“No, no, I do not want you to leave. I want you,” she said staring into him brown eyes, yarning for him and wishing she could engulf him in a tight hug.

Krystal had only wished he had come tomorrow so she would have had her words planned out. She was scared she could spoil things by freestyling.

“I mean I want you to stay,” she immediately added.

“Alright then,” he said and he sat back down. Krystal sat on the chair next to him, facing him.

“I am sorry. And I know you probably think I am the worst person ever but just give me a few minutes to explain,” Krystal said even though she had no idea what she was doing. She kept it all together.

“I told you I had an idea about Collins defrauding the company and that was why I didn’t marry him anymore.”

“Yes, you did.”

“I met this girl Rita, who apparently has a child for Collins. She accused him of not wanting the child and so we teamed up to get evidence from him. The night we were supposed to go out was our only opportunity to get it, I was to distract him and she broke in to get them,” Krystal explained.

“That’s dangerous. You should have told me.”

“I didn’t want to get you in all of it and I was scared you might not agree.”

“Yes, I might have been skeptical about it but I trust you to do the right thing and so I would have been supportive.”

“So? Do you believe me? Are you forgiving me?”

So many questions were in Krystal’s head.

“I would understand if you still don’t want me with all these baggage and stuff.”

Andrew reached for her hands. He held them in his and looked into her eyes.

“You have no baggage and if you do, they are mine too. I believe you and there is no forgiving because I did that already.”

Krystal stared at his lips as he spoke. How it moved swiftly, she wished she could pull him closer and crash her lips on his.

“I just want you to be honest with me always and not put yourself in danger anymore. I am here for you always and i don’t want us to be keeping secrets. Can you do that for me?”

“Yes,” Krystal said in a low tone. “I am sorry.”

“Don’t be.”

“Do you still have feeling’s for Collins?” Andrew asked and Krystal’s heart dropped.

“I don’t.”

“The other night that I asked you to go out, I was going to tell you how I felt about you. I know all these was just an act at first and we were trying to use it for our gain but it’s real to me now. I have felt this way for a long time now, not knowing how to tell you but mostly I was just scared that you wouldn’t feel the same way.”

Krystal’s heart raced and she felt butterflies in her stomach. The kind that was always described in a book. Her heart melted and shivers ran down her spine.

She had been day dreaming about this and now that it was finally happening, she didn’t know how to act.

“It’s fine if you don’t feel the same though. I don’t want to rush you or anything.”

“What are you talking about. I have waited months for this. I put up a shield not wanting to believe I could experience what real love meant. I was scared, scared that it was all in my head and why would you even fall for someone like me.”

“Someone like you? What are you even saying. You’re the smartest, most beautiful, sweetest and kindest girl I know. And I am sorry about what I said the other day because meeting you is the best thing that has happened to me in forever.”

“I am glad you forced me to agree to this,” he said and they both laughed.

“I am glad my car almost hit you that first day,” he said and she playfully hit him laughing.

“I am glad the credit card thing happened. I am just glad that I have you in my life. I don’t think I would want to spend my life with any other woman that’s not you. I want you, the whole of you,” he said and Krystal was almost teary as she pulled him in and kissed him on his lips.

The kiss was slow at first, then they stood from where they were sitting, he pulled her even closer to himself like he desperately wanted her in him.

He puts in hands under her shirt and she rubbed his head as she kissed him more intensely. It felt like it was just the two of them in the world.

They both desperate wanted each other. She wrapped her legs around his waist and continued to kiss him and he carried her upstairs into the bedroom as they both couldn’t get enough of one another.

The night went by fast, intense, filled with love and everything in between. They both had the best night of their lives and wished it stayed like that forever.

Krystal placed her head on his chest, caressing him.

“Is this how love feels like?” Andrew asked and Krystal looked up at him.

“I wouldn’t know, it’s my first time too,” she said and kissed him.
