Possessiveness overrules Understanding

Akshay:

For the next three days, Netra completely avoided me. I wanted her to focus on herself but this avoidance hurt me. From my childhood, I was alone without any love. May be that's the reason, I was addicted to Netra's love and depended on her completely. Even now, I can't blame her because it was me who wantedly changed her. However if she comes to know that I am feeling alone, she will be there for me tolerating even my anger and rudeness.

Netra is playing with our kids and I stared at her lovingly. She is cute. I never felt this for any girl except for her.

"Akshay," Sadhana called me and I looked at her.

"Are you fine?" Sadhana asked me.

"Of course, I am fine," I said giving a fake smile.

"I don't think so. I found a slow down in Akshay. This is not the Akshay whom I know. What happened to you?" Sadhana asked me.

I can't hide anything from Netra and Sadhana ever.

"Just a small tension at work," I said.

"Do you want me to trust your words? Anyways tell me this. Is everything fine between you and Netra? I don't find happiness even in Netra these days," Sadhana said.

Damn it! She caught it.

"No, everything is fine between us."

"Hard to believe that after seeing you both this way. Am I the reason for the conflict," Sadhana asked.

Of course, I can't deny the fact that she is intelligent.

"No, Netra is very understanding. She understands well," I said looking at Netra who is observing us. Netra is unable to tolerate even Sadhana sitting beside me and talking like this.

"Possessiveness overrules understanding. Insecurities dominate the trust. That's how the relationships break. I told you already that we shouldn't stay together but you didn't listen to me," Sadhana said.

"Sadhana, Netra will understand us soon. I can't leave you to your fate just for Netra."

"Tell her what I am to you," Sadhana said.

"This is the society where people can't even trust the blood relationship. Do you think Netra will trust us if I say her about our bonding?"

"I don't know. This is the reason why I tried to leave you several times but I failed to do so because of the love I have for you," Sadhana said.

"Shut up. You don't have a choice of leaving me. Forget it," I said.

"So do you mean I should tolerate the misunderstanding of your wife and stain on my character?" Sadhana said.

"Everything needs time. For now all we can do is to wait."

"I hate you," Sadhana said.

I smiled at her childishness.

"Go and take rest. Don't strain your brain," I said.

"Sorry, I forgot the fact that you don't have a brain," I said.

"Idiot, you don't have a brain," Sadhana said, hitting me.

Netra saw everything and went off from there.

"You are good at creating issues," I said.

"Thank you," Sadhana said, laughing at Netra's possessiveness.

I went to the room after hitting Sadhana for creating another problem for me. Netra sat calmly on the bed. The silence before the storm.

"I never know this funny side of Akshay. Wow! Great! I think only the special people of your life are blessed with the fortune of experiencing that," Netra said.

"I am not bothered about whatever you think or say. You are free to assume anything you want. After all it's the great Netra with full of senseless maturity," I said.

"Senseless maturity? What do you mean? I am not like you to do senseless things. Infront of our kids and me, you are flirting with another girl and......," Netra started her stupid doubts again.

"Shut up, Netra. Now just leave it or I don't know what will I do," I said clenching my fist.

"Get this into your mind, Netra - the top entrepreneur in the nation, that every relationship between a boy and a girl doesn't need to be illegal affair or love or anything related to that. They can be best friends, siblings, or well wishers to one another. I never know that you are such a narrow minded girl," I shouted at Netra for the first time, forgetting about the kids.

"So tell me what is she to you?" Netra asked me.

"She is my sister," I told her finally.

"Sister? I never know that you have a sister," Netra said.

"She is not my own sister. But, we both share a bonding of siblings. Every bonding doesn't need to be a blood relationship. Sadhana has no one. Her parents and brother were expired a few years back. After that she assumes me as a brother. Until now she never took my help anytime but now there's a reason because of which I brought her to our home."

Netra became calm for a while.

"Why should I believe that she is your sister?" Netra asked.

"This is the reason that made me to hide about her from you. Until now you were angry for not revealing about her but even after revealing about her, still your doubt didn't go."

"Okay. How long is she going to stay here?" Netra asked.

"She will stay here as long as she want. Now stop the argument," I said.

"But you told that she will leave once the problem gets solved," Netra asked again.

Before I answer, Sadhana answered her.

"I will leave now. Don't fight because of me," Sadhana said.

"Sadhana, shut up and go to your room. At least you try to understand the situation," I said.

"I can't take the blame on my character. It's very important to me. You know everything about my past and now this is something I can't take," Sadhana said.

"Sadhana, wait. Netra will apologise you," I said as I don't understand what to do.

"Is she that important to you than me," Netra asked me with tears.

"If you really love me, apologise her," I said.

"I am sorry," Netra said, clutching the fist.

"I never do wrong. Siblings relationship is such a sacred one and I am that type of girl who has no ethics. My parents are very proud of me until their death seeing me and my attitude. Even now I am living only to make my parents proud of me. I will never cross my limits and will never do wrong," Sadhana said.

"Every parents will feel proud of their children. You are not any special," Netra said.
