Chapter 59

I turned my computer of as i gently slapped my hand against my opened mouth to stifle a yawn. I looked at the clock to see that it was almost past ten.

I stretched my sore and stiff muscles before picking the giant file up and walked over to my Grandpa's office.

It's been six month since i started working for my grandfather. I started at the very bottom with front desk receptionist and made it up to my Grandpa's assistant. He's been trying to teach me more about the flower business and about his best clients. And he had me study and organize important documents that i have just finished doing.

I opened the door to grandpa's office and walked over to his desk. After putting the files down, i glanced around the giant office at the very top floor of this tall building.

One day, all of this would be mine. And i will make sure to do my best to reach my Grandpa's expectations.

I sighed as i watched the beautiful night view before walking out of the office.

I collected my things and walked over to the elevator. It felt really weird to use such a healthy elevator since i was so used to that crappy elevator- which Shawn made sure to have if fixed after his father got stuck in there for three hours all by himself.

As i was taking the elevator down, my phone rang and i picked it up to be greeted by Shawn's warm voice.

"Hey."

"Hi..." I sighed and leaned against the elevator.

"Are you off work yet?" He asked and i told him i did.

"Great. I know it's late but come over at the coffee house. I got something for you."

"Okay." I answered with a smiled and hung up the phone.

That coffee house now hold a great place in my heart as we spend most of the end of our date night there.

Since the coffee place was just a block away to my Grandpa's company, i followed light places and walked over there. When i walked in and that little bell on top of the door ringed, Shawn looked up at me from our usual table by the window.

He looked nervous as he stood up from his seat. But he wasn't alone. Mc and Oliver where here with my parents and his parents as well.

"Hey..." I looked around the place to see a lot of familiar faces.

Shawn looked at them before he looked back at me. I saw a little box in his hands and i already know that it's one of those special mugs. 

In the last six month that we've been together, Shawn has given me three of this mugs.

On my very first day working for my grandpa, he gave me a mug with the writings of "Best employee ever.". The second time was on my promotion to assistant of CEO, He gave me 'Best assistant ever ' and after i threw him the best birthday, he gave me 'Best Party planner ever.'

And under all those three mugs 'from best boyfriend ever' was written on it.

I pointed at the box in his hands "what's the occasion?" I asked and Shawn looked around the room one more time before he handed me the box. 

MC took my bag so i can open the box. With a smile, i opened the box and carefully pulled out the mug. I turned the coffee around to read and my heart quite literally stopped.

'Best Wife Ever?'

I quickly turned the mug upside down to read what he had written under it.

'From best husband ever?'

I looked up at him in shock as he reached for his chest pocket and rook out a smaller box. Shawn got down on one knee and opened the box to reveal the mose beautiful ring ever.

A gasp escaped my lips as i looked at him with watery eyes.

"Princi Jona, can you make me the happies man on earth and marry me?" He asked with a soft smile.

I held the mug with both my hands as the crowed faded away until it felt like only Shawn and I were left.

Words couldn't make it past my tight throat so i aggressively nodded my head.

Shawn didn't hesitate to pull me in to a hug. He pulled away as the room filled with claps and cheer. Shawn took the ring out of the box and gently slid it through my left ring finger.

"I love you." He whispered. And i managed to say it back while chocking up with happy tears.

***3 years later***

I looked at Shawn across the room as he spoke to the investor i came here to talk to. I placed a hand on my lower abdomen and sighed. He does know yet...but soon he will.

Mr. Augustus Antonio walked up to the kiddle of the ball room and clicked a tiny fork against the side of his wine glass.

"I must thank all the guest who came tonight..." He spoke in a lazy cat manner "I have finally decided that i will be investing on the Devis company this year." With that, the ma walked out of the room as DC's employees including Shawn clapped their hands in victory.

I huffed before glaring at Shawn. Its the second time in a row he's beat me on a hunt and he's not going to let me live this down.

Shawn laughed at my reaction and shook some hands before he walked over to me with Oliver by his side. Olly hugged me and said his good nights and went home to his soon to be wife MC.

"Oh stop glaring, would you." Shawn teased me as he pinched my cheeks with his fingers.

I slapped his hand away and pouted. "I'm not glaring. I'm happy for you, MR. CEO. But don't you think it's a little unfair that you're getting all the attention here." I commented and he chuckled.

"Oh, don't worry. I know being an executive director is hard. But you'll get the hang of it." He commented before pulling me in to a hug. It took a second before i wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I'll get you next time..." I whispered closer to his ear "but for now i hope you won't rub your win in your unborn Childs' mothers' face."

I pulled back to see his reaction. At first he just smiled and even laughed a little. But then he realized what i just said and his eyes widen.

"What?" He whispered and i just nodded my head 

The end. 

But my story doesn't end here guys. I will make sure that to live the happiest life and to make every second count. 

My sweet boss is not my boss any more. He is my love, my husband and now, the father of my baby.
