Chapter 27

"We tried our best-"I didn't let him continue what he had to say,he can't tell me this,she can't be,no way. I couldn't breathe properly, I couldn't think straight.She can't be....no she can't.

I grabbed him by the collar and raised him ,my eyes turning a hint darker.My father tried to stop me, continuously begging for me to stop,but his begging was drained by my anger, I could hear nothing,all I wanted was to strangle him for not doing his work right, although I was the cause of it all,she was gone.... and I caused her death. I tried closing my eyes to control my anger but even as I close them,I can still see her , smiling at me , this angered me more,we still had a long way to go, she just can't leave me,she can't leave us.

"I want you  to get your butt inside there and bring her back to me-"I said through gritted teeth,tears blinding me, I felt defeated and hopeless,she was my strength and light, I managed to be a good person because of her,where did I go wrong? Claiming her at first sight? Loving her or is it my obsession?!

"There's --nothing ---we can do sir,we tried all -we could ,she came when she was so --critical."the doctor stuttered while I gritted my teeth ,chocking him.

"There's nothing he can do son.Let him go, she is in a better place now."my father said.

"No!!!...she is not in a better place,her better place is here,with me, not anywhere else,she can't leave us Papa, I want her back!!!Dear God why do you hate me so much?What did I do,where did I go wrong, punish me and not her, bring her back to me, I can't take it anymore...." I trailed crying my heart out while Levi hugged me by my legs, crying too. I'm sorry son that I'm weak,I can't be strong.I can't accept this.I will die-

Alex came when he heard  the news, terrified and cursing me for giving her the chocolate.I would never let anyone insult me but at this circumstance, I accepted all the insults, I was tired to fight back.

"You imbecille! I curse the fucking day you two crossed paths."Alex retorted punching me, I felt like shit, I deserve this all.

"Doc, she's back, she's awaken!!" A nurse shouted as she emerged from the emergency room.The doctor rushed to the emergency room while I stood straight,I still had my hopes,she is back...God brought her back.

"She's a fighter I can say,her vitals are okay and there's no other sign that she is critical."the doctor announced making me sigh in relief, letting out a huge breathe I never knew I was holding.

"Can we see her?"I ask nervously.

"Yes but only one at a time, she needs to rest."the doctor said nonchalantly.

Alex without saying a word marched to the changing room,wearing the blue gown and mask, I was dying to see her,every single moment, I wanted to feel her skin,I wanted to kiss her lips, I wanted to hug her and never accept her leaving me, ever.

*10 mins later*

"She hasn't awaken yet,but you can go see her, I know you are dying too."he scoffed before passing me.

"Papa,I want to see mommy too."


"Okay son,we will go the two of us."Levi is a kid,I'm sure I'm allowed to go in with him.

We changed into the hospital attire, slowly turning the door knob, knowing that inside there lies the woman that owns my heart.There on the hospital bed,she laid,pale with no make up on but even in her sleep she managed to be beautiful,she still managed to make my heart beat.

I took the seat next to her after planting a kiss on her forehead,Levi kissing her all over making me chuckle, I get to see her again,my chance.

I took her hands in mine which fitted perfectly, bringing it close to my lips.

"Papa,I need to pee,can I go?"Levi asks.

"Yes son,grandpa will take you there,I'll stay  here with mommy okay?"

"Yes dad."he says as he rushes outside causing me to shush him since he was creating disturbance to his mother.

"Angel, I miss you so much, open your eyes soon okay,I'm dying to lost and be drawn inside them, I'm so--sorry and I love you so much."I said kissing her cheek and forehead and could feel the cold substance trailing down my cheek.

"See you soon."I kissed her once again and stood up to leave only to be pulled back and come face to face with Rina.

Without saying a word,she crashed her lips with mine,at first taking me aback but then I could not resist her,her soft pump limps that I was craving to devour. I placed my hand behind her head,the other capturing her jaw line, deepening the kiss.Our tongues fighting for dominance,which of course, I won.

I can say it was the longest kiss we shared,a kiss to cover for every single moment that passed,to cover all the fear I had,a kiss to celebrate having her back,she broke the kiss first bringing her forehead against mine.

"Don't blame yourself for anything Xavier,I'm back ain't I?"she says trailing my cheek with her thumb.

"You scared me, I thought I lost you and I hated myself, don't ever try to leave me angel, don't."I whispered and tightly hugged her.After a huge storm,full of hailstorms ,huge wind,always,there will always be calm and serenity.
