack earlier."

It was a lie, but what else was there to say?

Maya, I think I'm pregnant.

''Let me get something light,' She says getting up from the couch. ''Did Shirley or the chefs packed anything?'' She said, looking around the kitchen.

''Maybe,'' I said back. ''I'm going to use the bathroom real quick, be right back.''

''Okay love.''

I went up to the stairs and went straight to the bathroom. My eyes were searching through the bathroom that had an earthy feel.

The walls were large format tiles of white honed travertine and the floor was made of dull brown tiles.

The vanities were of dark wood and the counters were brilliant white quartz. There was no bath but instead a huge walk-in shower with two giant showerheads.

I looked up at the cabinets and begin to look.

"Damn it, Shirley, where'd you place the pregnancy test,'' I said to myself. My hand caught the ClearBlue package from the far right and I took it over to me.

''Okay, let's do this.''

''Jo, I made some soup! Is that okay?'' Maya echoed through the bathroom door.

''Yeah, it's fine.''

''Okay and hurry up Derek is forced to make a choice. Rescue his marriage or maintain his new flame with Meredith,'' she said through the door.

''I'll be there," I echoed.

I've already seen the episode I'll be fine.

After following through the instructions, I set the timer to three minutes and leaned against the wall.

Adrenaline floods my system, It pumps and beats like it's trying to escape. I think my heart will explode and my eyes are wide with fear. I've never been this nervous in my entire life.

How would I know if this is a good thing? A bad thing? Matthias and I never talked about it, we were too busy about ''saving the company by getting married'' but not realize the outcome of our own relationship.

I couldn't breathe, it felt as if someone was choking me. My heart was racing and all I wanted to do was curl up into a ball and wait for someone to save me.

The timer went off.

''Shit,'' I whispered to myself.

Those words in a digital font.
