Jealous

Netra:

In the morning, I woke up and got out of the bed but suddenly Akshay pulled me towards him. I fell over him and he winked at me.

"Good morning, Akshay."

"Can't you wish me with a smile early in the morning? Why are you so serious, baby?" Akshay said playing with the strands of my hair that fell on my forehead.

"Enough of your flirting," I said.

"Flirting? Me? That's ok. I can flirt with my wife. With whom else I can do that and if I do with anyone else, I don't think my devil will allow me to be alive," Akshay said winking at me.

"Good morning my dear angelic devil," Akshay said confusing me.

I didn't react and then he made me look into his eyes.

"Are you possessive, sweetheart?" Akshay asked.

"No, not at all," I tried to bluff as much as I can.

Akshay laughed at my reaction.

"Sadhana is my relative. She is in some problem. There's no one to help her, so I asked her to stay here," Akshay said.

"Relative? I never knew that you have relatives," I said.

"If you suspect too much, you will find something to doubt in everyone and everywhere," Akshay said.

"Thanks for the advice," I said and got out of the bed.

I got fresh up and went to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast and Akshay came to help me. I had food silently along with Akshay, Sadhana and kids. I didn't let kids know that there's again something going on between us.

Akshay dropped me at the office and I tried to leave but Akshay locked the car door.

"Netra, I want to talk to you. I don't want you to get hurt for anything."

"Then send away Sadhana from our home," I said without looking at him.

"Sweetheart, it's just a matter of few days. Can't you allow her to stay at our home for somedays? Netra, this is my request to you. Please accept for me," Akshay said softly holding my hands.

I wondered seeing Akshay requesting me instead of passing his order to me. I understood that unless I lie to him and hurt him, Akshay won't be harsh with me.

"Okay. I am accepting for you. I don't want to hurt you but she should stay only for short time," I said.

"Done," Akshay said.

I went to the office and returned in the evening. I found Akshay talking to Sadhana sitting so close to her. I didn't talk to him and tried to leave to my room.

"Hey sweetheart, today you have arrived home so early," Akshay said.

"I have finished the work earlier," I said.

"Okay. Go and get fresh up. I will make tea for you. Today our maid is on leave," Akshay said.

"It's ok, Akshay. I will prepare tea for Netra," Sadhana said.

"No, we can't make guests work. Moreover my wife loves tea or food prepared by me a lot. I won't get time for it much. And when I get such a chance, I will never miss it," Akshay said looking at me.

I smiled and went to my room. After 5 minutes, Akshay brought tea for me.

"Baby, this hot ginger tea is for you," Akshay said.

I took it and started sipping it silently.

"What happened dear? You are looking dull," Akshay asked me.

"I met Jeevith today," I said hugging Akshay from the side and holding his arm.

"What's there in it to make you dull?" Akshay asked again.

"I don't know. Whenever I meet him, I feel as if something may happen that separates me from you," I said.

Akshay cupped my face and smiled at me.

"Sweetheart, no one can ever separate us from each other except you and me. Not even Jeevith or Sadhana. Our attitudes and trust in each other helps us to be together forever."

I didn't argue further. I don't know the reason but I don't like Sadhana staying here. I avoided Akshay though he tried to talk to me. However, I pretended to be normal before the kids. I don't want them to get disturbed again. I slept and in the morning, Sadhana came to the kitchen while I was preparing the food.

"Hi Sadhana, do you want something?" I asked, smiling at her.

"No. I am feeling bore. May I help you in cooking?" Sadhana asked me.

"No. Akshay doesn't like making guests work. You can watch TV or play with the kids," I said.

"Please don't treat me as a guest. Let me be one among your family," Sadhana said.

"I will chop the vegetables. Akshay won't be angry with me," Sadhana said and started cutting the vegetables.

Akshay came to the kitchen as usual to help me. He glared at me seeing Sadhana working in the kitchen.

"I told her that you don't like guests to work but..."

"Let's talk in our room," Akshay said.

Before I speak, Sadhana held Akshay's hand.

"Akshay, cool. It's me who wants to help Netra. I felt bore and thought to do some work. Don't be angry," Sadhana said sweetly and within few seconds Akshay became quiet and cool.

What the hell! Until now being his wife, I couldn't control his anger and moreover I can't even touch him or speak when he is angry. But this Sadhana did it as if she is a magic. I felt jealous seeing their bonding.

To be frank, I found Akshay being free and happy with Sadhana more than me. He speaks too soft and sweetly to her. I didn't find any sign of anger or frustration in him when he is with Sadhana. Who is this Sadhana? I thought I know everything about Akshay but now I realised there's much more to know him.

I completed cooking and we had it together. I noticed Akshay not talking to me. I went to the room to get ready. Akshay is searching for something in the wardrobe.

"Do you need anything?" I asked.

Akshay looked at me for sometime and then pulled me into his hug. He kissed me and then caressed my hairs.

"I enjoyed seeing jealous in your eyes. It makes you look very cute," Akshay said making me shock and blush at the sametime.

I thought Akshay is angry with me but now I understood that he pretended to be angry just to see my jealous.

"Idiot," I said and Akshay held me by waist and his touch made me crazy.

"Sweetheart, I am only yours. Please don't get upset. I love your jealous but not you getting hurt," Akshay said stroking my lips.
