Krystal had found it incredibly difficult to sleep the past night. She had stared into space for hours and scrolled through her phone countless times and also calling Andrew who had switched off his phone just so he wouldn't be tempted to pick her phone.
She woke up the next morning feeling drained and not energized. She looked to the side of the bed where Andrew would sleep but there was no one there. She had wished it was all a bad dream that she had woken up for.
She picked her phone and dialed Andrew's number but his phone was still switched off. She decided she was going to go check if he was at their parent's but then she remembered that she had no idea where that was.
She decided to get into the shower before thinking of her next move.
Rita watched as her brother walked down the stairs to the living room. She knew what had happened, it was her plan after all and it worked the way she had planned it but what she had not expected was how devastated Andrew was.
She hated seeing her brother that way. She wished her plan worked without having so much repercussions.
"Hey," Rita said as Andrew sat on the chair.
He always went for his morning run but today he had no energy to do such.
"Can I get you a plate?" Rita asked.
"Not really in the mood to eat anything though," he replied.
"You can't say that. You said the same thing yesterday too."
"Alright, I will take some," he answered. He knew how his sister could be. He wasn't in the mood for her pestering behavior.
Rita went to the kitchen and got him a plate, she served his food and then dropped it on the table.
"How are you this morning?" She asked.
"I don't know really. I don't know what I am feeling but what I know is I don't want to feel it anymore."
Rita had never seen her brother this way before. They had grown up together and being the only 2 . They were really close and inseparable so she knew everything about him.
She was there during his worst heart breaks, his crushes on girls. He was also there for her during hers but she had never seen him this way. It was different.
"She doesn't deserve you anyway," Rita said.
"You should forget about her, go out and have fun. We could go to the club that was just opened down the street. You would find other girls," she said.
"I don't want other girls, that's the problem," Andrew said.
Rita was short of words, she didn't know how to make the situation better but she knew she didn't want him to go back to Krystal.
She had not thought it through when she had sent a private investigator after Krystal to watch everything she did. She just wanted to make Andrew understand she wasn't good for him.
At first she had found nothing but that night, when Collins and Krystal had gone out together, she found the perfect opportunity.
Andrew's phone beeped. He had just turned on his phone and several messages from Krystal came in.
He at first resisted opening any of it but then couldn't resist it and he opened the first one.
Krystal: I know you don't want to talk to me or see me right now and you're right if that's the decision you want to make because I haven't been fair to you. I haven't been straightforward with you also and you deserve better than me. I just want you to give me an opportunity to explain and if you do, you can then decide if you never want to see me again and I would respect your decision.
Andrew read out the message but Rita wasn't having it. No matter how many messages Krystal sent, she wasn't believing her.
"I hope you're not going to listen to her," she said.
"She is only manipulating you. She had taken you for granted for too long and you better don't allow that happen again."
Andrew was confused. He realized did feel like she took him for granted and did not deserve him.
Rita's phone beeped and then she looked at it excited.
"Mum is arriving tomorrow," she said, excitedly.
Krystal waited for Andrew to read her messages and at least call her back but nothing was happening and it made her worried and upset at herself.
Her phone beeped and she immediately checked hoping it was a message from Andrew but it was a message from Lucy.
Lucy: we should meet up for lunch and talk about what we are doing next. I don't want Collins to catch up to us.
Krystal was in no mood for being a secret agent anymore. She hated that it was this same thing that caused the fight between her and Andrew and she wished she could stop but she already put Lucy in the mix .
Krystal: I am sorry Lucy. I can't. I need more time. I will let you know when we can meet.
Collins opened where he had kept the documents and realized his safe was unlock.
He opened it and realized that all his documents were gone.
Collins wondered what had happened but not long, he saw something by the side of the sage that proved his thought.
He picked up the ring there. He knew who it had belonged to but what he didn't understand was the why.
Lucy picked up her daughter from where she had been playing and then noticed something was missing in her hand. It was the ring she always wore. She wondered where she had dropped it and before thinking too far, she realized it.
"Oh my God!!"
She had dropped it when it had been preventing her from opening the safe well. She had planned to pick it back but had forgotten while rushing out of the place.
