Krystal knocked on the door.

“Who is there?” Trisha asked.

“It’s Krystal,” she said.

Trisha opened the door to Krystal who was looking as remorseful as possible.

“Can I come in?”

“Yeah,” Trisha said, making a way for Krystal to enter.

They both stared at one another after Trisha closed the door behind them.

“I am sorry,” they both said in unison.

“I was wrong,” Trisha said. “It’s none of my business what is going on and I have no right to judge you that way.”

“No Trisha. I was the wrong one. You’re my friend and you have every right to be in my business. That’s what friends are for.”

“Also, you’re right, friends are the ones supposed to say the hard truth. They don’t have to always support you especially when you’re wrong.”

“I am sorry about all the mean things I said to you too. I should have not said any of it.”

“You were also right about the fact that I was stuck in the past, I mean I have such an amazing husband but I keep worrying about what’s not.”

“It’s fine,” Trisha said and they both hugged one another.

They both sat on the coach after releasing from each other’s embrace.

“So, you had a crush on Andrew.”

“It was a long time ago. It means nothing now. I just want you to be happy, trust me.”

“So, have you two spoken?” Trisha asked.

“Not yet.”

“And about what it was that led to that situation,” Krystal stated, explaining all that had happened.

“That’s dangerous. What if he finds out it was you?”

“I will be fine.”

“What about Lucy?”

“She will be too.”

“I want to know your legal advice on the whole issue. Not now though, I need to focus on fixing i and Andrew, if only he even wants to give me another chance.”

Trisha placed her hand on Krystal’s.

“You should try to tell him all of this, I am sure he would understand and he really does seem to like you,” Trisha said with a smile.

“I really hope I haven’t spoilt this too. I feel really bad and I haven’t recovered from all of what happened.”

“When people love you, they would make excuses for you and you would be surprised what they are willing to forgive, so far you’re being honest with them.”

“Thank you for this, I really appreciate you.”

“You are my best friend in the whole wide world. I have like just you and I want you to know that I will always have your back regardless of what it is. You’re my sister now,” Trisha said and Krystal smiled.

“I am glad I have you in my life.”

“Also, when you get the documents, I can go through them and tell you what’s next to do.”

“Thank you so much.”

“I think I am just going to put it all on a hold for now. At least till I and Andrew are cool again and till he is fine with me still going after Collins.”

“Anything that’s fine by you,” Trisha said. As they both spoke, Krystal’s phone beeped.

She immediately checked it, hoping it was a message from Andrew and it was.

Andrew: Can we meet Tomorrow morning for brunch?

Krystal: sure, send me the address and time. Thanks again for meeting me.

“What’s it?” Trisha asked when Krystal looked up from her phone.

“He wants to meet tomorrow for brunch, finally,” she said, excited.

“That’s great. Do not forget to tell him all that you want to say and also, you don’t have to hide your feelings for him again,” Trisha said smiling.

Krystal turned to look at her.

“How do you know I have feelings for him?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” Trisha chuckled. The only person who obviously isn’t seeing the connection is the two of you.

“Have you seen the way you look at him like you’re going to eat him up. The smile on your face when you talk about him. The anger in your face the day Brittney showed,” Trisha said and they both laughed.

“That girl was nothing good,” Krystal said and Trisha laughed.

“You should see your face,” she said.

“Anyways, he is all yours now and you should try not to mess it up.”

“I can’t even if I tried.”

Krystal stayed some few hours more with Trisha as they cooked and watched movies together.

Krystal got back home and it was late already. Home didn’t really feel like home again without Andrew in it. She missed him a lot.

The housekeeper opened the door for her and then she walked into the living room.

She realized someone was in and was already scared until Andrew turned around and it turned out to be him.

“Andrew,” Krystal called, both surprised, nervous and excited that he is home.

She walked closer to where he was and he stood from where he had been sitting.

“You’re here,” she said.

He ran his fingers through his hair

“I guess I am,” he said.

“I thought you said tomorrow.”

“I figured what’s the point of waiting when I could come tonight. Unless you want me to leave.”
