Meeting Her Parents

Preetam PoV:

I went to the office, but unable to focus on my work. I took my mobile and opened Roopa's photo. I wanted to convince her, make her accept me and love me. I had committed a mistake by being rude to Roopa and misunderstanding her. At that time, Roopa used to listen to me, respected me and loved me. I lost my respect and her love with my most ridiculous behaviour.

I went to the home sooner. I waited for Roopa and planned a surprise for her. I hoped to get her forgiveness. Roopa didn't come back to the house for the whole day and rained on my parade.

Roopa returned to the house, the next morning. She took a shower and getting ready in formals. I didn't speak as I was hurt for ruining my plans, the last day. I observed her actions keenly. I noticed a bandage on her wrist. My heart skipped a bit.

What happened to her hand? How did the injury occur?

I caught her hand and checked the bandage.

"What happened to your hand?" I asked her worriedly.

"Stop showing fake concern, Preetam. I know well that you never bother about me. You need a wife to give you an heir and serve your parents, you brought me back to your home," Roopa said taking her hand off of my grip.

I lost my temper. Roopa crossed all her limits by saying that I brought her home to serve my parents and me. I decided to give her some treatment to shut her mouth and think before speaking.

I immediately pinned Roopa to the wall. Roopa was not scared of me. She encircled her arms around my neck. I could never predict her actions. I guessed that Roopa planned to test my self-control levels.

"If you talk like this one more time, you will get good punishment from me, my dear sweet wife," I said pretending infuriate.

"I am not your sweet wife," Roopa said, touching my lips with her forefinger. I left my serious fake mode with her simple touch.

"Then are you my hot wife?" I said scrutinising her curves from face to toe by touching my lips with the tongue to make her nervous. My simple act could bring quiver in her. Roopa gasped as I held her waist, pulling her towards me.

"Darling, tell me where did you go yesterday? Where were you yesterday night? Didn't I tell you to return home by 6 pm?" I asked, making her look into my eyes.

"I... I.. Won't... Say... All... That... To... You... Who... Are... You... To... Ask me?" Roopa stammered as I kissed her neck and moved my tongue in circular motions on her neck savouring her.

"Don't you know who I am? Should I make you realise that by yourself baby?" I said, rubbing her cheek with the back of my right palm.

She shuddered at once and closed her eyes. She didn't know with whom she is playing. I smiled at her nervousness. I felt blessed to get Roopa as my wife.

I placed a soft kiss on her cheek and her neck. I inhaled her fragrance deeply. I held her by the waist as Roopa lost her balance to stand experiencing my love.

"Now do you remember who am I to you?" I asked her.

Roopa opened her eyes and pushed me away. Her eyes had tears. I didn't hurt her, but still, she was crying. Roopa tried to leave the room to escape from me, but I pulled her to me again. Roopa kept her hands on my shoulders to stand as I pulled her unexpectedly. I held her by the waist, and our lips were almost touching.

"I have not finished yet, baby. Now you are going to be punished by me for staying away from home the whole night without informing me and for not returning home as per my order," I said.

Holding her hand softly, I locked the door. Then, I threw her on the bed to have some fun with my sweetheart. I sat on the bed near her.

"Pree.. Preetam, stay away from me," Roopa said.

"Why do you want me to go away from you, sweety?" I asked her.

"Don't touch me or I... I.. " Roopa stopped as if she didn't understand how to complete the sentence.

"What will you do baby if I touch you other than melting in my touch, blushing and closing your eyes?" I said moving closer to her.

"I... I.. Will... " she stopped as if she was thinking.

"Do one thing. You go and complain to the police saying your husband is trying to make love to you," I suggested her.

"Yes! I will file a complaint against you," Roopa said

"Sure, but for that first, you need to go to the police station. Before that I will love you to my satisfaction," I said and made her lay in the bed.

"Preetam, if you do this now, I won't ever forgive you," she said pouting. I kissed her pout as Roopa looked adorable.

"Really? Let me see," I said and kissed her softly.

Roopa smiled unknowingly and left herself to me closing her eyes and kissing me back. I caressed her hairs and left her. Roopa opened her eyes and gave me a confused look.

"I love you, Roopa. I won't force you until you give yourself to me heartfully with love. Your feelings matter to me a lot," I said kissing on her forehead.

I couldn't take advantage of her. Though I knew that she loves me, I wanted her to give that right to me.

"Roopa, in the evening, let's go out. Make sure that you are coming with me. Seriously, you will see my anger if you disturb the programme," I warned her.

