His Mate

Quentin's Pov:

I woke up from my deep slumber with sweat dripping from my forehead. I heard a sweet feminine voice beside me and red long nails touched my bicep making tingles spread all over my body.

" Are you alright? Quen!" I love hearing her voice but at the same time guilty for having dreams about someone I don't know. I don't know for how long she is occupying my dreams. Some of them I can't call them dreams as I willingly created the illusion to be in her dreams and one of them is the recent one where I felt her presence so strong and it felt real.

I don't know why I did that, something urged me rather pulled me and I am standing behind her. As usual, I can only be able to see her long brown hair and grey-green eyes which held so many secrets.

My thoughts were cut off by the hands roaming around my body and I am being straddled by none other than my lovely mate, veronica. I groaned aroused by her scent and her body. She is such a tease and knows how to control my body in bed.

Iam a fierce warrior and a king but coming to my mate I am nothing but a calm and patient mate to her. I am very lucky to find her after waiting for so long. I lost the hope of ever getting a mate in my immortal life but I was blessed with a beautiful mate.

She was always in front of me but I never felt like she was my mate, maybe her being younger than me have to do something with it. She went somewhere when she was reaching the age of finding a mate and that was one of the reasons for me to wait again.

When she came back a week before I was hit by a mouth-watering smell and I instantly knew that she was my mate by the scent and the connection which passed between us. I didn't delay in mating and we mated two days before and I am going to make her a queen in a week I am happy that finally, I found my mate and queen for my kingdom.

" Yes, Iam alright!" I rasped out, her hips started moving to make my erection come alive and it didn't disappoint. We are both panting, dry humping each other and the tingles are spreading all over my body from her touch and the mate bond is buzzing around us.

I closed my eyes from the pleasure I am receiving and I am instantly struck by the same grey-green eyes which I was seeing in my dreams. My heart ached for unknown reasons and my erection started turning soft but I don't want some unknown reasons to ruin the time between me and my mate.

My jaw clenched hard and I pushed back every thought of her and concentrated on what veronica is doing and it worked.

When I and Veronica mated two days ago, I felt pain and anguish wash over me to halt inside her. My heart felt like I was doing something wrong like someone is hurting too but how can mating with my mate feels wrong? It was the best feeling any demon can feel.

" I want you Quen! I want you inside me, filling me up." Veronica moaned out crashing her lips on mine and instantly I started kissing her back tuning out everything other than my mate and her feel on my body.

I flipped us in an instant and now I am the one straddling her, my mouth is still attached to hers and we are attacking each other like hungry animals. We haven't had s*x in two days and it was so hard to stop us from doing it but we were so busy preparing for the coronation of Veronica as a queen and I was being busy with the court.

Our clothes landed somewhere in the room, her legs circled my hips, and with one push I am inside her and she gasped and moaned at the same time. I halt again feeling the same ache in my heart and the feelings of pain and anguish washed over me.

" Quen? What happened?" Veronica asked with frustration and that broke whatever trance I was having and I started moving my hips and my member In her core hardly.

Our groans and moans filled the chamber and I know everyone outside can hear Veronica as she is so vocal. I yelled, " Come in!" And my guard entered the chamber bowing his head.

" What is it?" I asked, waiting for him to tell me the reason he came.

" Everyone is waiting in the courtroom and waiting for your majesty and first in commander asked me to convey the message, your majesty." The guard informed and I dismissed him with my hand and he left the chamber closing the door behind him.

" Do you have to go now?" Veronica pouted beside me and she looks cute whenever she pouts. I pecked her pouted lips and grudgingly removed my body from her to sit.

" Yes, and don't worry I will have breakfast with you before leaving for the courtroom, what do you say?" I asked, her smile widened and she sat up on the bed excited and hugged me before disappearing into the closet.

I chuckled after her and entered the bathroom to get ready for breakfast and the courtroom. I have to gather everyone to tell them about the security measures they have to take on the day of the coronation.

Veronica is my mate and she will be a target for my enemies and I don't want anyone to harm her in any way. I don't know what will I do if someone harms her. I shake my head to remove all the thoughts and just focused on the breakfast with my mate.
