"So what?" I say to her, "My gown is not going to be ready or what did you say?"
The guy swallow harder, " I'm sorry but that's not what I meant."
I feel quick surge of anger, " So what do you mean? My wedding is in two weeks and I can't find my dress. Why?"
" Hey, easy bae," Dave walks out and pull me into a tight hug. He kisses me on my forehead and turn to look at the guy before me, "You are dismissed!"
The guy looks up at him, with a grateful eyes before he rushes out.
"C'mon dear, you've been acting so angry this days, why?"
I look up at him and blush slightly. Who could say I would love this man so much today or who could have predict we would be having our marriage ceremony in two weeks time?
My mom is currently busy with all stuffs. She has also be promoted. OMG, she earns almost one million at work.
And my brother is the most happiest. He's getting popular in school. I'm sure hes going to be the headbou soon.
Everything is going smoothly.
And well, Nancy got married last month and I was her best lady. I told her I was going to leave the single life soon.
Michael is also getting married soon.
Actually, we are having it together.
And she has gotten her dress but I'm finding it hard to do mine. What kind of a luck is that?
Dave tickles me and i laugh, "What were you thinking of?"
"You!" I say and he nibble on my ear.
"I have a surprise for you!"
A loud horn sounds outside immediately. He pulls back, a sly smile on his face, "Come on," he says and pulls me up.
He walk me out into the compound. I watch a young lady walk down from the car. She goes into the booth and brings out a big bag.
She walks closer, "Hi."
"Hi," I greets and realize Dave didn't. Perhaps they've talked on phone.
I know it's a surprise from him but I wonder what it's all about.
"Is everything intact?" Dave asks, his left arm pulling me so close to him as if he's afraid someone might snatch me away from him.
I've been living in his house all this while. We go to the office together and we return home together. The only thing I didn't allow him to do was to touch me.
Though, I know that's inevitable soon. Well, he will be my husband and can touch me at any place and at anytime.
Nancy asked me something like this days back. I can't help but laugh. But well, Dave is my first boyfriend.
"Yes, all intact," the lady says and stretch out the bag towards him.
He collects and nod briefly. The lady bows slightly and walks back to the car. She enters and drive out of the compound.
We watch her drive out of sight before I turn to look at Dave, "What was that?"
He turns me around and transfer the bag to his other hand, "Let's go and find out, shall we?"
Well, I'm not surprised. Dave have been giving me different gifts these days.
We walk back to the living room before Dave drop the bag on the chair before me, "Go through it!"
He lets go of me and I move nearer to the bag. I unzip it and almost gasp.
I bring out a white long wedding gown.
OMG! I almost scream. I search further and bring out a glass shoe.
I turn to Dave and jump in his arm, "Thank you Davw!" I scream.
"I love you Dave!" He says to my ear.
"I love you too."
I rush inside my room and pick my phone. I place a call to my mom. She picks up immediately.
Actually,I told her to help me get my wedding dress since the one I ordered for won't get delivered before the wedding day.
"Hi darling."
"Mom, guess what? Dave just me a nice wedding dress and the shoe."
" OMG!" She exclaim softly, " I'm so happy. So, finally this wedding is going to hold?"
I nod briefly, happily then remember she can't even see me, "Definitely mom, this wedding is really going to hold. I can't wait to be married to Dave. "
She laughs, " I can't wait for that to happen either."
So, that's it! Happily ever after!
