Veronica's Pov:

" Maya! Where the hell is the maid who is going to apply a face mask? I want her here in a minute." I yelled out at my incompetent maid who is so slow in everything making my blood boil. I will show, everyone, how cruel I can be once I become the official queen.

" Your Highness! The maids are here." She meeked giving the space for them to enter.

" what took you so long?" I glared at the silver-haired girl who dared to offend me by making eye contact with me on her first day. Something about her doesn't sit well with me. She looks innocent and meek but her eyes feel like fire burning through her. I scoffed at my thoughts of her being something other than her pathetic self. No one is as strong as me in the world, I am the daughter of the Dracul and no one is more powerful than me.

" Sorry, your highness! I was preparing the beauty mask for your skin and it took some time." She answered looking down at the ground. I smirked at her knowing that everyone learns eventually the rules and tricks of surviving. Fear for your life will make you even grovel at someone's feet. I feel pity sometimes for these lowly people for their lowly lives where have to struggle for everything, even for their freedom.

" Okay, Okay, let's get with it." I dismissed her uninterested in her excuses or whatever. I just want to concentrate on myself and for my big day tomorrow. Thinking about tomorrow makes me feel all giddy and excited.

I closed my eyes and wait for her to start whatever she is going to do. I am just waiting for a chance to punish her. I don't know why but my pet vera despises her and growls whenever she is near us and Quen.

I just want a chance to punish her and I'm sure I will get more than one chance.

I don't know when I fell into a deep sleep but I woke up to the annoying voice of the silver-haired maid waking me. I glared at her for waking me up from my peaceful sleep.

" What?" I growled at her to which she jumped in fear, but it looks like she was acting as if getting afraid. I narrowed my eyes at her studying her features to know what her true intention and nature are.

" Your Highness! I have cleaned your face and if you want I can bring the mirror so you can check." She whispered her words but they came off strong.

" Okay, get the mirror," I smirked knowing if I don't see any difference then I know how to find my entertainment.

She hurriedly asked for the mirror and bring it towards me still bowing her head down. The smirk on my face didn't leave even when she stood in front of me and I can sense fear from her but not as much as I like to smell the fear from her.

I signaled her to stand in front of me with the mirror and she stood. My eyes raised to look at my face, what I saw in the mirror made my eyes widen in shock and surprise. My face is practically glowing, I raised my fingers to touch my skin and feel it so soft that I have never felt it before.

I hummed in approval before dismissing her. She has good luck in not getting punished by me. There will be many chances and mistakes no one can miss without committing.

" And Ah! Send the seamstress and tell her to bring the gown with her." I dismissed her again after I ordered her.

I want everything to be perfect and go according to my plan. I have done so many questionable things and sacrificed so many things to be here and I don't want anyone to spoil it for me.

I was so in my thoughts that I didn't hear the whisper in my ear and the overwhelming presence in the room. I know who has come to visit me, as much as I am desperate to become the Queen, someone is much more desperate than me.

" Everyone Out! And don't let anyone enter my chambers till I call out not even His Majesty." I ordered my maids and they all scurried away in fear.

" What are you doing here?" I hissed feeling him behind me and his thin fingers sliding from my neck to my chest making me feel grow hot with his touch.

" I came to see you, my love!" He hissed in his deep natural tone and I can feel his hot breath on the shell of my ear and I lost every sense. How can he make me putty in his hands without even properly touching me?

" It is dangerous for both of us to be in the same place. What if Quen finds us both in here?" I whispered out, he starts leaving feathery kisses along my jaw to the neck. He is not in his form but invisible to a human eye, I am only feeling his touch.

" No one can see me, my love. As long as I don't want them to see me. Did you forget about my little trick?" I moaned out when his hands found my neck and started squeezing slowly. He knows that I love when he does that and it will make me go mad.

" It's been so long that I have not been inside you, My love and I can't wait for a second longer to dive into your warm c**t." He pulled me from the chair and ripped my dress making me stand naked Infront of his eyes.
