"You look so beautiful," the makeup artist said, adding the finishing touches to Krystal's face.

Krystal looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She remembered how she felt the day of her wedding before the reincarnation. She was the happiest bride, she had looked forward to the day since she was a little girl and when the day came, it felt as magical as she had thought of it.

Krystal always thought about how her wedding was way better than her marriage. The wedding day was the happiest she was in the marriage with Collins and she was not about to go down that road again.

"Thank you," Krystal said to the makeup artist.

"You're welcome."

Krystal picked up her phone after the make up artist left. Andrew had still not gotten back to her and she hadn't been able to reach him.

She had left a lot of messages for him but he hadn't called back. She feared that he wouldn't make it back and her plan was going to be in shambles.

She paced back and forth in the room, trying his number for what felt like the hundredth time.

"Hello, hello!!" Krystal said when Andrew finally answered the call.

"I have been trying to call you since forever!!!" Krystal said, panicking. Her palms were sweaty and she was very nervous.

"I wasn't with my phone all through the meeting but I am currently on my way back."

"Ohh, thank God."

"How close are you though?" Krystal asked.

"About 30 minutes," Andrew said.

"30 minutes!!"

"The wedding starts in 15!! What am I going to do?"

"I think you will have to find a way to delay. I can't do anything about it. I am trying my best here," he said.

"Please don't go past 30minutes, I am trusting you."

"Finally," Andrew said and then they ended the call.

The door opened and Trisha entered the room where Krystal was.

"What's delaying you? Everyone is sitter already. They are waiting for you," Trisha said.

"Krystal," her mum called, entering the room.

"You look amazing my love," her mum said kissing her on the cheek.

"Thanks mum."

"Your dad is waiting for you outside. You do fast and meet us outside."

"Yes, mum. I will be there in 3 minutes," Krystal said and then her mum left the room.

"Is everything okay?" Trisha asked, sensing the unease in Krystal.

"No."

"What's wrong?"

"I need Andrew to be here and he is still about 25 minutes away," she explained.

Trisha was confused about what Krystal was talking about.

"Why? What for?"

"He needs to be here for the plan to work."

Trisha tried to reason out what Krystal was talking about.

"You're still doing this? Are you for real? I thought you were joking."

"It's no joke Trisha."

"Can you actually explain what's going on? And why you're doing all these?"

"I will explain everything to you after today. I promise. I just can't right now."

"Alright. So, what do you need me to do? "

"I need to stall till Andrew gets here and when he gets here, I need you to make sure he is able to enter and sit."

"Aright. I won't ask any questions but you have a lot of explaining to do after all these is over."

"I know, Thank you," Krystal said with a smile.

Trisha went out of the room and Krystal after adjusting her dress also did the same.

Krystal walked towards where her dad was standing outside and stood next to him.

He smiled has she stood next to him. Krystal was a big daddy's girl and loved her dad so much.

"You look beautiful my Angel," he said and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you dad," Krystal said with a smile.

Her dad held her hands and as they were about to start walking in, they heard Trisha's voice which made them stop.

Trisha knew she had to do something to delay the wedding and so she picked up the microphone.

Everyone wondered what was going on,especially Collins who was starting to be impatient about all that was happening.

"So, you all know my best girl is getting married today. Before we start, I have a gift for the groom and bride, I will love to sing for them," she said.

Collins walked up to where she was.

"You can do this at the reception, time isn't on our side," he said.

"I think Krystal is going to love this and it would not even be a long one."

Collins was going to keep objecting so Trisha just picked up the microphone and started to sing.

She sang the song "never stop falling in love". It was she and Krystal's favorite song.

She had an amazing voice too so she had people captivated and wanting more of her singing.

Krystal smiled from where she stood outside. She knew Trisha could be crazy sometimes and do crazy things but that moment was definitely her favorite crazy thing yet.

After Trisha was done with the song. Collins immediately collected the microphone from her to avoid any more disruptions.

"Thank you so much Trisha for that amazing song. We all really loved it," Collins said and everyone clapped.

"I think we can start the program now."

Krystal checked her wrist watch and realized that Andrew had only about 15 minutes to be there.

She tried not to overthink it and panic.

Krystal's dad held onto her hands and he led her down the Alter.

Collins smiled as he watched his bride walk up towards him. He had waited for that day since the day he had met Krystal was a pawn in his game. Everyone was and he knew the marriage with her was just the beginning of having everything he had ever wanted in life.

Krystal's dad walked her to where Collins was standing and then, kissed her cheek.

"I love you baby girl," he said.

"Love you more dad," she replied.

Krystal looked towards the door hoping Andrew would walk in any minute from then. She was starting to become even more anxious, hoping and praying silently that all her plans work.

"We are gathered here today to witness the love shared between Krystal and Collins. We would be starting now," the minister said.

"I would like you two to say after me."

He handed the microphone over to Krystal but she gave it to Collins.

"He can go first," she whispered.

"Do you Collins, take Krystal to be your lawfully wedded wife. In sickness and in health. In wealth and in the absence of it?"

"I do," Collins answered without any hesitation and then handed the microphone over to Krystal."

"Do you Krystal, take Collins to be your lawfully wedded husband. In sickness and in health. In wealth and in the absence of it?"

Krystal looked around the hall, hoping that Andrew would enter anytime now. Trisha also looked towards the entrance but he wasn't there.

"Krystal," the minister called. Krystal looked in his direction.

"Can you please repeat it," she said.

As the minister was about to start repeating what he had earlier said. Krystal looked towards the door and Andrew entered the room. She smiled and looked back at the minister.

She had not been that excited to see someone before. She was elated.

"Do you Krystal, take Collins to be your husband?"

"No, I don't," Krystal said and everyone there was in awe. They were all surprised especially her parents and Collins.

"What are you talking about?" Collins said, holding Krystal's hands and then Krystal smiled as Andrew walked up to the alter.

"What is going on here!!! Krystal!!!???"

"What is going on is that, I am not going to be marrying you. I am going to be marrying Andrew here."

The murmuring grew as some people started to take videos of what was going on.

"What are you doing!!!" Andrew screamed.

He moved closer to Krystal

"You're making the worst mistake of your life here," he said.

"Trust me, I am not. You're choosing this playboy over me!!"

"At least he is not a liar or a killer."

Collins was confused about what she was implying or talking about.

"What are you even talking about!!"

"At least he isn't marrying me because of my father's company."

Collins was dumbfounded. He didn't know what to say. He would have never thought Krystal would know his intention.

He didn't think of her as someone who was smart enough to figure things out. He was still confused about what was happening.

Collins couldn't say a word.

"I think it's better you leave now!! And remember  that I am always 2 steps ahead of you always," she said and then Collins stormed out angrily and Andrew came up to the alter.

Krystal's parents were still confused, but they let the ceremony continue because it was better she got married to Andrew than to no one at all.

Trisha forced a smile as she watched her best friend get married to the man she had always secretly had a crush on.
