Who is Sadhana?

Netra:

In the morning, I have started preparing the breakfast and suddenly two hands wrapped around my waist.

"Aaahh," I shouted and turned back only to see Akshay in shock.

"Ak..Akshay?" I said slowly.

"Oh god! You just scared me, sweetheart. It's me. Still can't you recognise my touch?" Akshay said.

"No, I was in some deep thought. Anyways tell me what do you want?" I asked Akshay.

"I don't want anything, baby. Do you forget that every morning I used to see your face as soon as I woke up from the day I married you?" Akshay said.

I remembered the initial days of my marriage. From the day I lied to Akshay about meeting Jeevith, Akshay stopped seeing my face early in the morning. Though I tried to remember him, he just ignored me and started going to kids' room as soon as he woke up. Though it hurt me, I didn't ask him about it.

I didn't speak and Akshay kissed me on my lips bringing me out of my thoughts.

"It's just to let you know that I was hurt but I didn't forget it and of course, I recognised your efforts to make me look at you everyday as soon as I woke up," Akshay said and I hugged him.

"Your wife is missing you so much, Mr Minister," I said hitting him.

"I know that and I too missed our moments. Don't worry. Everything will be the same between us from now," Akshay said.

"So tell me how can I help you?" Akshay said.

"I will do it, Akshay. You get ready," I said.

"No way. I will help you. Why are you preparing three different breakfast everyday?"

"Kalki and Abhaya are not eating food properly. So, I am making favourite dishes to make you, Kalki and Abhaya eat," I said.

"From today prepare only one breakfast. Just do one thing. Prepare your favourite one day, then mine, then Kalki and Abhaya. That's enough. You too have many works and I don't want you to get tired," Akshay said.

"But Kalki and Abhaya..."

"I will talk to them. Don't worry," Akshay said and I nodded.

If Akshay stops caring, the whole house became a mess. What if he checks the kitchen now? He will scold me for sure as I didn't take care of anything and maids asusual kept everything as it is. It's Akshay who takes care of children and anything related to them and I should take care of the house as he mostly comes late to home with meetings.

Akshay looked around and then at me.

"I will ask the maid to set everything today. Just one day," I said.

"What were you doing all these days?You know well that I don't like house to be a mess," Akshay said.

I looked at him without speaking anything.

"I will take care of it. I will talk to the maids. I didn't hire them to keep the house this way," Akshay said.

"And from today asusual I will help you in preparing the breakfast. Today let's prepare my wife's favourite food."

Akshay started preparing the alu paratha and I prepared the curry. When I served the breakfast, Kalki said no but ate calmly observing the seriousness of their father. Akshay's one serious look is enough to both of them stop their naughtiness. After the breakfast, Akshay gave a hug and kiss to me before starting to the office. He dropped me in the office.

"I will pick you in the evening. Let's go out for the dinner tonight if you don't have any meeting," Akshay said.

"I have a meeting but I will try to cancel it," I said remembering his warning the last time when I talked about the meeting and he wanted me to go for the shopping.

"Okay. Carry on with your meeting. Are you going to come to the home late today?"

"Yes," I said.

"Then let's change the plan. Today I will prepare the dinner," Akshay said and I smiled at him.

Akshay was sweet and caring untilthe day Jeevith returned. After that, I missed my Akshay a lot as he became more rude and dominating.

After the meeting, I went to the house and by that time, Akshay made kids sleep. We had the dinner together. We both make sure that the breakfast should be done along with the kids and dinner, we both together. We wait for each other if there's any late night meetings. However, these days Akshay stopped waiting for me from the day I was rude to him in the issue of Jeevith. I am happy as Akshay behaved normally as before.

"Netra, I want to know if you can make a week free from the meetings. I want to plan a trip with four of us," Akshay said.

"Not this week, Akshay. I will ask Serena not to schedule any meeting in the next week."

"That's fine," Akshay said.

"Tell me where shall we go?" Akshay asked me.

"Anywhere where we can feel the freshness of nature and forget this tiredness of life," I said.

"Okay, let me think and tell you about those places."

I found the kitchen and every room set perfectly. I went to the bedroom and due to the tiredness, I slept in his arms within no time.

The next morning, Akshay helped me to prepare the breakfast and went for a shower. I am getting ready and his phone rang. I thought to receive the call but stopped as I don't want him to be angry at me again.

"Akshay, your phone is ringing," I said knocking on the door of the washroom.

"Pick the call and ask them what's the matter after introducing yourself as my wife," Akshay said.

"What? Do you want me to receive the call? But you warned me not to touch your mobile," I said.

"My wife has all rights to know about her husband and his activities. Go and receive the call," Akshay said.

I went and received his call. I noted the information and gave that to Akshay when he returned from the shower. After helping him in getting ready and setting his files, I thought to go to the hall to arrange the breakfast on the table. Akshay held my wrist and pulled me towards him stopping me from leaving the room.

"Akshay, we are getting late. Leave me," I said.

"I truly love you," Akshay said.

"I know and I too love you," I said kissing him on the cheek.

One month passed by without any issues in our life. I too informed Akshay whenever I went to meet Jeevith. Akshay didn't become angry with me and supported me. Akshay's behaviour became normal and I felt free to share anything with him.

Today, Akshay didn't return to home yet and it's already 2 A.M. I heard the sound of the car's horn. Thank God, finally Akshay returned. I went to the kitchen to heat the food and set the table by the time he gets fresh up. I am damn hungry.

"Netra," Akshay called me. I went to the hall and got shocked seeing the girl whom I saw earlier with Akshay in a hotel.

"Netra, she is Sadhana. She will be staying here for sometime. Take her to the guest room and see what's required for her," Akshay said.

"Sadhana, She is Netra, my wife. You can ask her if you need anything," Akshay said introducing me to her.

"Hello," I said.

"Hello, Netra," Sadhana said.

It's the same voice I heard that day on the call. Why did Akshay bring her home? Who is this girl?

I showed Sadhana the guest room and asked her to get fresh up. I went to the dining hall to serve the dinner to Akshay.

"Netra, prepare a light food for Sadhana. She didn't have the dinner," Akshay said and I nodded.

I served him the food.

"Did you have your dinner, sweetheart?" Akshay asked me.

"No. I am not hungry," I said.

"I will prepare something for Sadhana to eat," I said and tried to leave but Akshay held my hand.

"Leave me, Akshay. I feel sleepy," I said.

"Sit," Akshay said.

"I should cook food for her," I said seriously in a loud tone.

"I said sit," Akshay said seriously.

I sat calmly. Akshay served the dinner to me.

"Have it," Akshay said.

"I am not hungry," I said.

Akshay smiled at me and fed the morsels to me. I ate as I love Akshay feeding me.

"Baby, don't be angry. I will tell you everything about Sadhana. Give me sometime. Don't be insecure. This is your house and I am your husband. Sadhana is just a guest," Akshay said while feeding me.

I nodded. After the dinner, I prepared the food for Sadhana and gave it to her. Then, I came to the room. I slept without talking anything with Akshay though I don't like him bringing Sadhana to our house.
