Chapter XXXII
"You did what?!" Marlou asked for the nth time, shrieking in thrill.
"Stop!" I threw him my pillow. "Kill me now, Marlou! I did something horrible to my boss! That's harassment for him, right?"
He chuckled, grinning. "Well, if you consent to him and he allows it, then it is not harassment." I groaned, not feeling well with his answer. "Girl, I told you. If he kissed you like there was no tomorrow, I guarantee that he has some hots on you. He is attracted to you as well. Rejoice!"
"Fuck you..." I frowned. "This is going to be awkward this Monday... I can't see myself showing before him. What if he tries to imply something?" I asked.
"Duh!" Marlou rolled his eyes. "If it is just a freaking make-out, this shouldn't be a big deal to you regardless if you knew that person. Don't you remember Calvin? Isn't he your officemate?"
"Was," I corrected him. "He already resigned." Calvin was one of my colleagues when I was still an associate from Huntington Inc. We made out in the pantry and had foreplay before. It was only a one-time thing but I had come to like it.
He twitched his lips. "Until now it was still weird that he resigned the next day after your fateful encounter with him." He shrugged.
"I agree." I chuckled. I almost forgot about that part but here I was contemplating what happened to Calvin back then. I knew that he was not planning to resign back then but he just surprised us that he was leaving the company. "Well, that was in the past though. Going back to Sebastian!" I raised my voice, almost panicking.
Marlou hit me with my pillow. "Just act normal as always, Cejay. You can handle it." He rolled his eyes.
"But we are talking about the CEO and President here, Marlou! I had a nasty moment with him in the changing room!" I groaned and buried my face in the pillow.
"Chill, girl," he said and caressed my back. He kept doing that so I was gradually calming down. "So, how are you going to rate his kiss? Rate it from one to ten. One is the lowest, ten is the highest."
I turned my head, glaring at him. "Seriously?" I squinted my eyes at him.
"Well? Don't you use that attitude on me? That won't work." He huffed. "Go on. Tell me now," he urged me.
"Ten," I answered immediately. It was no use to prolong this because I already knew earlier what I should rate about it. "He is a fucking good kisser..." I mindlessly said.
"Ah-ha! I knew it! You like him!"
I rolled my eyes, huffing. "He is fucking handsome, yes. But I could have wished he would lessen that kind of attitude from him. Then I will like him more." I shrugged. "Well, just a crush so... it wouldn't last long."
"Well, we never know about that."
"Huh..."
"Don't say with finality, Cejay. Why don't you ask him for a date?"
"Hell no!" I got up, looking at him in disbelief. "Are you hearing yourself, Marlou?"
"Why not? He is single. You are single." Shrugging, he looked at the ceiling.
"He has loved a woman for sixteen years, girl. He is going to confess with her soon." Ah, shit. I even got to kiss him before he would kiss his woman.
Marlou had a dejected expression. "That sucks... You two look perfect for each other. Move on now. I know you can handle acting as if nothing happened."
"Yeah..." Somehow, I felt dejected as well.
It was the weekend. Marlou and I did a general cleaning every week. As soon as we finished, he went out and reminded me about the blind date for later.
"I'll go." I waved my hand at him before I returned to the couch to slack off some time.
I started preparing for my blind date tonight. I had been wanting to fool around again even though men didn't satisfy me a lot. Perhaps, I might try to loosen up, yeah? I wanted to experience having sex with someone, too. I was tired of oral. I want some penetration, too.
Then an image of Sebastian sucking my nipples came to my mind. I immediately cast that memory away but I surely found it hot again no matter what happened.
I arrived at the Rose Velvet just as the time was near to 8 PM. I even told the receptionist that I was here to look for Noah Reeve's reservation. She led me where the table was as I waited there.
I even got a text from Marlou if I was there already and told him yes. I creased my forehead because he told me that he had been calling Noah but he was not picking up.
"Do you think he ditches me?" I asked, perplexed. "Because I have been waiting here for thirty minutes already. I don't like waiting here for nothing, Marlou." I frowned and drank more water. I even ordered some appetizers to satiate my hunger right now. I was pissed off as well that this was happening.
"I don't think so. He said that he is excited to see and meet you. And now, he is not answering my calls. I wonder what happened to him." There was confusion smeared on his tone. I could tell that he was also worried about him.
"I'll wait another thirty minutes here. If that man doesn't show up, I'm not gonna have a blind date with him ever again." Marlou apologized to me before I ended the call. "Goddamn it..." I silently hissed in annoyance.
I never liked waiting for someone like this. They were disrespecting my time. If they said that it must be 8PM, they must be here early.
"This isn't the first time I experienced this..." I murmured, half-annoyed.
I looked at the appetizer I finished eating. I could never enjoy eating in a very fancy restaurant with a little food on a plate and the pricing was too luxurious. I had the capability to pay for them but I didn't really enjoy the food even though I said that they tasted delicious.
It would never satisfy my hunger at least.
"Ditch by your own date?"
I stiffened upon hearing that familiar baritone voice. A manly figure came to halt in front of my body as I shivered, not wanting to look up.
But it was already too late because he sat down across from me and he was smiling like one of those normal days he was not being bipolar.
"Sir Sebastian..." I called his name, breathless.