Roopa nodded. In the evening, I went to the home and Roopa was ready by that time. Thank God! Roopa didn't hurt me again.

"Thank you for not upsetting my plan," I said and gave a peck on her cheek.

I got ready soon and took her to a resort. I opened the door of a suite and Roopa was about to step in but stopped noticing her maternal family there.

"Let's go inside, sweetheart," I said, keeping my hand over her shoulder.

I observed her tears. I understood her pain, but I wanted to unite her with her parents.

"Roopa!" her dad said.

"Why did you bring me here? I am leaving for our home, Preetam," Roopa said with tears.

"Roopa, listen to me. Do you think that I will bring you here if they hurt you?" I said pointing towards her family and holding her hand.

"I am sorry beta, please forgive us. We misunderstood you. Preetam told who changed your note. Vinaya changed your note and wrote as if you eloped with someone. We are sorry," her dad said, but she got out of my hold and left from there.

I followed Roopa and found her crying. Roopa sat on a sofa placed there in the waiting hall of the resort. A girl can bear the accusations of anyone, but her heart shreds into pieces, with the mistrust of her parents. I didn't like her parents blaming Roopa without knowing the truth. Nonetheless, I knew well that still, Roopa loves her family. That's the only reason for me wishing to make her forgive her parents.

"Roopa!" I said, and she turned towards me.

Roopa hugged me crying. I caressed her hairs and hugged her back.

"Roopa, it's okay, please don't cry," I consoled her.

"They doubted me. I don't want to talk to them," Roopa said, trying to withhold her tears.

"Sweety, they did wrong. I agree with that. But relationships are very precious. They are our family. Forgive them. I know you will forgive them because you love them," I said to make her understand the point.

"No! I won't forgive them. They blamed me and my character without my mistake," Roopa said.

"No! You did a mistake," I said cupping her face.

"What?" Roopa asked, shocked.

"Yes! Why did you leave on our wedding night without informing your parents or me? It's you who gave that chance to Vinaya to blame you. Till now you didn't reveal your reason to anyone. Roopa, first accept your mistake before blaming everyone," I said. I didn't mean to point out her mistake, but I wanted to clarify that she too gave a reason to blame her.

"I don't know, I didn't want to talk to them," s
Roopa said, crying.

"I am leaving," Roopa said, but I held her hand.

"Roopa, you are making me angry. I want to....." I stopped my words as she started crying more.

"You said you would not scold me for anything, but now you are scolding me," Roopa said, and I felt it cute.

"Oh! I forgot. Ok, I won't scold you," I said cupping her face and wiping her tears.

"Sweetheart, I am not forcing you to forgive them. Just listen to them. After that, take decision by yourself. Can't you do this for me?" I asked her and Roopa agreed finally.

"You shouldn't shout in the middle and let them speak. They are your parents, don't forget it," I softly said to her.

"Okay! I will not say anything to them. But if I get hurt, I will kill you after going home," Roopa threatened me.

"I am ever ready to die in your hands, baby," I said, kissing her forehead to change her mood.

Roopa starred at me for some time. I saw love for me in her eyes. She soon averted her gaze and walked towards her parents.

Her dad and brother apologised to her for their rude behaviour. She just nodded, being silent. They asked us to join for dinner, but I understood that she is not willing to have dinner with them. Roopa wanted to cry her heart out till all the pain of their avoidance goes away. I excused ourselves saying I have work and I can't leave her there.

As soon as we reached the home, Roopa ran to the room. She lay in the bed crying. I sat near her and made her get up. I hugged her tightly in my arms caressing her hairs.

"Roopa, it's ok. Control yourself," I said.

"How can they lose trust in their daughter just with a fake chit? Don't they have confidence in their brought up?" Roopa asked me.

I didn't know how to answer her.

"Preetam, I never loved anyone in my life except you. I never got such feelings for anyone. I focused only on my studies until our marriage was fixed. After our engagement, I developed feelings towards you. They never trusted my character, and you never trusted my love. I think it's all my fate. Everyone whom I love is hurting me," Roopa said sobbing.

"Roopa, situations forced us to do so. Finally, the truth was revealed. Now everyone knew that you are innocent" I said slowly.

Roopa cried for a long time and refused to have dinner. I brought food for her and fed her slowly. Roopa had her dinner, and at night during sleep, she hugged me tight and slept on my chest. I smiled and took her into my arms. I promised myself that I would never doubt or hurt her whatever may happen in our life.
