Chapter 45
You know how they say 'all great things must come to an end.'
The one hally month i have spent without Lucy Chaw around was a blessing that comes to an end... Today. Work had been so easy without some witch constantly trying to ruin my life. But now, the ice queen is coming back and i know that i need to prepare because i am in for a whole lot of hurt.
As i was walking towards.my office, i saw Lucy Chaw walking towards my direction. I drew in a big breath and waited for her to drop her vile snarky comment.
But to my surprise, she just kept on walking and completely ignored me. That's a new one.
I walked in and looked at Oliver confusedly.
This morning, i woke up to find out that Oliver had used the bathroom early before me and left for work... Without me.
So imagine my confusion to this odd day.
"What's up?" He asked as he stared back at me from behind his desk.
"Lucy Chaw is acting weird and you left for work without me." I answered as i moved over to my own desk.
"How is she acting weird?"
I paused for a while to think about it before looking over to Oliver.
"I don't know. She walked by me as if she didn't even see me. Even her signature glare was absent."
Oliver sighed as he looked down at all the papers spread on his desk "maybe she got tired of acting like a child."
His answer shocked me. The old Oliver wouldn't have said that. The old Oliver would have been worried about her. But every since we moved in together, his opinion on Lucy Chaw has drastically changed.
Not that i mind but i feel like there is something i should know about his sudden loss of interest.
"Uhu...and...why did you left for work without me? And since when did you start getting up so early to use the bathroom."
Oliver glanced up at me before directing his focus back on the papers and shrugged both of his shoulders.
"You weren't up as early as you used to and i though maybe being an early riser would be good for me." His answer didn't satisfy me. But before i could rain down more questions he looked up at me again and nodded towards a little box on my desk that i haven't paid attention to until just now.
"I saw the boss walking out of our office this morning. I think he left that for you."
All the questions i had for Oliver disappeared as i looked at the new yet very familiar box. It's the box that those special mugs are delivered in.
I held my breath as i reached for the box. It felt like time stopped as i slowly flicked the box open and looked inside.
Sure enough, there is a mug.
My first instincts is to shut it back and throw it away. But mt heart wouldn't let me.
I subconsciously reached in to the box and pulled out the mug. My heart skipped a beat as i turned it around to see what was written on the side.
"Word's best tie tier."
I didn't want to. But i couldn't help it. I slowly turned the mug upside down to read what he had witten at the bottom.
"From sea blue eyes."
I quickly shoved the mug back it to its box and placed it back on top of my desk. I just stared at it for what felt like an eternity.
Why is he doing this to me? Is this his way of torturing me or something. I saw him with Lucy Chaw. He has already moved on so why the hell won't he let me do the same.
I snatched the box off the desk and dropped it at the bottom drawer.
"You okay?" Oliver asked and i nodded my head before powering up my computer.
But as i tried to focus on my work, my though kept drifting over to Shawn and the mug that is probably burning a whole through my desk drawer.
He is never letting me move on, is he.

I walked up to my apartment with Iven by my side. We had been talking about the small and the big and i had mentioned to him about the evil witch at qork who now seems to be minding her own business.
Iven's response was not so different from the one Oliver gave me but i was still disturbed.
She had completely left me alone the entire day. Even at the usual meeting, she did her job, passed around the needed papers without any inappropriate comments and left the room.
I didn't like how quite she is because when i bully stays still for a while, it means they are cooking up something bigger.
Iven told me not to worry about it and i nodded my head. Despite my previous worries, Iven has turned out to be a great companion.
We still haven't made anything official but we are coming back form our Fourth date right now.
I smiled at him before looking down at my bag to fish my keys out.
I slid the key through the key hole and turned to once to open the door. Iven and i walked in, totally oblivious to the view that waited for us in the living room. On the couch.
It was my roomies who had always seemed to hate each other, full on...making out.
What in fresh hell is this?

Mc and Oliver sat next to each other as i paced infront of them. Iven had some how managed to get a snack in his hands and enjoy the show.
As soon as i let out a surprised scream, MC and Oliver had jumped away from each other but their flushed face and swollen lips were more than enough evidence if they dare deny my own eyes.
"What did i just walk in to?" I finally asked after ten minutes of awkward silence.
Oliver and MC looked at each other as if they were little kids caught with their hands in a cookie jar.
"It's not what it looks like." MC started.
"And what exactly dos it look like?" I asked.
"It looked like this too are secret love birds." Iven commented as he laughed at their glares.
"We're not Love birds, okay. Ot just happened." MC answered as she looked back at me. "It just happened." She repeated herself before she glanced at Oliver and stood up to rushed in to her room silence once again invaded the living room and i looked over at Oliver to see that he was really upset.
"Oliver, what's going on?" I asked and he looked down at his bare feet before shaking his head.
"It just happened." Is all he said before he stood up and walked in to his room.
I looked over to Iven and saw that all the humor was drained put of his face. He threw the snack on the counter and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Do you think they'll be okay?" He asked and i was touched by the emotions in his voice.
I shrugging my shoulder. I wanted to talk to them but they looked like they needed space and some time to think because i don't think they are in the same boat at the time.
Iven decided that he should go home and i saw him out the door before going into my room.
It wasn't five minutes later that i heard a knock on my door and opened it to see MC with her eyes swollen and red.
