Just Leave Me Alone

Netra:
In the morning, I got ready and prepared coffee. I waited for Jeevith, but he didn't come out until noon. I knocked on the door of his room.
"Yes!" Jeevith said.
I opened the door and went inside the room.
"Aren't you gonna come out of your room?" I asked.
Jeevith didn't say anything.
"I hope you remembered the words spoken yesterday," I said.
"I didn't say anything wrong," Jeevith said.
"It's true that you love Akshay. Loving someone and staying with someone else do no good," Jeevith said.
"That's not the point. Jeevith, you know what. No one can ever stop a girl from having sex with anyone she loves unless she wants to be loyal to her husband and keep up her values. A snap of a second is enough for me to sleep with Akshay and do you think that I never got such a situation with him anytime?
Even before getting married to you, I got that situation many times. I lived with Akshay in the same house. If I want, I can do that at any time. It's not this knot that stopped me from doing it. It's my values and character that prevented me from doing it. You can never understand it," I said.
"Netra!" I heard and looked at the entrance. Akshay stood there.
"Why did he come here?" Jeevith asked.
"I asked him to come," I said.
I told both of them to sit in the hall.
"Netra, what happened to you? Are you alright?" Akshay asked me.
"Yes, I am! Do you think that I will not be okay without you?" I asked Akshay.
"No, it's not like that but....." Akshay said and stopped his words.
"That's okay, Akshay. It was my mistake to depend on you emotionally for years. You are not at all at fault," I said.
"Netra, why are you talking like that?" Akshay asked me.
"Let me finish it, Mr Akash," I said.
For the first time, I talked seriously to Akshay.
"Look, Mr Akshay, did I ever say that I love you to you?" I asked him.
"No!" Akshay said.
"Jeevith, did I ever say I love you to you?"
"No!" Jeevith said.
"Did I say that I am in love with Akshay?" I asked Jeevith.
"No!" Jeevith said.
"Then who are you both to decide about the person I love and mostly about my feelings?"
Jeevith and Akshay looked at me shockingly.
"Mr Akshay, you have no right to decide with whom I should stay," I said seriously looking into his eyes and pointing my finger towards Akshay which triggers his anger.
Akshay looked at me silently.
"Jeevith, you are not the one to decide with whom I should sleep. It's better to stay in your limits," I said.
Then the driver came there.
"Madam, I kept the luggage in the car," the driver said.
"I am leaving. Just leave me alone," I said.
"Mr Jeevith, I will talk to the judge and request him to sanction the divorce as soon as possible," I said and started from there to my house.
I went to my house. I closed the door of my room and cried hard, remembering everything. Am I a robot about whom they can decide anything?
I heard the knocking sound of the door.
"Netra, I am sorry. Please open the door," Akshay said.
I didn't speak anything.
"Netra, please!" Akshay said, and I opened the door.
"Tell me, Mr Akshay!" I said.
"Netra, I am sorry," Akshay said and tried to touch my hands.
I moved away from him.
"Don't dare to touch me," I said.
"Netra!" Akshay said.
"Go away, Mr Akshay. You are a great minister. Why are you wasting your time on an ordinary girl like me?" I said.
"Netra, why are you talking like this? It's hurting," Akshay said.
"Oh, is it? Do you know how much it hurts to stay with a person who can never understand me and insults me?" I asked.
"Please forgive me. I shouldn't have forced you to go to Jeevith," Akshay said.
"I never thought I would be the reason for your heartbreak one more time," Akshay said.
"My heart was already broken. But nothing can ever break this Netra," I said firmly.
"You can leave now, Mr Akshay," I said.
"Netra, I can't live you in this situation," Akshay said.
"Do you want me to stay here or go away to a place where you can't find me ever?" I said.
"No, I will not go. If you are angry with me, hit me. But don't ask me to leave you in this condition," Akshay said.
"Who are you to me to be angry with you?" I said.
"You are just a stranger to me. Why would I be angry with you?" I said.
"For God's sake, will you stop it?" Akshay said.
"I just told the truth," I said.
"Don't say it one more time or you can't imagine what I will do," Akshay said.
"What will you do? You are just a stranger to me," I said again.
"Netra, don't you know why did I send you to Jeevith? What should I do? Should I remove this knot from your neck and marry you? Do you think that this society will respect you after that? Everyone will start blaming your character. That's the only reason that made me send you to Jeevith. Please forgive me once, Netra. I will never ask you to do anything that you don't like. Please!" Akshay said.
"If you finish your words, you can leave. And please don't come again," I said.
"You are killing me with your words, baby," Akshay said, coming towards me.
I moved back and hit a wall. Akshay kept his hands on either side, making me caged between him and the wall. However, he didn't touch me.
"Vindhya, my only love! Do you think that I will leave when you need someone to ease out your pain? You are free to scold, beat, hit, kill me and vent out your anger in any form at me. I am all your's to do anything," Akshay said.
"Maybe you are right. Vindhya is your love, but she is already dead. This Netra came out from the ashes of Vindhya like a Phoenix. I have no feelings to fall for your words. Get lost," I said, and Akshay smiled at me.
"You know what. We will never get angry with the one whom we love," Akshay said and moved away from me.
