Krystal didn't know how to respond to Collins. She had thought totally different of him. She would have never thought that he was that kind of teenager. She thought he was one who had everything, was just naturally popular and didn't have to do anything for it.

"So, no one knew?" Krystal said.

"Yes."

"So that's why he is saying what he is saying. That I am trying to get back at him. If you remember well, i didn't care you two were getting married and not until you kept pestering me did I decide."

"So why did you act that way with Brittney the other night?"

"Been a while I saw her and also, I was holding on to too many memories in the past."

"I realized I didn't like her," he was about to complete the statement by saying "not like I like you." But he didn't.

He really did not know how she felt. He didn't want things to be awkward between them and so he decided to keep it to himself till he feels right to say it.

He looked at her neck and realized she wasn't wearing the necklace. He didn't say anything about it. In a way, he knew it wasn't his place to reprimand her but he had done it anyway.

"You're nicer than I had thought," Krystal suddenly said and Andrew laughed.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I had always envisioned you as someone totally different. You're the real definition for "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover or by what you hear about it."

He smiled.

"So tell me more about you and also about you and Collins;"

"Why do you want to know about that?" Krystal asked.

"To understand this whole situation better I guess."

"So, tell me everything."

“There is really not much to know. We met at my dad’s office. I was just about getting into college then. We dated a few years and then we were supposed to get married,” Krystal explained.

She really didn’t want to say so much. She wanted to tell him all about her reincarnation and how she had decided to not get married to him even though she had loved him a lot.

“Why did you decided not to go ahead with the wedding anymore. You chose me who was a stranger over him. Why?” He asked.

The question Krystal didn’t know how to answer. If she told him all about the reincarnation. She feared he was going to think her crazy.

“In due time, I will tell you everything.”

“Why not now?” He asked.

“I promise to tell you but it can’t be now,” she said.

She could see the look on his face. He felt like she didn’t trust him enough to tell him everything and it hurt him. But one thing he wasn’t going to do was tell her how he was feeling.

He stared at her and how the light reflected through her eyes. She was really beautiful. He wished he could tell her all the things he felt but he was scared. Scared that she wouldn’t see him that way.

He didn’t want to spoil whatever relationship they had between them and making it complicated.he was going to wait. Wait till he could admit what he was feeling or till he realized it was probably just a crush.

“You’re beautiful,” he said staring into her eyes.

She was caught by Surprise and had never expected him to say something like that.

She smiled.

“Why do you say that?” She asked.

“Because you are,” he said. “You have one of the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen too,” he said and she smiled.

“You always know the right things to say,” she said.

“Now I know how you get all the girls and why they all want you,” she added.

“Is this what you say to all of them?” Krystal said and he smiled.

“I have only ever said it to you.”

“That’s hard to believe. I mean you have met a million girls and you expect me to believe that.”

“You’re different. You need to start thinking that,” he said and checked his wrist watch.

“I need to get to work, will see you later,” he said and when he stood he kissed her forehead.

He didn’t know why he did that. He was as surprised as she was. It all felt like emotions that he couldn’t hold in anymore.

She was speechless as he walked away. She felt like an eruption of emotion all through her body. It was different, it felt real and true to her.

“Was it all in her head” she thought. Her heart raced continuously. Was he just playing with her” she thought.

That was how they all were” she thought. She didn’t want to believe or even imagine if it was true. She didn’t want to believe in the Fantasy that he actually liked her.

She had never always thought highly of herself. Maybe he just wanted to have fun with her” she thought.

She didn’t want to overthink what just happened. She didn’t want her heart to get broken again. She wasn’t sure she would be able to recover if it happened.

She hoped it was just a one time thing and that the feeling she was having was transient and was going to eventually go away.

She turned in the direction of the door in which he had passed through. She imagined how nice it would be if he actually liked her. The fun they would have at home together. She imagined kissing him and hugging him tightly.

She imagines cuddling him in their room and him kissing her forehead everyday before going to work. It all seemed too good to be true and she knew it probably wouldn’t happen but it felt nice to imagine it.

She was okay just day dreaming about that reality even though she knew it was never going to happen.
