Silver Hair & a tattoo

" Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked her but she has the same surprise and shock on her face. What is she seeing? Am I bleeding through my nose and ears? But I don't feel anything.

" Aiza!" The same voice called out my name but this time I am not surprised. Is it my own voice I am listening to in my head? I don't want to think about it.

" Y….You Changed!" She said, still in a daze. What change?

" What change? Did I get horns on my head?" I joked, touching my hair my hair feels the same but it feels extra smooth.

" It's not time to crack jokes, Aiza! I am serious. You have changed! I mean, your hair, eyes, and everything." She roamed her eyes around pointing out her words.

" What do you mean? My hair, eyes, and everything changed. How is it possible?" I stood up from the floor, Emily following me to her mirror. I stood in front of the mirror and a gasp left my mouth, my eyes got wide with surprise and shock.

How is this possible? What the hell happened? I turned towards Emily who has the " I told you " expression on her face.

" H….How? What?" I stuttered, no words are coming out of my mouth. How is this even possible? How can my hair color change from black to silver and how do my eyes have green and blue colors mixed with grey? My features have become more prominent.

" I don't know, Aiza! But whatever happened is something big. Are you feeling any more changes in you?" She asked, waiting for my answer.

" I can see better than before and every sense is heightened!" I blabbered out hurriedly.

" And I am hearing someone in my head like, it's a woman's voice and she is calling my name." Her brows dipped in confusion and worry by words.

" We need to go to the library or to someone who can tell what happened and what is happening to you," Emily said.

" Okay, then let's go!" I turned around towards the door to go to the library first but stood at the door hearing Emily gasp.

" What is it now?" I asked, turning towards her. I can't take any more surprises now. These surprises are enough for now.

" Did you get a tattoo on your neck?" She asked, what is she talking about? A tattoo? I touched my neck to feel tingles on my fingertips.

" What the fudge is this?" I ran towards the mirror and faced Emily, who stood in front of me with a small mirror so I could see the tattoo.

It's the tattoo of a dragon and a woman with silver hair entangled with each other. I gasped looking at the beautiful tattoo which took my breath away. The dragon and the silver-haired woman looked so exotic and something stirred inside me like awe and love.

" That is us and our mate, Aiza!" The same voice whispered in my head breaking me from my thoughts. Is she my other half like how the devils and other species have their other halves? Everything is so jumbled and confusing.

" I think I have a pet or something like the demons/ devils! The voice in my head just said that it is us and our mate." I told Emily who had a curious look on her face.

" Umm, possible. Let's go to the library first but wait, we have to go to your home to convince your parents." She suggested, I don't know how I can face my parents with all these changes. My hair has changed so drastically and I have to lie to them.

" Yes, You are right! We should first stop by my house then we can go to the library." I said, taking my bag and leaving her room. Emily followed me outside, locking her door. I can able to hear everything so clearly like I can hear Emily's heartbeat.

" Aiza! We should start our journey to the palace soon, maybe in a day or two because looking at all the things happening to you is concerning me and maybe we will be able to find all the answers in the palace." She is right, I can't get any answer here. We should leave this coven to find the answers soon before I lose my mind with all these things.

" Yes, but we have to be careful with my brothers. They can easily catch lies even from afar." I warned her, I am so bad at lying that they will catch me in the act even if I didn't say anything.

" Leave everything to me and just answer when needed and don't overreact please." I rolled my eyes at her to which she laughed. I don't overreact, I just don't know how to lie and act.

" I don't have energy, can we just teleport?" I asked, sheepishly. Emily chuckled and we both closed our eyes and in a second we were standing in front of my house. I can smell the flowers from my garden and I can tell all the names of the flowers by their scent. With my senses enhanced I can smell them so strong.

" All the best and please don't do or say anything which is not necessary and more importantly don't panic. I will manage everything, okay?" I nodded at her, smoothing down my hair.

" And we will tell them that we dyed your hair for a change, okay?" She blabbered out. She is looking tenser than me. If she keeps up with this then they are going to find out that we are lying.

" If you panic like this then they will tell instantly that we are cooking something together and me going to the palace will be canceled. So just take a deep breath and let's go." I placed my hand on her to calm herself and me.

" Wait a minute! I want to check something." I closed my eyes and tried to hear who is there in the house and I can hear four heartbeats indicating that my parents and brothers are present in the house.

" What is it?" Emily asked.

" I was just listening to their heartbeats." Surprise was written all over her face. I haven't told her exactly that I can hear the heartbeats too.

" Can you hear them?" I nodded my head at her to which she squealed like a child.

" I can't wait to see what more you can do." I laughed at her happiness.

" Yeah, Yeah! Let's go inside first." I hope everything goes well inside. I really needed to go to the palace to find my mate if he exists and I want to know about the women inside me and my true identity.
